I'm Not an Old Virgin
Season II: Mahligai of Love (Chapter 11.12)

The Flash Back On

It's been 3 months Vano hasn't met Ai and she misses him so much. He misses wanting to play with Ai but can't because they are in a different city.

Vano doesn't actually want to go to school outside the city but Papa and Mama insist on forcing him to leave. They say this school is very good and accredited A, accreditation that can only be entered by smart and accomplished children.

Vano does love it because the school is comfortable, the facilities are good, and he also has no shortage of friends. But compared to Ai, he would rather play with Ai than have to go to school here. I don't know since when he grew his dependence on Ai, a beautiful, quiet girl who needed his protection.

Today Vano has just finished his mid-semester at school. Hurry her home to take Papa and Mama home to their hometown because the school gives her a day off.

Vano is very happy. On the way home he took the time to go down in the shopping center with Mama and Papa to buy Ai some toys. Inside the shop she could not stop smiling from imagining Ai's sweet reaction when receiving a gift from him.

But Vano's plan was forced to be postponed because the road was very jammed and both parents were also tired after passing the long journey. So be Vano looking for Ai to his house after sunrise again.

She was very excited that day to want to meet Ai soon. But again he had to swallow the bitter reality because Ai was not at home. There was only Father Ali and Mother Sapphira at home with Ai's sisters.

They said Ai went to Aunty Annisa's house outside the city and would come home 1 week later.

Vano was very disappointed. He returned home with a sullen face. For 1 week he went back and forth to Ai's house in the hope that Ai had come home. But her hope never materialized because Ai still had not returned.

As a result, the 1 week he was waiting for turned into disappointment. Vano is back out of town because the holiday is over. The gift he prepared for Ai was forced to be saved first because he wanted to give it in person when meeting with Ai later.

Vano's disappointment continued at later times. Whether it's a long holiday or not, Vano always tries to go home to meet Ai but it's always nothing he gets.

Vano is a smart kid. He knew something was wrong with this because whenever he looked for Ai, Ali's father always said that Ai went to this house and this

And this continued over and over again until finally Vano graduated Junior High. He has graduated from Junior High and plans to continue his schooling in his hometown in order to meet with Ai.

I don't know, he couldn't guess why he was so dependent on Ai. He only knows that Ai can only play with him and he is not willing for Ai to have new friends, making Ai forget about him. Vano was very upset when he thought about it.

Upset with anger, Vano finally told his suspicions to Ali's father.

"Did Om hate me?"

"No, why should I hate you?" Ali's father replied casually and authoritatively.

"If it's true, then why didn't Om ever let me meet Ai? Every time I came here I could never meet him. If this only happened once or twice, maybe it wasn't my luck but it always happened every time I came looking for it. Tell me honestly, Om, have you been deliberately hiding Ai from me all this time?"

He was a teenager and still inexperienced in the world. But the sharp gaze he brought carried a serious impression that no child his age had.

"You finally know. It's true that I deliberately kept Ai away from you."

Vano doesn't understand, "It would be strange if I didn't know. But what's the reason Om kept Ai away from me? Have I ever made a mistake?"

Ali's father smiled wryly.

"I'll answer it after you answer my question first. Tell me honestly who's Ai for you?"

"He's my friend." Vano is quite confused.

He doubted Ai was a friend to him because deep in his heart he considered Ai more than that.

"Really, are you sure?"

Vano was dazed, he could not answer Ali's father's question. No, more precisely Vano hesitated to answer Ali's father's question.

"If it's just a friend then why do you want to meet him so much? Insist every year come looking for it even though you will always end up in disappointment. Tell me, is this normal among friends?"
