When Love Should Determine

When Love Should Determine
Chapter 77

Larissa decides to forget the past and rise from the slump. He realized that there was a little boy who still needed him. And for that he must heal first.

The first step Larissa did was to convince her husband to take her to the hospital again.

Talking about convincing her husband keeps Larissa's memory coming back before she goes to the hospital with Hamzah for the first time. At that time her husband strongly opposed her wishes to make Larissa desperate and decided to follow her father who was gone.

Larissa's grim cry was able to shed her husband's hard heart. But Larissa brushed off her husband because she was already disappointed. "Let go! I'd better just die. Don't you care about me anymore."

"Who said I don't care? I'm also very worried about your health."

"lik! You're such a big liar, "a bitter smile was etched on Larissa's lips. "You don't really want me to go to the hospital, do you?."

Hamzah remained silent, not answering his wife's question. Either he did not have an answer or did not intentionally answer the question.

Seeing the silence of the husband makes Larissa even more inflamed. "Why are you just quiet now? Let's answer! Or was my word right until you couldn't answer it?."

Hamzah bowed lethargic. "Really, Larissa, trust me. I'm really worried about your health."

"Then answer! Why don't you want me to go to the hospital?."

Hamzah raises his head. Her cheeks were wet with tears. "I beg you, Larissa, believe me! I have a reason why I forbid you to go there. But really, I want to see you heal too."

Seeing her husband shed tears made Larissa emotion their little bit. As far as Larissa was concerned, Hamzah was a man who was unyielding with tears. But now the tears are falling because of him. "Then say it! Why don't you want me to go?" he said softly. His cries eased slightly and became as unwilling as possible. "Really, Entik, I really want to heal. I still want to see our son grow up. Is it too heavy for you?."

Hamzah grabbed Larissa's body and carried her back into her arms. "I just don't want to see you become like your mother after surgery, Encus. Look how your mother is doing now?" he said softly.

"Look into my eyes! Did you see a lie there?" he asked again. She pointed Larissa's face to her face.

Larissa saw a sincerity that emanated from Hamzah's eyes. There was a little lie there. "Then what should I do? Do I have to just shut up and let this disease lodge in my body?."

"How about we try alternative medicine. I see a lot of people who recover after this treatment. And it seems that this treatment is also not too risky."

Larissa thought for a moment. And after weighing the good Larissa also agreed. "All right, I agree! We'll try alternative medicine as you say. But where's the treatment?."

Hamzah smiled happily at the wife's approval. "I know where it is. It's not far from here."

Larissa scrunched her forehead. All this time he never knew if near where he lived there was an alternative treatment. "Where?."

"Sodiq monitor?." Larissa was increasingly confused to hear her husband mention the name of one of his family as well as the teacher where he had studied kebatinan all this time."

Seeing the doubts in the mind of Hamzah's wife again convinced if what he said earlier was true. "Yes, right, Uwak Sodiq. Besides being smart in terms of kebatinan science, he can also treat several diseases. Even many who claim to be cured after several times undergoing treatment there."

At first, Larissa hesitated, but she finally agreed. "All right! we go there."

That was the beginning of Larissa undergoing alternative medicine at the home of Uwak Sodiq, but eventually everything turned into a disaster.

Larissa gasped from her daydream when there were buyers coming. Quickly he tidied himself up and went to serve the buyer.

...****************...

That's right, Larissa's guess. Convincing Hamzah to drive him back to the hospital is not easy. It is evident that her husband is now very against her wishes.

Although her husband strongly opposed her decision but Larissa did not care. Agree or not, he will leave. All for his own healing. With a very forced finally Hamzah was willing to deliver it too.

Larissa deliberately entrust her son to the house of the in-laws because at that time the hours of practice the surgeon who handled it was night. He was worried that his daughter had fallen ill due to a night on the road. Moreover, the journey from home to the hospital takes up to two hours.

Throughout the journey Hamzah's attitude was very uncomfortable. As if to show that he was forced to do this. But Larissa was silent and did not care. For him, with Hamzah just dropping off it was more than enough.

After several hours of travel, they finally arrived. They sat in the waiting room waiting for Larissa's name to be called after picking up the queue number.

Time after time passed. But Larissa's name was not called. Making Hamzah more upset because he was in a place that he did not like. How much longer are we here?" he said in an ominous tone.

"Either! Let's just wait. It's called a big hospital, there's gotta be a lot in line." Larissa tried to be patient with her husband's arrogant attitude by saying meekly. She does not want to serve her husband. Especially in a public place like this.

"If you really have surgery, then you will never be able to sell again." Hamzah tried to influence Larissa to change her decision by saying things that had always been her consideration so far.

Larissa was well aware of the consequences. He used to doubt this, but not anymore. She also tried to be wise in responding to her husband's words. "If it has to happen, I'm sincere!. Maybe later God will give me another better way to get sustenance. Because sustenance can come from any direction. Even from a direction we never expected before."

Instead of confirming the wife's words, Hamzah laughed at her. "Ha ha ha, bullshit. It was just the talk of a wise man. You don't have to follow smart ass! There's no merit."

Larissa closed her eyes while rubbing her chest to hear the spicy words thrown by her husband. But he continued to try to be patient with it in order not to provoke a commotion in public. In the end tears that force to come out as hard as possible. " O God, give me the patience and strength to face all this" he said in his heart.

After a long wait, Larissa's name was called. And without lingering he immediately entered the doctor's room followed by Hamzah in the back.
