EMBRACE YOU: Presence & Poison
Episode 325's

...

“Actually I don't think too much about it, after all it's past and Bayu is already beside me now. That's what matters.”

“Their intention was to match me up, probably because I saw my workaholic back then.”

“At that time?” my steps stopped, this time actually staring at him face to face as we were already in the lobby.

The man's face muttered softly and replied, “at that time—when you left just like that.”

Ahhh…

“At that time I was very upset and angry with you, so I took it out by working, accepting all impossible missions though.”

Suddenly the cavity of my chest ached remembering those times again, I immediately tiptoed to hug her shoulder. “True. I'm sorry.”

“I don't want our mornings to start with sadness. We better forget the past. Hm?” Bisik Bayu hugged my waist tightly.

“Ya.” My voice sounds more blurry.

No no no no!

Why is my view so blurry! Hot eyes!

Why did my throat hurt, as if something was holding him there.

Basic hormones!!

“Cha!” Bayu took off our embrace, pushing me so she could see my face clearly. I want to smile and say I'm okay, but I can't.

Feeling guilty and imagining hard Bayu when it makes me sad and want to roar, cry, apologize to him.

I could only hide my face in his chest and subconsciously drop by tear drops down his cheeks and clothes.

How humiliating!

I was crying in the lobby of the apartment!!

Suddenly I felt floating, my feet no longer stepped on the marble floor and knew Bayu had carried me princess style.

The embarrassed me immediately hugged his neck tightly, hiding my face between his jaw and shoulder.

All the way back to the apartment room, I just sobbed a little and Bayu did not say a word.

We were already inside the apartment and Bayu drove me to the room, then laid me on the bed.

While looking down, not wanting her to see my crying face, Bayu let out a small sigh and decided to sit facing me.

“Boo—”

“I'm sorry.”

“What?”

“I can't imagine what kind of hardship you had when I left just like that.” My voice was still shaking but I was determined to stop crying.

“Darling, we better forget that, hm? As you said, the important thing is now that we are together.” This man cupped both of my cheeks, wiping away the trail of tears there.

“I'm too sensitive, probably because of hormones.” I answered small, already daring to look at him.

Bayu smiled small and replied, “I know.”

“Better you leave soon. Sorry for making you have to drive me here again.”

“I'll leave when Lucy and Dika come. While waiting, I will accompany you to bed.” He went straight up to the bed, pushed me slowly to lie down and he lay down beside me. My gaze was a little distracted looking at her barefooted feet and leaving only socks.

I did not argue and only according to so Bayu enveloped us both. Her hand immediately grabbed me and her other hand had taken out her phone, intending to tell Lucy and Dika to come quickly.

But before the two people came, subconsciously my eyes slowly closed. The sleepiness instantly struck as soon as my head touched the pillow and within minutes I began to enter dreamland.

Something refreshing but warm until the heart stuck to my forehead, just a few seconds, it lifted relieving the comfortable sensation there.

I opened my eyelids, at first my vision was faint, but it slowly became clear.

“Bayu.” My slow, slightly hoarse voice called out to him because of this man's face I first saw.

Bayu kissed my forehead and cheeks, then whispered, “I go home.”

“Welcome.” I smiled, realizing it was late afternoon. All day long I was lying in bed after this morning Bayu drove me again.

“Lucy said, you had a little fever earlier. Thank goodness it seems to have gone down.” Her palm stuck to my forehead once more,

I who wanted to get up sat, helped by him to prepare a pillow on my back so that I could lean more comfortably.

“I'm already good. How's in the office?” I asked as I grabbed his hand and held it tightly.

“I've started preparing for the end of my duties here. In less than two weeks we'll be home.” My ears like the word about ‘home kita’.

“Please hold on for a minute.” He said while sticking his forehead on my forehead, “I will be calm if there is a family who take care of you.”

I could feel there was a sad tone in his words, he must have been referring to the incident this morning.

“I will be stronger for you and for our child.” My answer is a bit embarrassed considering today my condition is sick due to the provocation of Mr. Baron.

“I'm happy. We complement each other.” Reveal her while keeping her head away and looking at me with a gentle smile.

Happiness is not enough to describe my mood. Every time I was with him, I felt loved. She looked at me with a real radiance that there was only me the only woman in this world.

In every word and action, Bayu always put me first.

I can't imagine what would happen to me right now if she wasn't present in my life. My hope right now is to live a long time with him in this world.

But in fact, every ray that shines on something is always a dark shadow behind, the brighter the ray, the darker the shadow that follows. As well as our ray of hope, the shadow was quietly waiting for the right time to swallow that hope.

The next morning, as usual I drove Bayu to the front of the apartment building and luckily we did not meet the couple of Mr. Baron and Nadya because honestly I was not looking to cross paths with them. After all, in less than two weeks the work of the Bayu service will be completed.

“Today you have to rest again, hm?” bayu said, turning around, when she was about to get into the green jeep car belonging to the office inventory.

I nodded, not wanting to argue. This man smiled slightly as he gently rubbed the top of my head.

“...and I have told Lucy and Dika that you should stay as far away from Mr. Baron and his wife as possible. I really don't like them.” His expression turned serious.

“I also don't want to cross paths with them.”

“Yes. You just calm down, honey. I won't let them approach you again.” I nodded and smiled slightly, then tiptoed to give him a peck on the cheek.

“Be careful on the road. Don't speed.”

Bayu replied to me with a kiss on the cheek, then he immediately got into the car, closed the door and waved at me before his car left the parking lot in the apartment building.
