Three days Larissa was treated at the puskesmas, as long as Hamzah faithfully accompanied without budging. He never told his wife about the incident on the boat that nearly cost him his life. He didn't want his wife to worry about it.
Larissa felt bored and continued to whine want to go home. But what can Hamzah do to comply with his wishes if the doctor has not allowed to go home.
Today is the fifth day since Larissa entered the health center, but she has not been allowed to go home, even though she feels her body is much healthier.
"So, when am I allowed to go home, ma'am?" larissa asked after the nurse had checked on her that morning.
"We wait for what the doctor says, yes!" the nurse was friendly.
"Why wait for a doctor, huh? am I not healthy? Why not just now?" tanyanya.
The nurse smiled and was not angry at Larissa's annoyance. He knew that the patient in front of him was tired of being in the health center, or maybe because he often saw such things.
"We're sorry, ma'am! This has become our policy," he said, a friendly smile was not separated from his lips.
Larissa let out a lethargic sigh hearing the answer the nurse gave. If this is the case, he can only wait and wait.
Meanwhile Hamzah who had seen the interaction between Larissa and the nurse from behind the door could only help laughing at the expression of annoyance of the wife. "Basic! Never changed before. Just a little patience never will!."
He entered the room as soon as the nurse finished her task and passed.
"What did the nurse say? Are you allowed to go home now?" tanyanya mince words while throwing her body on the chair, even though she heard all their talk.
Larissa grew increasingly upset at hearing the question her husband asked her. "let alone? You must have heard it yourself, right?" lipspap.
Hamzah laughed more and more at the expression of his wife's annoyance. "Well, have patience with me? At the very least also the doctor here," he said without burden.
Larissa looked at her husband with a hopeful look "If the doctor won't let me go home how?."
Hearing Hamzah's wife's question could only raise her shoulders. "Yes, how else. Let's wait until the doctor lets."
"By the way you are free! never offer a happy solution."
Hamzah kept silent and let the wife in her own vexation.
Time after time passed, but what was awaited had not yet revealed the nose. Making Larissa hope to be able to go home today began to fade.
Amidst the sudden despair the door opened from the outside. Behind it appeared a doctor and several interns.
Seeing the appearance of the doctor Larissa smiled happily. His hope of returning home today that had been extinguished now reappeared.
"Good morning. How are you today?" ask the doctor for a chat.
"I feel so good, Doc. So, when can I go home?" he said without wanting to mince words, directly on the main point that he wanted to know earlier.
Hamzah who stepped aside to make room when the doctor approached his wife could only shake his head at the wife's impatience.
The doctor smiled kindly at Larissa's question which was actually commonly asked by all patients but looked very impatient from the way she said. "We'll do a quick check, yeah!" said it.
Larissa again sighed listlessly at the doctor's words. There was nothing he could do but surrender and let the doctor do his job.
The doctor removed the medical equipment and immediately checked Larissa carefully. Starting from the pulse, blood pressure, and also the scars of the operation.
"Your condition has stabilized, the reddish color on your breasts yesterday also began to fade" said the doctor after finishing with a series of examinations.
The doctor laughed at the patient's impatience. "We'll see the report first!."
The nurse provided a file for Larissa's health report. The doctor read the results carefully. And when he finished he said, "The results of the report show that your condition is getting better. So today you're allowed to go home."
"Yes!" pekik Larissa glee. Her hope of getting home today has come true. "Thank you very much, Doc" he said.
The doctor smiled looking at Larissa's expression of excitement. "Together!" the answer.
The doctor and crew passed away in Larissa's room. While Larissa herself immediately took care of all her belongings assisted by Hamzah.
The nurse re-entered Larissa's hospital room as she was busily bustling. "I'm sorry to interrupt, I took off the infusion needle first so you can freely move," he said.
Larissa stopped her busyness and sat on the edge of the bed, letting the nurse do her job.
The nurse does her job. And after all he said, "Later before you go home you go to the administration near the emergency room for the signing of the patient's return files."
Larissa nodded, the nurse left Larissa's room.
After making the move, Larissa went to the administration as the nurse said she was helped by Hamzah.
"Excuse me, ma'am, I want to go home today. He said there were files that I had to sign before I went home" Larissa told one of the officers.
"Oh yeah, what's your name?,"
"Laissa."
Officers searched for files with Larissa's name among the heaps of files on her desk. And after meeting him he thrust it into Larissa.
Larissa took the pen and signed all the files in front of her. And when he was done he got up immediately, but was immediately prevented by the officer."
Larissa had to sit back in her place. "Is there anything I have signed again, ma'am?" tanyakanya.
"No, all files that need to be signed are done."
"Then why is mom still holding me here if there's nothing I need to sign anymore?" tanyanya.
The officer smiled kindly in response to Larissa's annoyance. "It's true that there are no files that need to be signed again, but we want to give some advice that you should do while at home. Besides, there are some medications you should take later."
Larissa let out a weak sigh, forced to be patient a little more to go home soon.
Officers gave instructions on what to do and should not be done by Larissa while at home. He also gave very boring advice to listen to.
Larissa listened as the wind passed by. Occasionally he nodded and shook his head as the officer asked."
"So that's what you should pay attention to at home later" he said at the end of his lengthy advice. "From here is there anything you want to ask?."
Larissa shook her head quickly for all to finish quickly. "No, ma'am, nothing!."
"Alright, then please take the medicine at the pharmacy over there," proffering the prescription of the medicine.
Larissa took the recipe and segwra went to the pharmacy. And when it's all over, he's coming home.
Along the way home Larissa's face was decorated with a smile of happiness, imagined if tonight he would go back to sleep on his soft bed.
