When Love Should Determine

When Love Should Determine
Chapter 110

Iqbal took Larissa to a nearby puskesmas when he saw Larissa groaning in pain in front of his house. On arrival, he immediately took her to the emergency room.

The nurse did an examination while asking Larissa a few questions.

Larissa answered all the questions that the nurse asked in accordance with how she felt at this time. He also explained that several days ago had just undergone surgery to remove a lump in the breast (FAM).

It would be a surprise to Larissa to hear the nurse say that the cause of her high fever was because all *********** was flushed like hot water. More surprised when the nurse said, "It looks like your surgical scar has an infection!."

"Can't it be, ma'am? Though all this time I treated my surgical wounds well," argued Larissa.

"The treatment of scars is not only from cleanliness, but also other factors such as food and others. But it does not rule out you have a history of allergies to food, drugs, or others" he explained. "Do you have a history of allergies as I said before? Or eat foods that trigger allergies?."

Larissa shakes. "No, mbak! I don't have any allergies."

"Good! Then now I will give you an injection first so that your condition improves a little."

Larissa nodded back. The nurse prepared an injection and injected it into Larissa's body.

"Already! Now you can rest here first. I'll make you a health report."

"Okay, ma'am, thank you!."

The nurse left Larissa, while Larissa herself tried to close her eyes. But just as he fell asleep, Iqbal woke up again to ask for some needed documents such as resident identification cards, family cards, and health cards for health reports.

Larissa told him where she used to put important documents and asked her sister to take them.

Iqbal prepared and drove his bike back to pick up the documents at home. And after getting everything necessary, he returned to the health center and handed it to the nurse who handled Larissa earlier.

A few minutes later Larissa was re-awakened by the nurse. "Sorry, ma'am, interrupt! But it looks like you've just been in hospital."

"Yes, ma'am!."

"According to the puskesmas procedure, we can only follow up with you further if you stop treatment there. Because we can't cover your health card right now."

Larissa was confused, not understanding the meaning of the nurse's words. "What's going on, mbak? I don't understand."

The nurse smiled, returning to explain in easier language. "If you want to do hospitalization here, you can not control the hospital until the health center states you are healthy right. But if you still want to do control in the hospital, then we can only give you medicine to relieve the pain temporarily."

Larissa nodded. "Oh, that, ma'am!."

"Yes, mom. This has become the health insurance policy," he said friendly. "So, what's your decision now?."

Larissa kept silent, thinking what decision the money would take. If he wants to control the hospital, he will have to wait a few more days until the surgeon's schedule arrives. But if you want to do hospitalization here, then he must wait until the health center declared him cured to be able to do health services at the hospital again.

An equally difficult choice. After weighing which is the best for now he finally decided to hospitalize at the puskesmas only. Especially at this time the condition of the body does require the best handling.

The nurse again passed by leaving Larissa to prepare for the inpatient room. And after all that was done, he went back to him. "Come, ma'am, we're moving to the hospital room, so the mother can also rest in peace."

Larissa nodded and resigned herself to what the nurse had done to her.

Everything was done by the nurse, because it was very late. There was no doctor there, only a few nurses on duty.

The atmosphere was quiet again after the nurse did her job. Larissa was alone in a large room. Lying limp on a cage shivering cold without pillows and blankets.

Ait eyes glistened withstanding all the pain in the body. His stomach was rumbling to ask to be filled because since the afternoon had not been admitting any food. The last meal he ate was due to nausea and vomiting.

"Entik, come home quickly. I need you right now. Look at my condition now!." The screams of Larissa's heart kept calling Hamzah's name asking him to go home.

Under these circumstances she realized that only her husband was always there for her and never left. Millions of regrets possessed Larissa's heart to make her chest feel tight.

The door of the room opened, Iqbal appeared behind it. His hand held a bag of crackles filled with rice wrap. Apparently, he had come out to buy Larissa rice because he thought his sister would need food before taking medicine to recover quickly.

"Larissa, awake! I brought you some food. Right now you must be really hungry, right?" he said.

"I'm hungry, brother, but my stomach is so nauseous."

"But you have to keep eating, Larissa. You'll be taking medicine soon, and for that you'll have to eat."

"But brother..."

"If you want to get well soon, you have to eat."

Iqbal's unequivocal remarks made Larissa according to. All this time, he was very afraid of his brother. "Let me help you!" Say again.

Iqbal unwrapped the food and took a spoon. Then he put a spoonful of food into Larissa's mouth. "Let's open your mouth!."

The smell of food pierced Larissa's nose and made her re-nausea. But he still accepted Iqbal's bribe in order not to disappoint his heart.

Iqbal was very painstaking when feeding Larissa, to make Larissa's heart touched by it. Perhaps this is called the blood bond, that as bad as any brother still will not bear to see his brother suffer.

"Thank you very much for your help, brother. I really appreciate your kindness at this time. One day, I will repay you." said Larissa's heart. "Stay like this to me, and don't change like you used to!."

Half the portion of the food has moved to the stomach Larissa. And now he can't eat it anymore. "Enough, brother, my stomach is no longer able to."

Iqbal put the food on the nightstand and changed to take the medicine that Larissa had to drink. "Now drink your medicine!," he said, offering a glass of water to her.

Larissa took the medicine from her brother's hand along with a glass of water. Then he drank it all at once. "Already, brother!," he said, returning the glass to his brother.

"Now rest again!."

Larissa was ready to close her eyes, but a moment later closed her eyes as she remembered her daughter who had left her. "Zahra where's brother? She was home alone."

"You just calm down! Zahra is in my house. Now you better rest and think nothing of it."

Larissa complied and immediately closed her eyes. Iqbal also laid down his body in one of the empty beds to accompany Larissa.
