The One Who Went Over Forgotten

From that day on, Neni and I stayed away. Sometimes nervous people seem scared. At lunch, he was quieter. Every time I wanted to explain he was always avoiding. The kids thought we were fighting.

While I keep my problems in the office. Right now I'm going to find Ello's address, the ghost of the boy.

I arrived at a large housing complex. Large multi-storey houses lined up neatly. I walked through each block and observed the number of houses displayed on the front wall of the house.

I finally arrived at the 36th house. Almost the same as the other houses. A two-story building with its walls dyed in white paint.

A woman in her 20s came out. Looks like he's the housekeeper.

"Is this the house of the Dharma family?" my many.

Quite unexpectedly the woman shook her head, "There's no name here, mbak."

" That Liana's mother ?" ask again.

"Nothing is either."

"What's up, bi?" A middle-aged woman approached us. From her graceful appearance, it seemed like she was the mistress of this house. The housekeeper told his mistress.

"Sadly, mba. I moved out two years ago too. Less know too. " Said the madam.

"Who was the owner of this house before?"

"If not wrong, Handoko. I don't know for sure about my husband taking care of everything."

"What's up, Linda ma'am?" another woman appeared who was following our conversation. He seems to be the next door neighbor. The woman called Linda told her neighbor. For a moment the woman thought silently.

"Oh, yeah! Yep! I recall. His family is Dharma. He used to live here. It's been a long time since he moved." the woman told me.

"Where did he move, Mom?"

"Well, I don't know either. It also moved suddenly. Didn't say anything."

"Sir, no phone number?" ask him back.

"We haven't been in communication for a long time. So my mother asked me to come straight to her house. I just found out that he's moved out." I lied.

"I'm sorry, ma'am." I'm leaving.

"Huf! Come all the way here, in vain. Does Ello know that his family has moved?" muttered.

I rested in a garden in that complex. There is a wooden seat to relax. The garden is quite spacious.Small plants fence around it. There is a playground for children.

There are skating, there are also a group of children who play the tunnel. A pair of parents and children playing together running around or swinging. A cheerful laugh dyed that afternoon.

Dusk began to dawn, spreading a beautiful golden color but leaving a sad impression.

One by one they left the park. Leave me alone with a girl who's still sitting on the swing. She was wearing a white lacy dress with a light blue ribbon on her chest.

Her neatly combed hair was tied like a horn on her right left. Inlaid blue ribbon.

The sun has been setting since. But he was still sitting on the swing. People passing by ignored him. While I keep watching him. Something is coming from inside me.

I walked up to him.

"Sir, you're not coming home?" my many. The boy shook his head.

"You want an older brother?" I said while extending my hand.

The little girl grabbed my hand and held it tightly. We both walked down the street hand in hand. The little girl led me to a house not far from the park.

The house is crowded. Looks like there's a party going on. Their laughter rang out to the outside.

"Is that your mom?" I asked to point at a couple who were in the middle of the party.

"Aren't you going in?" I looked at the little girl beside me. He shook his small head, and just stared inside the house.

This little girl has pretty eyes I thought. But his eyes looked sad and lonely. Not just that. Even without the words anyone knew, there was clearly longing, jealousy, and anger in it. I can understand it.

"You knew? All living people share happiness, spending time with our loved ones in joy and laughter. Only for the living."

"But after death, we are nothing more than memories that will be forgotten sooner or later."

The little girl looked at me, as if trying to decipher my words.

"That's you now. To the people in that house, who you call family, you are nothing more than a forgotten memory for them" I continued.

Sadness flooded her beautiful eyes. I ducked in front of him. "You can be angry. We can go on a rampage inside. Scare them or haunt them to keep remembering you."

"But that's what you really want. Make your family lament your loss all the time?"

The little girl nodded. The tears began to fall.

"Then you have to leave them the same way they left you. That way your family can continue life with a smile." I said while holding the tiny hand.

"This is no longer your home to go home to. You know where to go?" say again. The boy nodded and left and disappeared.

I stared inside the house for a while, before leaving. I can understand the girl's feelings. If 17 years ago I really died, then I would be in the same place as that girl.

Ow hell! I tripped over the box that was placed next to the house as I was leaving the place.

Another girl was scraping things in the box. When the boy saw me scared.

"I-I'm just looking for a doll!" said it. "Mama's gonna give all this stuff to the orphanage, but the doll's brother's favorite so I want to keep it."

"What is this?" I asked her to help her find the doll she was looking for. The little girl immediately grabbed it from my hand. Hugged her.

The girl told me about her sister who died three years ago. Her sister had long since been lying ill on the bed. Their parents were busy working, so the boy made time for his older brother after school. Talking or playing in the room.

One day the older brother wanted to play a swing in the park even though the doctor forbade him to play outside. Because the brother could not bear to secretly bring his brother to play in the park.

But just playing for a while her brother fainted and fell out of the swing. He died on the way to the hospital.

The younger brother was sad to feel guilty, if only he had not taken her out maybe his older brother was still alive. Moreover, he often heard that someone saw his brother's ghost playing a swing alone in the park. She thought maybe her brother had not forgiven her. That's why he's a curious ghost.

"You can believe it or not. I just met your sister. He doesn't hate you. She knew she was leaving soon, so she wanted to spend her last day with you. Your sister loves you. That's why he hoped you'd keep this doll for him." I said. The boy nodded in relief.

"Thank you" he said with a smile. Then get into that house.

You can calm down little girl. At least one person still remembers you, and keeps you in his heart.
