After consulting with his mother about the previous Actions, Berengar arrived at Ludwig's workshop. Where He greeted his old friend with a quick hug; the two men had recently been preoccupied with work and could immediately feel each other's fatigue.
"Ludwig, my old friend, tell me you have some good news?"
Ludwig chuckled when he heard Berengar's words; he did have some good news.
"Well, my Lord, you chose the most appropriate time to fight with the Church! After all, the Printing machine you found has long been in use and is currently working at full capacity. You just need to say a word, and we will change their production to help you fight the misinformation that the Church has to tell you!"
Berengar patted Ludwig's shoulder and brandished it.
"Ludwig, you're a genius!"
The old man smiled at the praise and brought Berengar into the factory, which was explicitly built for the manufacture of paper and printed materials. Water-powered paper mills are established throughout large factories. Once processed, they are placed in a printing press to make various Berengar reading materials that are introduced for general education. However, right now, he had an urgent need to spread the word about the sins of the Church, and because of that, he needed many pamphlets.
Berengar was currently standing in front of all the workers who had gathered before him. Now, they were well aware of the church's deception towards him, and as such, he did not need to explain the entire situation. Berengar took out the prototype pamphlet he had designed and sent it to the factory foreman.
"I need these made in the thousands so that we can send them throughout the German-speaking region, it is my hope that every learned person can read the errors of the Church. Can this be done?"
The press foreman was a middle-aged man with short gray hair and a mustache. He wore a new renaissance-style peasant outfit that Berengar introduced to its inhabitants through his textile mills. Her hair was also combed back with a pomade like Berengar, and her whiskers were waxed with the material. The man had a joyous expression on his face; he was always eager to help the Regent Kufstein; after all, without the young man's innovation, he was always eager to help, he would still break his back caring for the farm somewhere while getting nothing but the rest. Now, this man was part of a growing middle class and was quite wealthy among the general population. He owes the success of his life to Berengar and will never forgive the bastards in the church for trying to frame him. Thus, the,
"Of course, My Lord, I promise you, by the time the Church hears about what you have done to those damned inquisitors, My Lord, the whole of Tyrol and most of Austria will be aware of the bastard's bad deeds!"
Berengar smiled and shook the man's hand vigorously; it was good to have people capable of working for him. If this man did this, he might actually have to give the entire factory a raise. However, he made sure to give his men and crew a fair warning before doing so.
To Berengar, the people under his rule were part of the people he showed his gentle side to. These were men, women, and children under his protection as rulers, and he would not persecute them if he could avoid them. He truly cared about the happiness and well-being of his people, as he had also been an ordinary person in his previous life. With that said, he bade farewell to the factory workers and returned to his family's Palace, where Linde quickly greeted him; from the look on his face, he got good news, and therefore, he, Berengar dragged her into his study.
She sat at her desk and offered a seat to her pregnant lover before asking about the reason for her spirited appearance.
"Do you want to tell me why you smile from ear to ear?"
Linde smiled fervently and couldn't wait to tell the father of her son about the good news she had.
"I've managed to set up another cell in Innsbruck and Trient! Soon, the entire County Tyrol and Trient will be under our watch!"
Berengar was pleased with the news and rushed out of his desk and kissed the heavenly beauty excitedly after hearing the information he provided. It was too early for the couple to play around, but he could not help but do so after he heard the good news. Finally, he managed to resist his growing lust and instead sat down next to his lover. He wanted to know more about the details of his operation.
Linde carefully explained how she had contacted trustworthy people and told them she wanted to form a spy network, although he did not explain who he was working for when it came to his contacts at the Trient. Over time, the cells are fully formed and operate independently as usual. Until now, Berengar's ability to spread propaganda had grown rapidly beyond his own borders. Soon, commoners from other regions would see him as an ideal candidate for leadership. By the time he began to move for his political aspirations, few among the general public would believe the Church's lies.
After spending some quality time with Linde, Berengar fired her before returning to the village. Where he oversaw another day of elementary education teaching for the commoners in his territory. He began to hope on the day he wouldn't have to teach these people himself. Hopefully, he can find some competent teachers soon.
