When Love Should Determine

When Love Should Determine
Chapter 104

Larissa is drowning in anger and disappointment. Her heart was now only filled with hatred and demdam, thus making her dare to be rude to her own husband. And even started playing with fire behind her.

"Larissa, at this hour, where are you going?" asked Hamzah one morning. His tone sounded ordinary.

Instead of answering well anyway, Larissa actually said very ketus. "Go!" answer's short.

"Yes, I know, but where are you going?."

"Where is that none of your business! You take care of your own business."

Hamzah's emotions were provoked when he heard Larissa's tone that was very disrespectful to him, but he tried to control himself by closing his eyes for a moment. "You're still my wife, Larissa. I deserve to know where you're going."

"Wife?," a cynical smile offended on the lips. "What kind of wife is always wrong in the eyes of her husband when he never makes a mistake? What kind of wife never gets the trust of her own husband? Is that the value of a wife in your eyes?."

Hamzah turned his face away, his eyes closed with lips clenched. He felt slapped by his wife's words.

"I'm just your wife on paper. Because you didn't really make me your wife!."

Most of Larissa's words were true, and Hamzah admitted his mistake. But because his speech tone is very brash makes Hamzah ignited emotions. As much as possible he dampened those emotions by warning his wife. "Please don't provoke my anger, Larissa. It's still morning, I don't want to start the day with a fight with you. We're not selling today anyway? I've been done with it since!."

Although Hamzah had warned him in a good way, Larissa ignored him. It's even more slender than before. "No, I'm tired! Who told you to make it?I can do it myself!" he replied.

"If you're tired, why didn't you say that earlier? I don't have to bother arranging the merchandise if I know. Besides, why did I take you to the market today if it's not for sale?."

"Like it I don't want to sell anything! If you don't want to, you can get yourself a job."

Emotions Hamzah has arrived to be changed to see his wife's insolence. But he kept trying to stifle his anger. "Larissa, watch your talk!. Please be a little more polite when you talk to me. I'm your husband!."

Instead of realizing the mistake and apologizing, Larissa challenged Hamzah. "Why? dislike? Wanna mad? Come here hit me if you dare!," his hand pointed towards his own face as if challenging to hit.

Hamzah's anger bubbled. His eyes glared red with tightly clenched hands. He does not know when he will be strong to hold emotions longer, especially he is a grumpy. But as hard as he could he tried to hold it because he did not want to hurt his own wife."

Seeing her husband's angry expression instead of being afraid and apologizing, Larissa deliberately doused kerosene over the embers of Hamzah's anger. "Why just shut up? Not brave? Though I've already invited you, you know," a sneering sardonic smile with both hands folded in front of the chest. "Still eat from the sweat of the wife alone belagu!."

"Raise!!!." Explode the anger of Hamzah. Larissa's last words successfully broke her defenses. His hands floated in the air towards Larissa's face. But just before his hand touched his cheek, he stopped.

Larissa closed her eyes when she saw her husband's hand held up, feeling a little afraid of her husband's anger. But when she realized her husband's hand had stopped, she opened her eyes again. "Why stop? Come here hit!," his hand held Hamzah's hand and was smacked into his own face.

"Yes, I'm not in my right mind!" Larissa shouted as well. Her crying broke instantly. "I'm not sane because I was willing to be your wife" her finger pointed at her husband's face.

Hamza turned his back to his wife. His eyes closed withstanding the outpouring of anger. Larissa's words hurt her pride so much "Why are you saying that? Didn't you realize that your words hurt me so much?" she sounded raucous as she said that.

"If you're hurt by what I say, why don't you just divorce me?."

"That's impossible! Didn't you yourself say, if we get divorced, then our son will be the victim, and I don't want that to happen. Then why are you demanding a divorce from me now? Can't we fix our marriage?."

"Why defend marriage when we only hurt each other? don't you realize that kids get hurt more when they see their parents fighting?."

"I know it!," turned to face his wife again. "Because give me one more chance to fix everything. I promise you, I won't let you down again" grabbed Larissa's fingers.

Larissa pulled her hand back from her husband's grasp. "Don't make a promise if you can't keep up" footsteps walked back away from him. "It's too late, Entik! We can't fix it anymore."

"But why?" cried Hamzah in frustration.

"Because I can't afford marriage without mutual trust" he rubbed tears on his cheeks. "Do you know, when a relationship without mutual trust, then the relationship will be more fragile than the thread. And when the thread is hit by a storm, it breaks easily."

Hamza fell down before his wife. His head lowered hearing the tears, regretting all his stupidity all this time. "I'm sorry, Larissa. Please give me one more chance."

"I'm sorry, Entik, I can't. I'm sticking to my decision to ask you to divorce me."

"No!," suddenly rose from his position and refused his wife's request unequivocally. "I'm not going to divorce you."

"Take me off, Entik! Don't torture me with this relationship."

Hamzah closed his eyes, determined not to be affected by Larissa's tears. "Remember these words of mine, Larissa, whenever I will never divorce you!." After saying that he turned around and left his wife.

Larissa screamed hysterically at the passing of her husband. "You're evil, Entik! you can torture me this way. I hate you, hate it!."

Hamzah ignored Larissa's cries in the back and continued to move forward. He did not want to weaken himself when he saw his tears.

Meanwhile, Larissa grew hysterical when she saw her husband not one bit turn to her. "Didn't you hear me, Entik, I hate you, hate, hate!!!." Throw everything nearby at Hamzah.

Larissa's tears poured out as if she was the one who was the most injured here. He who deliberately hurt Hamzah heart earlier, but even he who felt hurt. He never realized that he was as guilty as Hamzah.
