“Then your blood has to be tested again. I'll give it to you again after four hours. You better lie down first.” Doctor Stefan helped me lay down slowly and covered me in my stomach.

“How do doc?” Bayu came to us, he was standing next to Doctor Stefan looking at me.

“Must have another blood test. The pain reliever I previously gave has not been effective.” Doctor Stefan replied.

Sister Rini came quickly and she herself took my blood.

I realized that Doctor Stefan was just silently watching Sister Rini, but her gaze looked as if she was daydreaming.

“I understand. Don't worry, use your time to check the blood doc. I'll accompany him.” Hearing Bayu's meaningful-sounding answer made Doctor Stefan's daydreams scatter.

He looked at Bayu and nodded. After everything was finished, Doctor Stefan and sister Rini resigned.

Bayu approached me and sat down on the side of the bed, looking at me in silence. As I had seen in the expression of Doctor Stefan, Bayu also seemed to be daydreaming.

“Why?” I broke the silence between us.

He then pulled the blanket higher and replied. “Don't do that dangerous thing again. You should have called me and didn't have to run around looking for me.”

But I'm sure that's not what the daydream is.

I pulled his hand close to the reach of my right hand, grasping it tightly. “At the moment I was just scared, the dream seemed so real. Anyway, I think it seems outrageous ya cursing at you like that.”

Bayu held my hand back and the other hand raised rubbed my head. “I'm sorry for being such a bitch. I really don't know what else to do to keep you from working today and taking a break. At least today you have to take a complete break and tomorrow also you can not work.”

“Why?!” I asked to frown because my escape plan that had been thought to be futile.

Bayu smiled slightly and said. “Tomorrow last day of my suspension. The day after I started work so at least I want you to accompany me, hm?”

I chuckled softly, staring at her exhausted face made me not have the heart. He must have cape once to take care of me from the day after yesterday.

“Good. But I want out of the hospital tomorrow!”

“Tapi—“

“I don't want to just shut myself up at home. While you are not working, I should use you as well as possible ‘kan?” I whispered asductive.

Bayu laughed a little. “Ya I gave up deh.”

I also laughed in embarrassment, this feeling of pleasure and relief covered the throbbing pain in my stitch wound. It seems that Bayu laughter is a more effective remedy compared to painkillers.

“...Only that's the information we can.” I faintly heard the whispering of Lifer as my ears became aware of the situation.

My eyes were left closed when I remembered that I had fallen asleep after chatting with Bayu for a while.

I couldn't move my body straight away, it felt stiff and needed more power than I imagined. Either because of the wound or the poison but my body seemed to lose a lot of energy even though I was lying down to rest.

“When you get back to work, we will immediately do it according to instructions.” I heard the whisper of Lifer.

They seemed to be discussing something important on the sofa and if I woke up suddenly I would definitely bother them.

“I understand. I'll revisit this information and plan some.” strategies It was Bayu who spoke softly back, it was almost unclear if I did not carefully hear it.

“As usual, just the four of us. So each of us must prepare as best we can. It will be a dangerous task.” Ronald said very slowly but with great emphasis.

What tasks will they do? I can't help but worry but I can't help anything either.

“I know you're worried about him, but you know that he's involved now. He's an insider. He deserves to know how dangerous the people you're dealing with are.” Whisper the resolute Benny spread the silence in this space.

“I admit that the danger he is facing now is far from what I imagined. Even Icha is smart and brave, I can say for sure that I can't leave her. Nevertheless, I think that he should not be involved in this mess.” Bayu answered this time his voice could be heard more clearly.

So they're talking about me?

“But does he still have a chance to escape? Do you think he'll be safe if he's away from you and your cases?” Benny asked again.

“I don't know.”

“Huh? Didn't know? I never heard you say that.” The man sounded mocking.

“We are already inseparable, I really do not want him to face a difficult situation.” Bayu's reply made my heart suddenly beat fast.

Why do I get nervous like this when I'm eavesdropping?

“Cannot be separated? Geez! I have to tell Talia what you said!” Lifer's voice sounded normal not whispering like before.

“By the way, you've been offending Talia a lot today. You really miss him? Didn't you come home last night and just leave this morning? Only for three hours you didn't see it.” Ronald is heard mocking Lifer.

“Whatever I say, you will not understand because you are not married.”

“So? Alright I won't argue.” Ronald chose to give up.

In my heart I chuckled softly, funny how Lifer always excels in the marriage debate with her friends.

“Oh yes instead Talia will be here?” Ask Ronald again.

“Yes, he's coming soon. It's lunch time so I'll take her to lunch first. You guys coming?”

“I'll accompany Icha here. You guys just go.”

“Aren't you having breakfast yet? It's noon already. You better come too and let the sisters take care of.” Benny's words made me realize Bayu.

I completely forgot not to remind the guy about breakfast. Since morning maybe he didn't eat and drink? Holy hooch!

“True, you have to eat. Let Icha rest, she's not going anywhere.”

“Tapi—“

“You're worried about him running off looking for you again like this morning?” Ask Benny again made Bayu silent for a moment.

For a few seconds there was no reply from Bayu. “One of them.”

“But I think Icha is calm now. I'm sure he won't run looking for you again. So let's go.” Take Benny one more time.

I feel guilty.

I was too selfish to think about my own pain.

“Good. Let's go.” Bayu finally agreed which instantly made me very relieved.

Then, there was no meaningful conversation from them. I only heard the sound of footsteps and open door knobs, as well as the sound of footsteps approaching me until I felt something soft touch my forehead.

From the fragrance of perfume and its presence alone I know that it is Bayu.

She was so sweet, peeked at my forehead first and stepped away from me to join her friends. Not long after, the sound of a closed door knob sounded.

The silence and voidness instantly felt. Feeling that there is no one in this room.

After a while I ventured to open my eyes. The bright room due to the lighting of the large window on my left side illuminated the room.

The sound of the clock seconds sounding loudly domineering, it was now almost one o'clock at noon.

My hand was raised, touching my left chest where my heart was beating fast. This feeling of worry and happiness mixed as a result of eavesdropping on their conversation.
