The man whose eyes looked like a cat nodded and immediately turned towards the set of employee desks not far from us. In just ten seconds, he could instantly bring Diana before me.

“Diana, can you take Icha to my restaurant?”

“Sure pack.”

“Then you do, see you.” Evano's father pamit who was nodded by me. He and Yudha then turned back to his room.

I, Lucy and Diana, remained in front of the closed elevator door. I didn't realize where the other employees were going to want to use the elevator, they weren't there.

“Sorry to trouble you, Diana.” I said just a stale word to him.

Diana who was standing next to me nodded with a wide smile. “Not troublesome at all. First time here, huh?”

“Yes, it's my first time here.” My answer.

“Pak Evano is very good, although he is a big businessman, but very compact with his two younger brothers. He also provides opportunities for minimally educated people to work here.”

“It looks like you know Mr Evano very well, yes?”

The door opened and the three of us immediately entered the empty elevator. Diana pressed button one after the door closed then glanced at me and said. “I never knew Mr. Evano had a child. People in the office no one knows if he has a daughter.”

“I can understand why no one knows.” I smiled and nodded in response to the curious gaze from Diana.

“But Mr. Evano always considers a young employee like us his son.” Diana added who sounded offending me.

Once again I smiled and nodded. “Betul, I can see that earlier.”

“Young Jeremy, can I help you bring the jacket?” Suddenly Lucy made a reflex voice that made me and Diana look back.

Lucy's eyes were still fixed on my left hand that was still carrying the jacket, I smiled and nodded. At least this might melt the stiff atmosphere between the two of us.

“Thank you.”

“Nothing.” Lucy looks happy, she's smiling little back at me.

“Madam's young Jeremy? Didn't Evano say you were Danendra?” Now that Diana's expression looked accusatory, I looked at her while frowning in dislike.

“How about we straighten things out here.” I said to fold both hands over my stomach. My eyes glanced at the small screen that showed the floor numbers we were aiming for, we were already on the second floor, then I immediately pressed the stop button which instantly made the elevator shake and come to a halt.

“What do you do?” Diana asked in surprise.

Lucy looked at me as well and I just raised my hand that was nodding back at her.

“Let's chat, so Diana, right ‘kan?”

“Ya.” Diana replied briefly, her face pouting in panic.

‘kan?”

“True, I've been working here since graduating High School, Mr. Evano himself taught me directly so I could like this. People here already consider me to be Evano's sir's daughter. I know all about him, he has no children. Even his old employees here have never heard of Mr. Evano.”'s son

“Yes. Is correct. I can't argue with that.” I nodded in agreement.

“Then are you a son of Mr Evano?”

“If it's about that, I've never tested DNA with him.” My answer is half joking.

“Mrs!” Lucy squealed in shock at me, about to argue but I shook my head at her.

“Yes, I know. Mr. Evano has always been kind to orphans.” Diana smiled happily which instantly made Lucy move forward, but I immediately held her back.

“It's nice to hear Mr. Evano as good as that in your eyes.” I nodded, Diana's smile not fading even for the next few seconds.

“But Diana, I think your attitude was a little exaggerated earlier. Maybe you can think of it like your own father, but at work, you are still his employee so please control the nature of your curiosity, there should be clear boundaries in every place.” Says seriously.

“So you, the one I just met is teaching me?”

“Not. This is a warning. With your attitude earlier, for the person I just met it was a bit embarrassing. If someone else is in my position, maybe they will look down on Mr. Evano for hiring employees like you nearby.” Finished saying that I re-press the elevator button to get the elevator back on.

Diana looked at me in disbelief, as if I had just slapped her. He then glared dislikes while pecking annoyed.

“But I'm sure, Mr. Evano keeps you by his side because you're good at work. So, thank you for helping her all this time.” I smiled gently at him. I don't really hate him.

Diana turned to look at me in disbelief, before she replied, the elevator door opened in front of us. “Ayo.”

The employee waiting in front of the elevator immediately greeted Diana as this woman walked out in front of me. In view of their reactions, surely this woman is indeed famous as a confidant father.

The company lobby this afternoon was still crowded like I had just arrived, Diana stepped quickly towards the door but I immediately held her hand. “Wait a minute.”

As soon as the steps stopped, I circulated my gaze to the corner of this floor, looking for the figure of Bayu who was in the corner playing his phone.

The man was wearing a hat with Dika nearby, standing stiffly as he stared around him. When her eyes found us, she called out to Bayu and pointed at me with her chin.

Bayu who was initially looking down immediately looked up and smiled widely from his place as soon as he saw me. As he stepped closer to me, his hand held the phone back in his pants pocket.

My smile grew wider as his figure approached, but we did not meet for a few hours it felt like I had not seen him for a long time.

“Mrs..” Suddenly Lucy pulled slowly on my left hand, which immediately made me aware of the small sting of a sewing wound on the shoulder.

I turned around and found a male employee carrying a box in his hand until his head was nowhere to be seen.

“Sorry, excuse me.” He said passing us.

“They're okay?” Lucy looked at me. I shook my head and smiled calming her tense expression.

“You were a little surprised.” Lucy said again.

“You're the bodyguard?” Diana asked Lucy. I glanced at him and just shook his head slowly. It seems like this woman's nature is always curious even in people she just met. Lucy simply glanced at him without answering.

“What's up, Boo?” Bayu immediately embraced me as soon as he was near me.

“Nothing. By the way Diana, the father's employee who will drive us to the restaurant.” I immediately introduced Diana who was blatantly watching Bayu from top to bottom.
