I'm Not an Old Virgin

I'm Not an Old Virgin
Season II: Mahligai of Love (Chapter 17.1)

On a holiday at the boarding school, Ai, Mega, and Asri took their time sitting in the rice fields while enjoying the breeze that blows lightly flying their hijab cloths.

"Mashaa Allah, today the tea is more ademic than usual. The wind is also cool and comfortable." Said Asri while closing his eyes enjoying the day breeze that felt so cool and cooler.

Ai and Mega felt the same way. Mega closed her eyes to enjoy while Ai brought her eyes to look at the expanse of sky at the end there.

Looking at the vast unattainable expanse of the blue sky, looking so high that the expanse of blue sky, and seeing clumps of white clouds floating freely in the expanse of blue sky, the blue sky, ai's heart beats warmly longing for God.

What a power God has. Make the blue sky as the roof of the earth that is not colonnaded like a house.

From the sky God rained rain, soaked the earth, and grew various plants.

Mashaa Allah, truly longs for this heart every time you think about it.

"Do you know that this world is just a stage of joking?" This question suddenly came out from Ai's lips, attracting the attention of her two best friends easily.

"Suppressed thing?" It felt like I had heard these words but I forgot where.

Ai smiled,"Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said in the letter Al-Akabut verse 64 that is,

Wa maa haazihil-hayaatud-dun-yaaa illaa lahwuw wa la'ib, wa innad-daarol-aakhirota lahiyal-hayawaan, lau kaanuu ya'lamuun.

"And the life of this world is only a play and a game. And verily the Hereafter is the true life, if they had known." (QS. Al-'Angur 29: Verse 64)

When they heard Ai's soft voice reading this verse they both immediately remembered discussing it in class.

"This is the first verse you taught me when you started to study religion. Father said this world is a test for us and even a punishment for the Prophet Adam As. All the wealth, fame, and power we have in this world is one of the tests of God. The test that whether we are able to pass it or not as a yardstick of how appropriate we will enter the afterlife. At that time Dad said that I should not be too ambitious for world affairs because this is just a place of joking, a place to receive a test is not a place worth living. Father said all the wealth that the Father and Mother family have is a deposit from God, and sooner or later God will take it too so that we should not be too baper about the deposit. In addition, Father once told me that if we truly love God then love sincerely as God loves us. Do not expect heaven even though it is an eternal place that all Muslims expect and do not love Allah for fear of the torment of hell even though everyone is very afraid of that place. Love God without asking for the reward of heaven or asking for the reward of being kept away from the torment of hell, but love God sincerely and only expect God's reward. For if we love God sincerely then God will not hesitate to return our love, He is the Power of all and will never give us a disappointing answer. Mashaa Allah, after being advised by Father and Mother, I strive to bring myself closer to God. I hope God will repay my love someday." Ai tells of her past wonderful experiences.

The day when he did not know the religion and the day when he began to slowly get to know the religion. It is difficult but gradually Ai began to enjoy the process of learning so that he could be in this cottage and meet his two best friends.

"Mashaa Allah, I am deeply touched by your father's teaching. Hearing your story made me suddenly remember the advice of my father in the village." For a moment the shadow of those good times flashed inside Asri's head.

"My father was not a boarding school but his knowledge Inshaa Allah is not inferior to the cottage people because he used to love reading books belonging to his friends who had studied in the cottage." Asri said full of pride.

"Everday you gave me an advice on how to be successful in this world and succeed in the hereafter. The key is in the letter of Al-Asr, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said, that

وَا لْعَصْرِ

Wal-'ashr

"For the time."

اِنَّ الْاِ نْسَا نَ لَفِيْ خُسْرٍ

Innal - ingsaana lafii khusr

"Really, humans are at a loss,"

Illallaziina aamanuu wa 'amilush-shoolihaati wa tawaashou bil-haqqi wa tawaashou bish-shobr

"Except those who believe and do good and counsel one another for truth and counsel one another for patience." (QS. Al-'Asr 103: Verses 1-3)

Asri chanted the short letter solemnly.

"Make good, not stingy knowledge and advise each other to do good or advise each other to cultivate patience. It is worth more than wealth, money, or power. If we follow the instructions of this short letter then God willing, we are not only successful in the world but also in the hereafter."
