He was indeed nervous to be stared at directly by Umi but that did not mean he could not speak. He could endure his nervous feelings by talking a lot. The more Mega talk, the more relaxed the feeling.
Tiara and Sasa once again nodded lightly. Now they're starting to worry about not knowing who to trust. Mega is haughty but the story makes sense.

"Umi's sure God loves you so much that he sent you here, son." He said softly while rubbing Ai's pretty face.
Ai and the others were very surprised. In their hearts they wondered if Umi knew Ai or had ever met Ai. Oh, maybe like what happened in the drama, could it be that Ai's parents asked Umi to treat her differently here?
But it's very impossible. Tiara and Sasa for many years lived here knowing enough that Umi was a fair and wise person. Money or connections would not affect the sense of justice in his heart.
