It was a cold winter night, and the moon was covered by clouds in the sky, thus allowing the Berengar spy network agents to engage in sabotage and murder against the Lords of Tyrol and their forces. Right now, a spy shrouded in dark clothes was maneuvering through the city of Lienz under the darkness.
His goal was to destroy the city granary; therefore, he began to approach the grain heap with a stick of dynamite in hand and a match. As soon as he was within range of the warehouse, which contained a lot of the city's excess food, he lit a match and used it to light the dynamite wick he threw into the building; before the explosion exploded, he disappeared into the night.
When the whole city heard the loud explosion, the fire engulfed the granary into a smoky ball of fire; the local garrison quickly reacted to the incident and were dismayed to learn that their city's main food supply had been sabotaged under their watch. Surely the head will roll for this disaster. The next day the local regent would open an investigation into the incident, but unfortunately for the Lienz community, they would never find the culprit. This scene is just one of many that appear on Tyrol; under Linde's command, a war of intrigue has begun.

In the town of Meran, another Berengar agent is active; he has been operating in the town for months, providing information to Berengar, long before the war began. Recently he had orders to kill the commander of the city garrison. During this time, she worked as a tavern waitress, where she was currently pouring drinks into her target destination. The man frequented the bar on a regular basis so he could tease the woman. After all, she was quite an attractive young woman and had been the object of her wish for quite some time now. Therefore, just as he was about to leave, he began to press him for answers to his enduring progress.
"Hey, honey, what time are you down tonight? I want to take you around town."
It was by no means the most seamless pick-up path, but eventually, the woman relented; after all, she was planning to take the life of this man today, after all, and what better way than to accept his proposal and go on a date. There would be plenty of opportunities to secretly end the man's life on such occasions. Therefore, she put on a beautiful facade and smiled at the man before accepting his invitation.
"Not long after midnight, you can pick me up then."
The garrison commander smiled from ear to ear when he heard the woman's reply. Finally, he gave her a chance! He can't wait for nightfall so he can spend quality time with the woman that he's so interested in.
"So where are you taking me?"
The garrison commander smiled and led the killer along the way
"It's a surprise."
Although the veteran spy smiled, he remained cautious inside; he did not know if he could potentially get into a trap. Nevertheless, they soon arrive at their destination, which is a dark alley with no one present. Quickly the garrison commander's warm smile turned into an evil grin as he pushed the woman against the wall and tried to force himself on her. Before long, a group of armored soldiers appeared nearby, numbering four in total, and began flanking the commander as the man whispered in his ear.
"We know you're a spy, but we'll enjoy your time with you first."
Realizing that his disguise had been uncovered, the spy took out a flintlock that could twist from his robe and fired a direct shot into the garrison commander's chest, which directly pierced through his heart. The soldiers were surprised to see their commander faint after a loud gunshot. However, before they could react, the spy manually shifted the room to the next round and fired another shot that pierced through the skull of a nearby guard who sent him into the afterlife. He managed to fire a total of five shots that killed every member of the squad who tried to force themselves on him.
The spy moved quickly, the sound of gunfire would definitely attract the garrison, and as such, he fled to his residence, where he packed up his belongings and quickly left the city before it locked up; he had to flee before City officials realized they had been infiltrated. After packing her gear, the woman quickly disappears from the town of Meran, where she has stolen a horse and fled into the night. He will eventually return to Kufstein, where he will be replaced by another member of Berengar's spy network. Nevertheless, he had dealt a significant blow to the city's defense as the Commander and Deputy Commander were killed in that alley, leaving the city without a competent commander. That would be very beneficial in Berengar's conquest of the territorial changes.
Such was the life of a spy; at one point, you hid safely among the masses. Next you flee for your life, the beautiful young lady was expecting such a result and was already preparing for it; by the time the garrison could react, she was long gone, she was already long gone, and they will become more cautious about who they let into their city going forward. It was not that such an event would prevent the Berengar network from infiltrating the city; at most, it only made it harder to do so.
