Along the way home the three of them looked dazed and still could not escape the impromptu news they had just heard earlier.
Ai had never heard of Abu Hurairah's boarding school culture because she didn't really think much about it. He only focused on listening to the advice that Dad said because he used to be a graduate of the boarding school even though he was not Abu Hurairah. So Ai thought all the rules of the cottage were the same and she wasn't too worried.
Mega is also very different from Ai. If Ai has a father who helps her with her experience during her stay at the cottage then Mega can only rely on her reluctance to school here without caring about the rules of the boarding school. He was just thinking of staying quiet and running everything around.
Last is Asri. He was a country boy from a simple family. He is grateful to be able to school here and has promised to follow all the rules of the boarding school.
But among all these situations the three of them never thought that they would receive such a great surprise.
"Closed life? Isolation for 1 year?" Asri muttered in confusion mixed with surprise.
He threw himself on the bed, looking at the ceiling of his room with a complicated look.
"I've never heard of this rule before." The word Mega is no less empty with Asri.
He now sits himself on the floor to absorb the cold and cool sensation to get rid of the sultry in his body.
"Does anyone know what it means to isolate yourself for 1 year?" Asri asked felt these words were more suitable to use for prisoners than them.
Ai shook her head unconvinced, "We'll know after Ustazah comes to give guidance."
"Well, we can also talk about it with other friends. Maybe they know and can share information with us." Mega said not to bother.
He put this confusion aside and began to focus himself to rest. While Asri was struck by thoughts about the suspicious words 'closed life' and 'isolation for 1 year'.
I don't know why he suddenly felt such a bad feeling.
Meanwhile, Ai began to close her eyes looking like she was asleep. Either no one knows what he has in mind at this time because after the meeting earlier he became more economical talking.
Until finally their room friends returned to pray Zuhur congregation. They use that to ask about the 'culture' of their boarding school which is quite surprising. But unfortunately no one knows unless they hear whispers from seniors that a closed life is a very important test for new students so they must behave well during isolation.
"Assynogaal?" A girl gently knocked on the door of Fatimah RA's room.
Some of the people who heard immediately stopped their activities and looked towards the entrance.
"Mosur." Answer them without being told.
The girl smiled gently, she was the kind of senior who was very calm and did not particularly like to talk.
"Is there something here called em.." He picked up the white paper tucked inside his thick book and started reading foreign names.
"Asri Rahmawati Dewi, Mega Asafa, and Aishi Humaira?" His soft voice called out, not out loud but also not too weak.
It's fun enough to hear. To be honest this is not surprising because the memorizers of the Qur'an have a very nice voice and are pleasant to hear because they keep the voice carefully, moreover, the memorizers of the Qur'an have a habit of eating halal food that is favored by the Prophet.
So no wonder men and women in boarding schools have a softer and more soothing voice.
Ai hung her cloth on the wall beside her bed. After that he naturally walked up to the foreign girl with a gentle smile on his face.
"Sorry Brother, the names you mentioned earlier are the names of the three of us." He said while pointing at Asri and Mega who were still at home sitting on the bed.
The girl smiled. Reinserted the sheet into his thick book that had piled up on his right arm.
To be honest this seemed a bit heavy but the girl looked mediocre.
"The three of you were summoned by Ustazah Nur in the staff office of the girls' dormitory. About lunch Ustazah said you can eat there so you don't have to go to the cafeteria to join the other students." The girl delivered a message from Ustazah Nur in a light voice.
Though everything is the same because the food in the staff office is also made from a soup kitchen.
"Did you know why the three of us were called?" Mega walked up to Ai with Asri.
The girl smiled as she shook her head, "Sorry, deck. Ustazah Nur didn't tell me."
Ai nodded in understanding. He was neither afraid nor worried because he was sure he never made a mistake again except for the case of 'lying' this morning in the rice field.
He's just a little nervous.
They said a few polite words to the girl before going to the office of the girls dormitory staff. His still jealous roommates shouted lightly asking the three of them to bring the leftovers back to the room if they could not finish it.
Ai obviously wanted to laugh because she thought the food in the cafeteria would have no difference to the one in the cafeteria. But yes, he only said God willing to avenge his roommates.
"Assalamualaikum, Ustazah?" Ai, Mega, and Asri politely knocked on the office entrance so as not to disturb the rested office staff.
One of Ustazah raised his head, it was not Ustazah Nur and they did not know him. The man stood up and invited them to sit on the sofa.
"What are the three of you that Ustazah Nur is looking for?" He asked friendly.
The three of them nodded.
"That's us, Ustazah." Asri tame said.
"Ustazah Nur still has business and will be back in a few minutes. Before he left he told you to have lunch first while waiting for his arrival." Ustazah said as he opened the hood of saji on the table.
"Thank you, Ustazah." Say a soft Ai followed by Asri and Mega.
The Ustazah smiled, uttering a few friendly words before returning to his chair to continue the work.
After Ustazah left, they quietly stared at the dishes that were on the table. There are already 3 dishes of white rice with normal portions, 1 plate of chicken suir sambal, 1 bowl of clear vegetables, and 1 plate of corn parchment. This meal was just like their dinner menu last night.
"So, what part should we leave for them?" Asri asked, wanting to laugh.
"Enough plates." Mega's answer is not serious.
"I didn't do it on purpose, Ustazah. I'm defamed!"
The attention of the three of them was suddenly drawn by the voice of someone who was already familiar. For Asri and Mega this sound is quite annoying, still imprinted in their memories.
"Eh, isn't that Sari?" Asri said while looking at the most end of the table Ustazah.
There is Sari, a girl who has disappeared since morning and never received punishment or come to school.
Seriate..
