Since that debate, Hamzah seemed to wage a cold war with Larissa. He refused to talk to Larissa. He will only speak when it is necessary, it is only a word or two.
Larissa herself is increasingly worried and restless. On one side was her mother and sister, her family, and on the other was Hamzah, her husband. He is confused as to what to decide. Plus the brother also never showed the intention to express his intention to borrow money, even though if he did, then Larissa could persuade Hamzah to give a loan.
Because she could not bear the cold attitude of her husband, Larissa finally decided to sell the necklace even without the consent of her mother. He prefers to obey Hamzah's wishes rather than obey his mother's request.he just wants to be a wife who obeys the husband by obeying the wishes of the husband. He just hoped that his mother would understand his situation.
Larissa went to a jewelry store to sell the necklace. And he came home with a few hundred thousand pieces of money from selling his necklace.
Upon arrival at the house Larissa told her mother that she had sold the necklace. Of course, the mother was angry and disappointed to see Larissa do what she had forbidden. But he did not show his anger in front of Larissa. But Larissa could understand her mother's anger.
In the afternoon Larissa just handed the money to Hamzah. Because he just came home to sea this afternoon. " Yank, this is the money from the sale of my necklace. Buy the motorcycle you wanted yesterday".
Hamzah looked surprised when Larissa offered the money. "What about mom? did he agree that you sold him?."
"I told my mom about this. He was angry when he found out. But you take it easy, don't think about mom. Let me persuade him!."
Hamzah looked happy, his eyes were so happy. "Thank you so much because we wanted to fulfill my wish. I promise, I'll change the necklace you're selling" he said, clutching Larissa's body.
"Together, Yank. I'm happy to see you happy" Larissa replied, shaking off a forced smile.
Hamzah also rushed out to meet his friend who sold motorcycles yesterday. Not long after he returned to riding a motorcycle that had long been his dream.
Larissa immediately came out when she heard the roar of the motor. A sport bike was parked in front of the house. The bike is not new, but it still looks good and comfortable to drive.
Hamzah got off the bike and showed off the key to Larissa. "Look, baby! It's our motor."
Larissa smiled looking at the happiness that radiated from her husband's face.
"Now you're changing clothes. I want to make sure you take a walk. All of you feel the new bike we bought" he continued.
Larissa nodded her head. He rushed into the room and changed his clothes. Then she approached her husband who was looking at the new motorbike in his purchase.
"So we're out now?" larissa said, patting Hamzah on the shoulder.
Hamzah gasped slightly as Larissa patted his shoulder. Maybe he was too serious when he looked at the bike. "Eh, yes, so. Are you ready?" I asked a little nervous.
"It's over!" answer Larissa briefly.
"Then we leave now!."
Larissa nodded her head in response. He climbed on the motorbike. Then she wrapped her arms around her husband's waist and they sauntered with her new motorbike.
The person then entered his room located next to Larissa's room. And that person is Iqbal, Larissa's half-sister.
It seems like the decision taken by Larissa was the wrong one. Because after this a very big storm will shake his household.
...****************...
After learning that Hamzah had bought a motorcycle, Iqbal's attitude changed. He became cold and seemed haughty. It even looks ogah-ogahan when going to go to sea.
The highlight was that day. It was almost dawn, but Iqbal did not signal to leave immediately. Hamzah also took the initiative to ask, "Sister, when do we go to sea? It's coming in at dawn soon."
"I saw the weather at sea first. Later if it's possible to go to sea I'll catch up with you at home!" answer Iqbal, and then he immediately went out of the house.
Hamzah nodded his head, believing Iqbal's words. At the time, the weather was a little windy.
Hamzah waited for Iqbal's arrival with anxious hopes, but until the morning before Iqbal did not return to follow him. He also thought that today was not going to sea.
Iqbal's wife returned home shortly. He was angry because Hamzah did not come to the sea. Iqbal was waiting for him there.
Hamzah was surprised, he was confused how Iqbal's wife could say that. Though it was clear Iqbal said that he would pick up if the circumstances allow to go to sea.
Iqbal did it intentionally. He is still upset that Hamzah prefers to buy a motorcycle rather than give him a loan. Even if it was not because he wanted to take her to sea, there was no way Hamzah could afford it.
Lebaran stayed for a while, but Hamzah rarely went to sea due to the attitude of his sister-in-law. Larissa was made dizzy because the money in the wallet was only one thousand and five hundred silver. He doesn't even know what to open up to later.
Larissa also turned the brain, he saw there were two pieces of fried fish leftover sahur earlier in the food cabinet. He then cooked rice, rice left over from his wedding yesterday. Then he shook back the rest of the fried fish earlier and made sambal petis as a complement.
After everything was ready, Larissa also served the food on the mat. Because they don't have a dining table.
The Maghrib prayer rumbled, and they began to break their fast. "I'm sorry, Yank. Today I can only cook this. This is the fried fish leftover from sahur earlier that I reheated. I don't have the money to make better food. The money in the wallet is only one thousand and five hundred" Larissa said.
Hamzah smiled faintly at Larissa's speech. "It's okay, Yank. I'll eat whatever you cook. This is more than enough for me!."
"Why is our life like this, yank. We are still newlyweds. But it has been given trials like this. Even the money to eat is not there" Larissa said with tears in her eyes.
"Let today be a reminder of when we succeed. That we have also experienced not being able to eat because we do not have money. Even we can show our grandchildren later, if we start all from zero, really from zero!" hamzah answered, calming his wife's day.
"You don't have to worry anymore. Later I will try to come with my friend to go to sea. He just came" he continued.
Larissa nodded her head. They continued eating without speaking.
