When Love Should Determine

When Love Should Determine
Chapter 103

Hamzah accuses Larissa of insulting her mother. Although Larissa continued to try to explain and even swear in the name of Allah, Hamza still did not believe it.

"If you don't trust me anymore then fine, I accept your accusation. But now try to think with a calm heart, if it's true that I insulted your mother when I served the buyer like your mother said, then the first person to hear it was you, not your mother. Aren't you always by my side when I'm serving buyers?."

Hamzah began to be influenced by the arguments put forward by his wife. But he doesn't want to admit that.

Realizing that her husband was beginning to be affected, Larissa resumed her speech. "Now I ask you, have you ever heard with your own ears that I insulted your mother?."

Hamzah remained silent on hearing a serious question from his wife. Either he doesn't have an answer to that question or he doesn't want to answer.

"What a sad irony! We had a chance to talk about honesty and trust in the couple in front of Izzah and her husband a few days ago, but now we can't even do our own words," smiled bitterly. "But yes, it's okay. Maybe it's my destiny to lose the trust of my own husband" wiped the tears on his cheeks.

Hamzah remained silent at his wife's words and simply lowered his head. Perhaps he felt ashamed of himself when he heard Larissa's last words.

"Do you want to hear something from me?,"

"What?" asked Hamzah, looking up at Larissa.

"Someone once told me that your aunt said, 'had known that parents were renovating the house, and even helped build the house. It seems that if you don't want to lose to others', that's it."

For a moment Larissa was silent, letting her husband think about her words.

"As far as you know, I heard this not yesterday or today, but it was a long time ago, more precisely before we stopped building our house. Don't you think it's too long?."

"I was angry and disappointed when I heard that. But I kept it to myself and didn't let you know."

"But why?" asked Hamzah.

"You ask me why? because I didn't want to make things worse at the time. Do you remember how she was at the time?." Unknowingly Larissa had raised her tone due to the overflow of emotions. She was so angry and disappointed with her husband's attitude.

"I don't understand why I'm being accused of insulting your mother. What happened was actually the opposite. I'm the one who was insulted by your mother."

"Now I ask you, if what your mother said is true, I can only hide this because I don't want to make things worse, does your mother do the same to me?," a cynical smile on his lips.

Hamzah remained silent, unable to answer Larissa's question that cornered him.

"Do you know, there's one thing I regret, why I didn't just tell you back then. If that's what I do, then right now you're not gonna accuse me of this."

Hamzah remained silent and silent. His mind began to rage between believing her mother's words or Larissa's.

Larissa is tired, she is tired of always being the one to blame, without ever being given a chance to prove her innocence.

"Here you go, it's useless to talk to you a lot. You don't trust me anymore either. You never believed my words before" smiled bitterly.

Sometimes the journey of life takes us to our lowest point, and for Larissa, this is her lowest point. They often face more serious problems than this. But lost the trust of the husband???? Really, he never imagined it. Even in a dream.

"Easy! We better end our conversation and go to sleep. It's late at night, maybe it'll be dawn." Larissa turned her back to her husband and pulled the blanket over her head.

That night Larissa kept shedding tears in silence. Her heart was deeply wounded by her husband's accusations.

Hamzah decided to lay down the body as well, but he turned back to his wife. He never realized that he had made a big mistake. Larissa did accept her accusation, but along with it Larissa's feelings of love and affection towards her also disappeared.

Where the evidence is that I share love it feels like I'm slandered by the plans of people who intentionally expect us to be separated for all eternity.

If it is now you are bored why not speak frankly. Is it too when I live with you without others....

...****************...

Since that night, Larissa's attitude towards her husband has changed. It became so cold and untouchable. There was no more sweet smile on his face as he always showed, as if it had disappeared with the darkness of the night.

Larissa is no longer the Larissa that Hamzah used to know. There was no more manners that he always showed her. Not even reluctant he snapped when there was a little mistake he made.

Hamzah really lost the merciful and loving figure of Larissa They may have lived under the same roof, but no more harmony was created.

From that night on, Larissa decided to care about herself. He never set foot in the house of his father-in-law again. He was very hurt with them, especially the mother-in-law.

When a person is overcome by anger and hatred, he will forget everything, forget the values in himself, and forget the teachings he has. All that was inside him was an extremely burning vengeful flame.

And so is Larissa. He no longer remembered the love between them. In fact he had forgotten all the kindness and sacrifice of Hamzah for him all this time.

Hamzah may have made a mistake, but is it true that a wife dares to yell at her own husband and treat him like a maid?.

The more days Larissa was getting drowned in the flames of anger. And not only did she yell at her husband, she even started to play with other men.

Larissa did not immediately do this intention just like that. He was looking for a way to keep himself from being blamed for this. She was no longer the stupid and weak woman she used to be.

Often Larissa deliberately provoked the anger of Hamzah by doing something she did not like. His goal was only one, making Hamzah say the word talak so that he could freely find another man to replace his position.

Larissa could have demanded a divorce from her husband, but she did not want to do so. He wants Hamzah to be blamed for the divorce, not him.
