Followed by the Chaotic Creature
Rain Chants And Ghost Hospital Part 3

"Hey have you heard the news?" said one of the passing students, to the friend next to him.

"Yes, he said there were more victims. It's spooky!" sahut.

"The victim is our schoolgirl, but I don't know who yet" another friend said.

"The school covered it up. But some kids already know because they see it indirectly."

"What's the point of being covered up if it ends up being discovered as well."

"Listen he said this has something to do with the ghost of the rain girl who often appears in front of our school."

"really?"

"Yes. Maybe he showed up to choose between us who else was the victim."

"Thrilling! I hope I don't meet that rain girl!"

Whatisit? It seems like something scary is happening. I just heard the news.

Eli hasn't shown up yet, I'm so nervous.

The school is getting quieter. I peeked a little bit Eli was still talking to the teacher in the teacher's room. I decided to wait for him. Calculating the rain point due to boredom.

I heard a voice so softly infiltrated between the sounds of the rain. The longer the sound becomes clearer. His voice blends like music and song. Or someone is singing. The song is so sad but the sound is so beautiful and alluring.

I subconsciously stepped outside and followed the direction of the voice, as if I was being called. The song led me to the owner of the song.

A woman wearing a long white dress stood in front of the school gate. His pale hands were holding umbrellas. His long hair fell like soft silk on his back. I can't see his face because it's covered in an umbrella.

Surprisingly the rain did not touch him at all. The rain seemed to pierce through his form.

The ghost of the rain girl that was talked about? Heart wonders. I wonder what his face looks like. Is it as they tell?

Realizing my arrival, she stopped singing and turned towards me. That's when he showed me his face.

I was stunned and silent. Without what face?! She had such a beautiful face that I was speechless.

"Why haven't you come home yet?" tanyanya.

"I'm waiting for my friend" I replied.

"Hurry home! It's dangerous for a kid like you to be out of the house for too long" he said.

"Why brother is standing here. Is there something you're waiting for?" manya curious.

"Nothing! I'm not waiting for anyone. Does that bother you?"

"My friends are talking about my brother."

"Your friends?"

"Yes, you scared them, didn't you?"

"Me?"

"They talk about a faceless ghost carrying an umbrella, who often appears in front of the school gates when it rains. That's brother, isn't it?"

She seemed to be thinking, then longed for her umbrella to cover her face.

"What's like this?" ask again while showing a face without nose eyes and mouth. I could still hear his voice coming into my mind. Looking at me not reacting to her performance, she looked disappointed. And change back to its shape as before.

"Ah, not exciting! You're not scared at all."

"So, why would you scare my friends?" my many.

"I'm not scaring anyone. For creatures like us appearance is not important. No matter what we look like it's not who we are. What people think is how you show up" he replied.

"So we only manifest the fear that is in their minds. And enjoy their frightened reactions. But you're different you don't think about anything. Because that's how I look in your eyes" he continued.

"Maybe because you're used to seeing creatures like us. So it's not scary for you anymore. Some humans are like that. Right?"

I nodded in agreement with his opinion. My eyes are still watching him. We were silent for a moment and just stared at each other.

"Son't like to sing? I heard it."

"I sang once. Do you understand what else I'm singing?"

"I didn't quite hear it, but the song sounded so sad."

"sad? Hemm, I think it's okay right?" presumedly. Acting as if you are thinking hard.

"Hindu. I think it's more appropriate to describe the feeling in my song."

"Is there anything that you miss?"

"I miss a lot of things. My sister, parents, friends, and many things from this city that I miss. I have lived in this city. Can't I miss all that?"

"But now that big brother is no longer alive in this city, the place where big brother shouldn't be here. If there's anything I can help you with, I'll do it so that you can leave quietly."

"That's arrogant!" The expression on his face turned angry. "What can you help? Helping yourself is not always possible, be willing to help!"

Suddenly I felt pressured to the point of being crushed by something heavy until I almost fell. I felt the air around me thin so it was not hard to breathe.

"What do you know about us? What are you about this town? You don't even know anything!"

He's coming closer to me. I stepped back. My gut tells me to stay away from him.

"If you have a habit of 'helping' without knowing anything. So I suggest you stop now! Many people died without knowing anything because they interfered too much."

I could only keep quiet without being able to return his words. I regret. Why did I say that to him. I didn't expect him to be as angry and offended as that. I'm so scared. I feel like he can hurt me anytime.

He's not the same creature I've met all along. I've been dealing with him wrong.

"When you look scared, but the light of your eyes shows determination. Even if I press you, you don't fall easily. How interesting! You remind me of someone,"

"Your friend has arrived. We end our meeting here. If we meet again, show me how far you can help yourself and others."

After saying that he went missing behind the rain. Eli ran up to me.

"Sorry, I'm old. Looks like we're not going to the hospital today. How about tomorrow?" said Eli.

I'm still dying, not lost in my mind what happened just now.

"Mails?" eli shouted at me. "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing. We'll leave tomorrow like you said. Let's go!"

On the way home the rain had not stopped. At the crossroads we split up. I kept feeling uneasy, I vaguely felt followed. It is unclear who or what it is. Heavy rain and strong winds seemed to disguise its existence.

Until I parted with Eli he was still following me. I stopped in front of the house and turned around.

"Who is that? Come outside!" He didn't respond to my call. Surely whoever followed me, he had no good intentions.

After I made sure the fence was locked I ran into the house.
