When Love Should Determine
Chapter 137

As time went by, Zahra became a teenager, which meant that there were also problems that Larissa had to face.

Larissa was often angry because Zahra did not want to pray, one of the obligations of a Muslim. Hamzah advised not to be too pushy and try to approach emotionally.

For a moment Larissa thought, looking for a way to overcome it. Suddenly an idea came to mind. "I know what I have to do!" he said while flicking his fingers.

Larissa got up and walked over to her daughter who was also relaxing while watching television in the living room.

"Well, boy?" ask Larissa for a little chat. The body weight was lowered right beside his daughter.

"Again watching cartoons, ma'am" replied Zahra. He just glanced at his mother and refocused on the movie he was watching.

"Seriously watch it? Want to guess with mom? Mumpung mom has a lot of free time."

"You, mom!." Zahra corrected her sitting position to face her mother.

Larissa's speech was in fact able to distract her son from the television screen. Since childhood, he really likes to play guessing, especially with his mother.

Larissa smiled at how enthusiastic Zahra was. "Before we start guessing, please get me a glass of water."

Zahra frowned at her mother's request. "For what, ma'am?" tanyanya's confused.

"Easy! Just do what you tell me. You'll know for sure" Larissa replied in mystery.

Without asking much more Zahra immediately took a glass of water as her mother had instructed. "Here, mom!" he said while giving a glass of water to his mother.

Larissa received the glass from her son's hand. "Thank you!" said it. "Now sit here again" patted the empty spot beside his right.

Zahra threw the body at the temoat her mother had appointed. Larissa put the glass filled with water that her daughter was thrust on the floor. You ready now?."

Zahra nodded. "Ready, mom! I can't wait to get started."

Larissa smiled at the enthusiasm of her daughter. "Good! Now I want to ask, how many pillars of Islam are there?."

"There's five, ma'am!."

"You memorized no, all the rules?."

"Make dong, ma'am. Didn't cook it memorized? Lose dong same sister" replied Zahra jumawa.

Larissa smiled at her son's words. "Now try to mention them one by one. I want to hear it!."

Zahra also mentioned all the pillars of Islam that he had memorized out of his head since he was sitting on the bench of kindergarten in accordance with the order.

"Good!" praise Larissa for the accuracy of her daughter's answer. "Now look at this glass!" pointing towards the glass he placed on the floor earlier.

Zahra turned her gaze toward the glass her mother pointed at. "Why the glass, ma'am?" tanyanya did not understand.

Larissa did not answer her daughter's question and instead asked back. A smile never leaves your lips. "Try to show mom how people hold a glass?."

Zahra was more confused by her mother's question, but she still did what she was told. "How else, ma'am? of course like this "he replied, holding a glass with all five fingers.

Larissa smiled again. "Do you know, the way people hold glasses is like people practice the pillars of Islam."

"I mean mother?" zahra asked, still not understanding the meaning of his mother's words.

With gentleness, Larissa explained one by one the meaning of all the questions. "Look at our fingers, there are five hands, right? This is the same as the five pillars of Islam as well, while this glass is our religion, the religion of Islam. People are said to be Muslims if he does all the pillars of Islam."

"Some of them may not be done, and some must be done."

For a moment Larissa paused her speech, letting her daughter think about her words. While Zahra listened to her mother's explanation carefully while continuing to hold the glass in her hand.

"Haji," Zahra replied briefly.

Larissa smiled at her daughter's answer. "Go for Hajj for people who are able," corrects his son's answer. "That means people who cannot afford to be allowed not to do it. He is said to be a capable man not only because he is rich and a lot of money, but also physically and mentally capable."

"Well, since it is permissible not to do so, now you take your little finger off the glass you are holding."

Zahra did what her mother told her to do, removing the little finger grip from the glass in her hand.

"Did that glass fall off after you took your little finger off it."

Zahra shook her head. "No, ma'am."

"Hajj can not be done if we have not been able, and it will not change our identity as Muslims. And so is that glass. Even if you take your little finger off of it, the glass stays firmly in your hand.

Zahra mangosteen, understand with the explanation of his mother.

After confirming that her daughter had understood, Larissa again asked the question. "Now mention the fourth pillar of Islam?."

"Fasting in Ramadan."

Larissa smiled. "Fasting in Ramadan is mandatory, but there are some people who are allowed not to. Among them, pregnant and lactating women, women who are coming months, people who are very sick where if he fasts it is feared that it will worsen the disease. And those who are traveling far away with the purpose of establishing the religion of God or so-called travelers. All of them are allowed not to do Ramadan fasting, but still, they must replace it by fasting in another month or by paying a fine in accordance with Islamic provisions."

"Just like that, since it may not be done, you remove your ring finger from the glass."

Zahra did what her mother told her to. "It didn't fall, ma'am" he said.

"You know why?" ask Larissa. This time he let his daughter understand it for herself.

"Because breaking it does not mean changing our identity, like a glass that remains firm even though we take off the ring finger from it" said Zahra, answering as his mother said.

"One hundred to you" praised Larissa for the reply her daughter gave while clapping her hands.

"Well, now mention the third pillar of Islam?."

"Talks."

"Zakat. like the fast of Ramadan, zakat can not be done by some people, such as poor people, servants of danger, and slaves. They are called ibn Sabil, and they are precisely the ones who are entitled to receive zakat."

"Because it may not be done, then remove your middle finger from the glass you are holding."

"No falling, ma'am" Zahra replied after doing her mother's orders.

"Do you know why?" ask Larissa. repeating the same question after giving an explanation.

"Know, mom!" replied Zahra sure.

"Mother's son is a pinter!" puji Larissa is back. Zahra smiled happily as she continued to get compliments from her mother.

"Now mention the second and first pillars of Islam."

"Speaking prayers and mentioning two sentences of shahadah."

Unlike the previous, this time Larissa immediately asked her daughter to remove one of the fingers that were still left in the glass's grip without giving explanation first.

Zahra tried to do her mother's orders but she had a little trouble. All that was left of his grasp was his index finger and thumb. He could have taken one of them off without making the glass fall.

Larissa chuckled to see her troubled daughter do her bidding. "What's wrong?" tanyakanya.
