"Don't think of him. I'm sure he's causing trouble again." Mega said indifferently.
Rather than looking at Sari, she better start eating her lunch because she is very hungry today.
"We don't really need to think about it." Asri said he also took his food.
"We just need to watch it from here over lunch. Sure enough, our lunch must have tasted a lot better." Connect Asri which is directly followed by Mega.
The point is Mega and Asri still can't let go about their fight last night. Mega thought if Sari was not greedy then she should never have met Ustad Azam.
"Don't be like that. You must eat your food properly and do not be happy in the suffering of others." Ai reminded kindly so that these two friends did not make trouble.
Mega shook her head for Ai's kindness which again made her amused.
"This is Ai's life. You don't have to be good every day and we don't laugh at it anyway. We only see what suffering he went through, that's all and nothing more." Asri as always is good at quibbling.
"You should listen to it." Mega is also supported.
Ai let out a long breath. He said nothing more and started eating his lunch. Although not***** but he remembers very well what Ustad Vano said this morning. Do not waste food because here the food is very valuable.
This does not mean pesantren huts do not have but this means they must be clever to use it if there is because pesantren huts are not like at home. At home they may have everything but here they are all limited to reasonable portions.
Not too much, not too short.
"You did not come to receive punishment in the fields and neither did you come to school. We already have the evidence so you can't say that you're being slandered." The Ustazah said coldly.
Making Sari squish her hands nervously mixed with fear.
"Ustazah, sorry. I really didn't do it on purpose. I wanted to go to the rice field this morning to carry out my punishment but the rest of my friends didn't call me and left me alone in the cafeteria. I'm alone, Ustazah. But I still went to the paddy fields in hopes of meeting them again but I did not find them at all. I got lost, Ustazah, and accidentally got to a boys' school." He said he was embarrassed and sorry.
He even lowered his head not daring to look at Ustazah who was now introgating.
Ai raised her head looking at Sari who was at the end there. He saw it without saying anything. No one knew what Ai was currently thinking when she saw Sari.
"Don't think too much, eat in silence so you don't choke." Said Ai at last bowing her head.
Mega looked at Ai in silence, a few seconds later she returned to focus staring at her plate left half.
"First, you slander your friends. Second, you have lied and made unreasonable excuses to defend. Third, you dare to shirk your punishment and instead go sneak into the male santri school. Hardianti Sari, on the second day of living here you have made many mistakes that cannot be tolerated. Therefore we decided to call both your parents as a consideration whether you can still continue your education here or not." Ustazah said it was final.
Making Sari very surprised and unable to say anything for a while.
"Astagfirullah, the mistake he made was not kidding. Imagine, he was too daring to sneak into a male high school!" Bisik Asri, the first person to have finished his meal.
Mega glanced at Sari's pale face, "She deserved it." He said with a cold smile.
Meanwhile, Ai only let out a long sigh without making a comment. Honestly, he was a bit surprised to hear all the violations that Sari committed and he was even more surprised after hearing that the boarding school would consider Sari's fate next in the boarding school.
It's too heavy and too scary.
"Ustazah.please forgive me. This was a misunderstanding and I was slandered! I never meant to sneak into a boys' school!" Sari panicked, she then woke up from her seat rushing to plead with Ustazah.
"We have evidence from the cctv recordings at the boys' school, can you dispute that?" Ask Ustazah sharply.
Instantly Sari could not say anything. His face stiffened and began to lose blood. In an instant his face turned deathly pale and even his lips were faintly unable to say anything.
"Cctv recording.." His murmurs began to lose their voices.
