When Love Should Determine

When Love Should Determine
Chapter 61

Everyone will definitely try to change himself for the better in the future, also trying to repair relationships that had broken. Connect with those we care about.

But it seems that this does not apply to Larissa's relationship with Bu Ani. Because until this moment their relationship is still tenuous, even arguably getting worse every day.

All of that is due to the attitude of Bu Ani as an older party, who likes to exaggerate problems. If there is even a little mistake that Larissa made, there will be no mercy for her. He would use that mistake to humiliate her in public.

Then on the other hand there is her husband, Hamzah as a younger person but has a stubborn nature, does not want to budge and his unpredictable temperament. Making the word peace is hard to come by. In fact, often Larissa has a dilemma between choosing her husband or mother because of the attitude of both.

Like that day, it was still morning. Larissa went to take her daughter to school as usual. But only a few minutes he arrived there, Hamzah had followed him to school as well.

Hamzah's eyebrows look intertwined. The hardened jaw held back the anger that at any moment was ready to explode. Hands firmly clenched beside his body. And the one thing that made Larissa shudder was fear, the look of her sharp eyes, as sharp as an eagle hunting its prey.

Looking at the expression and gawd that her husband showed, Larissa could guess that something was amiss. "What's up, Entik? Why did you come after me here?."

Without answering his wife's questions or what happened Hamzah told him to go home immediately. "Go home quickly, and see for yourself what your mother did!."

Hearing her husband's words, Larissa's heart grew increasingly tight. 'Oh my God, is there any problem with this? Why does my husband call me mother? What the hell's going on?."

Not wanting to be haunted by prolonged misgivings, Larissa immediately spurred the pace of her vehicle back home after previously leaving her daughter to the teacher's mother. "Mom, sorry! I took my daughter. I have important business. I'll be back before school."

The distance from school to home is pretty close. It only takes fifteen minutes by motorbike. But Larissa only took less than ten minutes to get home so fast he drove forward the vehicle. No matter the scolding of people on the road because of the way to drive that seemed careless, especially the road he passed was a relatively narrow village road. All he had in mind right now was to get home and see what was happening.

Larissa immediately parked her motorcycle in the front yard upon arrival at home. Hamzah came shortly after.

How surprised Larissa was as she set foot in front of the door. Looks like some of his stuff is scattered there. Even a sandal belonging to his daughter almost hit his head if he did not immediately dodge when Bu Ani threw the item.

"What's this, Mom? Why are you throwing my stuff out?" ask Larissa for confusion.

Bu Ani only looked at Larissa and then again threw away Larissa's belongings. "Keep your things out of this room if you don't want me to throw them away. I'll use this room" he said coldly.

After throwing things that belong to Larissa, Bu Ani went back into her room. But when he was in front of the door, he turned to face Larissa, "If you don't like my attitude, you can leave this house!."

Larissa was silent, without saying anything else she rushed to pick up the items and move them elsewhere. Yes, there was nothing he could do at this moment other than just succumbing and receiving all the treatment of the mother. Only the teardrops were able to describe how much his heart ached back then.

After cleaning up all his scattered goods, Larissa rushed to the buyer in front who had been waiting for him since. Do not forget the removal of tears that are still left. "Sorry wait a long time. What would you like to order?" he asked, throwing his body on a plastic chair and preparing to serve the buyer.

With a deft snarl Larissa made the order of the buyer. He had already memorized what his taste was because the buyer was a schoolboy, one of his loyal customers.

When Larissa was making her order, the eyes of the buyer repeatedly looked at Bu Ani who was peeling the fruit not far from where Larissa served the buyer.

Seeing the repeated movements of the buyer, Larissa was moved to ask, "What's the matter, ma'am? Is something wrong?."

At first the buyer seemed hesitant to answer Larissa's question. But he finally expressed his heart as well. "Em..sorry, madam! Isn't that her birth mother Larissa?."

At first glance Larissa turned towards the mother and nodded her assent. "Yes, that's my real mother."

"What exactly is the same as mbak? I'm not just his son!" chirped again.

Larissa only responded to the buyer's remarks by sharing a beautiful smile, then chose to continue making the buyer's order. He did not want to comment anything to respond to his words, worried that his words caused new problems.

Larissa just remembered if when she arrived at the house coincided with the arrival of the buyer. That's why the buyer witnessed the incident earlier. Events that should not be seen by others.

This is one reason why Larissa chose to remain silent and accept every treatment of her mother. He is very embarrassed if there are people who gossip about the bad relationship between himself and his mother.

It's not that Larissa doesn't want to fix their relationship. He tried many times and tried to give up to take the heart of his mother. But in fact, that doesn't change anything.

It is ironic to see the relationship between the two. They are a mother and child, who should protect and love each other. But this is actually what happened. Sometimes Larissa thinks that the mother's treatment is a form of dissatisfaction with her biological father.

After serving the buyer, Larissa rushed to her husband in the kitchen who was making pentols. He wanted to ask the beginning of this incident. "Entik, how was the beginning? Why are you so angry?."

Hamzah turned to Larissa and raised his shoulders. "I don't know why either. I was arranging the sale in front, knowing your mother came and immediately got angry, then threw away our things as you saw earlier." he replied, "I myself am still confused by your mother's attitude."

Larissa breathed a heavy sigh. "Easy! We don't have to talk about this anymore. We better focus on serving the buyer."

After saying so Larissa returned again to the front to serve the buyer because it happened that there were other buyers coming. He does not want to get too late in his problems and forget his future.

For now it seems that Larissa's choice to forget the turmoil was the right decision. And not only that, turning sadness into a passion to work hard is one thing that deserves a thumbs up. Hopefully one day there will be a miracle that can change Larissa's relationship with her mother towards a better one.
