After the prayer, all the santri immediately return to their respective dormitories to put their mukena, prayer mats, and Qur'an before going to the food stand.
In the dormitory, Ai and Asri were chatting lightly while tidying up their prayer equipment. They talked about their first night here which was quite memorable and quite draining.
Sometimes, their chat will be interspersed with the nosy topic of Asri who is still talking about boys. He looked amazed and could not help but look enthusiastic on his already reddened face.
"Oh my God, Ai.Besides being a good friend like you here I can also get a satisfactory intake of liver vitamins!" He said very happy.
Ai shook her head helplessly, the romance in their age was not something strange. It's just that because of this inside the boarding school then the sensation of shy love of this cat is much more refreshing than in the outside world.
Silent listening to all the expressions of gratitude Asri could not say anything, the corner of Ai's eyes suddenly caught the arrival of Mega. He walked into the room alone with his striking flat face. His eyes would rather stare down than return the curious gaze of the other roommates.
Ai was eager to call Mega and say her thanks, but before she could do that Sari was already beside her with an unusual big smile.
"Dad! Are you done yet?" Tanya Sari looks suspicious.
Asri even had to keep her mouth shut and was forced to spend her precious time observing Sari's suspicious movements.
Ai smiled,"Alhamdulillah, Asri and I just finished cleaning up. Want to go now?" Ai thought Sari was here because she wanted to take them along to the food stand.
But who would have thought that Sari had come to him because she wanted something.
"Let's go there later. We waited half an hour before we could have dinner." He said while grinning.
Indeed, because many students must be served, they will experience a delay of 15 to 30 minutes for the distribution of food evenly. To be honest, this was common so Ai was not too surprised.
"Oh.but I think we should get there right away so that the kitchen staff is not overwhelmed when distributing food." Said Ai still with a smile.
Sari nodded dissatisfiedly, "Well, you can go there first but are you willing to help me before leaving?"
Asri immediately turned his face away, rolling his eyes lazy.
"What help? God willing if I can be helped." Said Ai without hesitation.
Sari smiled widely, her hands scratching her brows pretending to think.
"Did you still have the food we put together in your closet this afternoon? That..if you don't mind will you hand it out to me a pack or two of bread? Right now I am very hungry. I can't hold it till dinner."
"I'm still-"
"Dad." Call Mega cut Ai's speech.
"Mega.." Ai was surprised but she was also happy to be greeted by Mega.
Mega walked lightly close to Ai and Asri. He smiled faintly at them and acted as if there was no Sari here.
"All the food in Ai's closet is mine. It just so happened that I wasn't around this afternoon so now I'm going to take my part." He said as he looked at Sari arrogantly.
Sari was stunned, she faced off again with Mega here and without any preparation. But his prestige was so high that he did not easily give in.
"Oh, it's your own fault for not getting the part so you can't want Ai's!" Sari culas.
Mega smiled lightly, "Isn't it because someone is too greedy that I don't get my share? Hah.I remember someone took more than two packs while the other took two packs. Hey, do you know who that greedy guy is?" Her question pretended not to know but her eye light clearly showed ridicule.
Sari was so angry being humiliated like this by Mega. He knows if Mega actually knows who it is but pretends not to know just to embarrass him.
"I don't know." Sari's lie held back her emotions.
Mega then laughed a little. Some time later his face returned flat, glaring at his sharp eyes as if he was looking down on Sari.
"Don't be too greedy, if you want to be friends, be friends with your heart." Mega Sweat is cold.
Sari could no longer bear being cornered by him.
"What do you mean I've been using Ai all this time?"
Mega does not argue, "Isn't that so?"
