When Love Should Determine

When Love Should Determine
Chapter 29

Inevitably Larissa must remain in surgery. I don't know where the money is to pay for the operation later. The most important thing now is to save the life of the baby in the womb.

Larissa has been struggling during this pregnancy. He also had contractions for three days and four nights. He does not want to risk losing a child a second time, especially at the last moment like this just because of cost problems.

The ambulance from the hospital arrived. The midwife deliberately used this car to get to the hospital faster. Moreover, the problem faced is very serious. Too late a little, then the life of the stakes.

It was Friday. Exactly adzan dhuhur reverberated, Larissa to the hospital in the city. He was immediately taken to the ER room to get treatment.

After a long period of inspection, Larissa was transferred to the delivery room. There he was given two pills that did not know what their efficacy was. And after that, he was left.

After a long wait, no officers returned. Larissa waited anxiously. She was worried that the baby would not be helped.

The door opened, a nurse came in. Larissa asked, "Bak, sorry. I'd like to ask. Why haven't I been operated on? She said my baby had to be removed by surgery."

The nurse smiled at Larissa's question. "You don't need surgery, ma'am. Your condition still allows you to give birth normally. The drug that the doctor gave was a contraction stimulant drug, so that the opening can take place quickly. Now your opening has shown progress. It's open four" the nurse explained at length.

Larissa smiled relieved to hear the nurse's statement earlier. At least her dream of giving birth normally would be realized. Moreover, it will also not be confused with operating costs which are of course very expensive.

The nurse cleaned up all her equipment and walked out of the room after she finished checking.

The pain Larissa experienced was getting stronger. He went back to the bathroom because he wanted to poop. Actually not because of urination, but the baby in his stomach who continues to urge wants to get out immediately. So he felt like he wanted to pee.

Larissa turned over on the bed. He went back and forth to change his sleeping position so much the pain he felt. Even he shed tears because he was not strong with the pain.

Suddenly something came out from between his legs. That thing is mucus mixed with blood. So much blood he let out. Even the clothes he was wearing had changed color like blood.

Larissa was screaming in pain. Simultaneously, his body shivered in coldness. Because of the cold, he felt like he had hypothermia.

Larissa asks Hamzah to turn off the room AC. He thought the cold was felt because of the AC that was on.

Hamzah complied with his wife's request. He took the AC remote located on the nightstand, not far from Larissa's bed.

Hamzah scratching his head. Because at that time the AC was dead, while Larissa continued to shiver and complain of cold.

Hamzah was worried and frightened to see his wife's condition. Never had he seen Larissa in this kind of pain. He also covered Larissa's body so as not to get cold again.

Not just one, Hamzah even used three layers of blankets at once to warm his wife's body. But Larissa still shivered in the cold.

Hamzah was increasingly frightened to see his wife's condition. Without thinking for a long time, he also clutched the body of the wife to channel warmth from inside her body. Even he even let out tears because he did not have the heart to see the condition of the wife.

Apparently this action of Hamzah is an appropriate action. Larissa no longer shivered in the cold. Even though the pain is not reduced.

Not long after, the door opened again. Bu Ani and Iqbal entered the room to see Larissa's condition.

So worried, Iqbal did not even have time to change clothes first. He did not even have time to clean up the net he was repairing, lying just like that.

Bu Ani and Iqbal walked over to Larissa's bed. Bu Ani shed tears, unable to see the condition of her son who was in pain, struggling to give birth.

Larissa's eyes were on her sister. An apology was uttered from his lips. "Sister, forgive all my mistakes. Please pray for me to be given the ease to give birth" she said sincerely.

Iqbal shed tears at the heartfelt apology of his half-brother. "So I've forgiven all your mistakes. I also pray that God will make it easy for you. Brother really can't bear to see you like this" he said as he rubbed Larissa's head gently.

"Thank you, brother!."

Iqbal wiped his tears. This time his eyes turned to his mother. He asked her to step away from Larissa's bed. "Mother, try to find a loan on anyone. Let's just operate larissa. I can't bear to see his condition."

"Borrow money to whom, son? I'm confused now" replied the mother.

"No, Ma. I don't want to be operated. I want to give birth normally" Larissa refused quickly. Although Iqbal and his mother spoke in whispers, Larissa could still hear them.

The door is back open. This time a doctor and a nurse came in. The nurse asked everyone to get out of the room because the doctor would check.

Hamzah, Iqbal, and Bu Ani also left the room. Larissa was alone there with the doctor and his nurse.

The doctor opened Larissa twice. Determine how far the development of the opening of the birth canal. Larissa is open seven. Just a little more, and she'll be ready to give birth.

The doctor said, "The opening is good, it's open seven now. Just a little more. But remember, don't push before I say. Worried that his birth canal's ripped."

"But, doc. My baby kept pressing wanting to get out. I tried not to push but I couldn't" Larissa replied.

"I know!. The baby will indeed continue to press like that and force to come out. That's his natural instinct" said the doctor. "But I remind you again. Never push before your opening is complete. When you force it, it gets harder."

"Then what should I do, doc?."

"Try taking a breath and throwing it back out when you feel your baby pressing. Try as much as possible not to push."

"Good, doc!. I'll do the doctor's advice."

"I'll excuse you then. I'll be back here later. I want to check out the other patients first."

"Okay, doc, thank you!."

The doctor and nurse came out of the room. Now it is Larissa herself. Completely alone, with the pain becoming more and more.
