Hope is only hope. Dreams are only dreams. The happiness that had approached Larissa only lasted a while. The change in Hamzah is only for a moment.
The change occurred when Hamzah changed jobs and knew the martial world. If he wants to work, if not he sleeps all day at home or go somewhere.
One day after coming home from the sea, Hamzah went to the old man's house. From day to night, he did not return. At that time, Fatim had a fever.
All day Larissa kept holding her child. Fatim did not want to come down from his luggage for a while. Forced Larissa to carry it while helping mom and clean up the house. Moreover, there was no one to replace him to guard Fatim. Even just to eat and pee, Larissa still carries him.
The Maghrib prayer, Hamzah has just returned. He was in a hurry and wanted to leave again. Larissa rebuked him, "Entik, where are you going? you just came. Sit down, napa?."
"I can't, I'm in a hurry. I want to pick up the boss's wife at work" Hamzah replied without looking at Larissa.
"But this is still the Maghrib. Wait until the end of the Adzan. It is not good to leave the house if you are adhan Maghrib, pamali!. Later it can be doomed" Larissa warned.
"Not pa pa pa. I'm not good, I've been waiting for his wife."
"Why didn't the boss pick up his wife? why should you tell me?."
"Juragan asked me for help, and I couldn't resist."
"But your son has a fever. He kept crying out for you. Please, just carry him for a second. Let Fatim not fuss anymore."
"Udahlah. We are the ones who care. You're his mother."
"I've been carrying him on. Help u! just sec. Let him not fuss anymore, huh?."
"I don't have time. I was in a hurry" Hamzah replied quickly and passed away leaving the house regardless of his son and wife again.
Larissa stared at her husband's departure with a hard-to-express anger. He was disappointed, it could be that Hamzah was more concerned with picking up someone else's wife than carrying her sick child.
"Dead all on the road. Get hit by a car or run over by a truck there. Don't go back home." The vexation came out of Larissa's mouth.
During this time he always takes care of every word, especially when addressed to the husband. For him, every word is a prayer. But today the curse came out already. She was disappointed with her husband's attitude. A tear falls from the corner of the eye.
Not caring about anything else, Larissa took her son into the room and locked the door tightly. Wearing the plain face of the child. "I'm sorry mom, son. I have spoken harshly in front of you." The tears rolled back down her cheeks.
...****************...
The change in Hamzah's attitude is not just there. One day Hamzah again hurt Larissa. And he never realized any of that.
The sun began to shine, but Hamzah did not wake up. Larisa repeatedly wakes him up, but it doesn't work. Let alone move, even open his eyes Hamzah refused. It's like dying when you sleep, it's hard to wake up.
Larissa gave up, not continuing to wake her husband. He chose to immediately dwell in the kitchen and take care of his infant son.
By noon Hamzah had just woken up. He simply ate without caring for Larissa. When he finished, he went back into the room.
Hamzah's room was well dressed and ready to leave. Larissa was astonished to see her husband. "Where are you going, Entik?" tanyakanya.
"Business!" answer Hamzah briefly. Then he passed by leaving Larissa still covered with many question marks.
Despite not understanding her husband's meaning with the word 'business', Larissa did not continue her question anymore and let her husband go. He knows
right, if she asks a lot then she will get angry with her husband.
A neighbor passed by in front of Larissa's house. He felt sorry to see the fussy Fatim continue. "This is just bring his son. You better eat and shower first. You must also be tired, all day long hold."
Initially, Larissa hesitated to give her son to the neighbor. He was afraid that Fatim was pinched by constant anxiety because he saw his fat body. Having no other choice, Larissa also gives her son.
Quickly Larissa went to the bathroom to clean herself up. He was not calm to let his son be with someone else.
While he was taking a bath, Hamza came home. It
looks angry when he finds out Fatim was invited by others. "Rissa, j! Where's our son taken? why do you let
that guy took her?" the cry of the word bathroom.
"What are you doing home? keep on wandering!" answer Larissa.
Hamzah remained silent and did not listen to Larissa's reply. It seems he is aware of his mistake.
Larissa came out of the bathroom and didn't care about her husband. He was angry, hurt, hurt. A whole new time this time there are people who swear it like that. Her own husband did it.
After changing clothes, Larissa went outside to take her child. He went straight to TPQ which was not far from where he lived. Because at this hour usually the neighbor brought his son to teach there.
Sure enough, when he arrived at TPQ his neighbor was there. He took his son out of the woman's hand.
"Kok, wear followed here everything? you better rest first" said the neighbor of the house.
"Yes, ma'am, sorry. Fatim wants me to take a bribe first. He had not eaten before" Larissa replied reasoned.
Larissa returned home while carrying Fatim in her cradle. When she got home, she went straight into the room without reprimanding her husband.
The night began to creep. The stars scattered decorate the beautiful night. But unfortunately the beauty could not eliminate the heartache Larissa because of her husband's speech earlier.
Hamzah approached his wife who was lying on her back. "Encus, I'm sorry. I put on a bicycle sticker all day. I want to change the look of our bikes" he said gently.
Larissa got up from her sleep and sat facing Hamzah. "I don't forbid you from modifying the bike, but at least speak honestly lest I misunderstand. After all, just putting stickers on, can't it be done at home?." The anger that he was getting was finally out. Tears broke when I said all that.
Larissa is a type of person who cries easily. That's why he always cries when there are people who just slightly hurt his heart.
"I'm sorry!" that's all that came out of Hamzah's mouth.
"You know, Fatim's been fussy all day with a fever. He didn't want to come down from the sling. If you are at home, at least we can take turns carrying it" Larissa continued to vent her frustration.
"But no!. You didn't do that. When you came home, you said rudely to me, as if I was the guilty one."
"Life, no one's said that harshly to me. Only you dare to treat me like that"
"I'm sorry!" Back, only an apology came out of Hamzah's mouth. He could not deny everything Larissa said.
Larissa broke her body back and pulled the blanket, covering the entire body. He doesn't care about Hamzah's apology. He was already hurt. It does not matter whether Hamzah's apology is sincere or not.
Feeling his apology in vain, Hamzah left the house. I don't know where the nights went like this.
