When Love Should Determine

When Love Should Determine
Chapter 124

Larissa asked the doctor to call her husband because he did not want to be alone in the room with all the pain he felt. Hamzah did not come for long.

Larissa complained of all the pain she felt in her husband's chest, one of the parts of Hamzah's body that had always been the most comfortable place for her.

Hamzah clenched his wife's body and stroked her hair gently, as if transferring new energy for her. "Don't cry! Rest assured that you can get through it."

"But this hurts so much, Entik! I'm not strong."

"You've experienced more pain than this, and you can get through it. You can get through it now, too."

Larissa was silent, wiping away the tears that fell on the cheek. Presumably her husband's words were able to make her a little calm. "My company is here. I can't stand this pain myself."

Hamzah nodded. "I will keep you company. We will fight together for the sake of our hearts. Now lie down!."

Larissa obeyed her husband's orders by laying her body back down. Her hand would not be separated from her husband's grasp as if afraid of losing the source of strength.

The storm of contraction came back. Larissa screamed in pain. "Entik, sick! I'm not strong anymore" tears came back. He felt his pelvic area being pushed by a hard object and it was very painful.

"Don't say it like that, rest assured that you can!" hamzah said repeating his words earlier to eliminate distrust in his wife. "Please say something and ask God for strength."

"Astaghfirullahal....."

"Astagfirullahah...."

Larissa also said istighfar like her husband as if her words became a suggestion for him.

Slowly the pain disappeared. Larissa breathed a sigh of relief. But soon the storm of pain came and hit the calm that Larissa just felt.

Hamzah clasped his wife's hand firmly, as if he felt the pain. The other hand stroked the wife's head to channel strength as her lips continued to lead her to say the phrase istighfar.

The door opened again, this time a laboratory worker entered. By wearing all-enclosed clothes and also a mask in the mouth in accordance with standard health protocols, want to do a swab test against Larissa.

Hamzah took off his hand and stepped aside for a moment to make room for the lab worker to do his job.

A very thin device was inserted into Larissa's nose to take the mucus in it as a laboratory test sample. And after all, he came back out.

Larissa complains, in the midst of pain like this even performed tests that are very strange according to him. But how else, covid-19 that plague with ferocity makes all this forced to do in order to prevent its spread. And inevitably he had to go through it.

Not long after another officer pushed his cage and led him to the junkyard. And although he did not know what the purpose between doing jungeent against him with the labor to be faced, he still agreed to do it. After it was over, he was returned to the room.

Larissa again complained, why has not been taken action against him. Though the contractions he felt were getting stronger as time went on.

The door opened again, the doctor and two nurses entered. Larissa smiled with relief and thought that the doctor would take action against her immediately.

Larissa's heart melos, sad and disappointed. But the feeling is very natural, which woman will not be sad to see another woman can give birth so easily, even though she only briefly felt the pain of contractions. While she who has experienced contractions since five hours ago has not given birth.

"Oh Allah, make it easy for me like that woman" he said expectantly.

The dawn of Azan reverberates, awakening the sleeping souls. Hamzah offered his wife a meal, and she looked very tired.

Larissa agreed and accepted a bribe from her husband. But only a few mouthfuls he again refused as the coming contractions that hit his body again. He only asked for warm tea to make his body relax a little.

The officer pushed his cage out of the room. This time he was taken to the hospital where he was on the 2nd floor. A room that is transformed into an impact isolation room from covid-19. And they left her alone with her husband.

In the morning, the sun shamed, warming millions of the cold inhabitants of the earth.

Not so with Larissa. She has not yet given birth to a child in her womb even though the day has changed. And even when the sun came back to her strife, she had not yet given birth.

Larissa complained. "O Allah, how long shall I endure this pain? Make it easy for me, O God," he hoped.

His hope was beginning to be heard by Allah. Seen from the opening of Larissa which suddenly became the opening nine.

The opening was followed by a blow of increasingly agonizing pain, as if all the pain in the world was inflicted on him.

Larissa squealed, groaning in order to endure the storm of pain. Unconsciously her fingernails stuck in Hamzah's arm to make her husband's arm bleed.

Hamzah grimaced in pain, but he let his wife do what would calm him down even if it meant that he had to be hurt and bleed like now. He realized the pain was not comparable to the pain his wife felt.

Suddenly from the birth canal Larissa came out of water mixed with blood, so much blood came out that her clothes were originally blue to be red instantly. Turns out it was a ruptured larissa.

A doctor and a nurse prepared to perform labor assistance against him. He began to give instructions for breathing and straining.

Larissa follows the instructions given to start straining when contractions begin to come. But the baby jabang who continues to be urgent and impatient to get out makes it able to concentrate with the instructions given.

The first experiment failed, the doctor told Larissa to adjust her breathing and wait for the next contraction.

The second experiment was done, Larissa strained with all her might. The doctor encouraged her to be strong. "Come, ma'am, a little more. Look, the baby's head is starting to look." But Larissa was out of breath, until the second experiment failed again.

Hamzah wiped the sweat on his wife's forehead while giving her encouragement. "Hold on, Encus, a little more of our children will be born."

The next contraction comes back, the doctor gives instructions to push back. But Larissa, who had been in pain since twelvepm, was running out of energy.

The position of the baby's head is squeezed in the birth canal. The doctor had to perform a little surgery there and help encourage him to save the baby.

The voice of adzan magrib reverberated, along with the outbreak of the cry of the newborn baby into the world. Larissa smiled happily looking at the handsome face of the child. But the next second he fell limp.
