Murder Under the Rain Part 4

"Die!" eli screeched and threw the scroll at the big mummy.

"Is he a mummy?" Whisper Eli.

"There's no way a mummy wears clothes" I said.

The creature stared at us, throwing the ball roll at us again.

"It's yours! We return!" I said while throwing the scroll back. That big thing threw it at us again.

"I don't need this!" I threw it back again as if we were both playing ball throwing.

"Did he ask us to play ball?" I whispered to Eli in the back.

"I think he'd like to ask you to put that loose bandage together."

"How is it?"

"Just twinkle!"

I began to wrap the bandage around her body.

"Melya, you're really not talented as a nurse." Eli said seeing that I'm getting messy.

"And I told you, I've never done this. If you can, you'll do it!"

Finally finished. Although it looks messy it seems like the creature is satisfied with the results of my work. He left with pleasure. I saw a little bit of the creature's body was covered in burns. I also smell the roast. Was he a fire victim?

"What's wrong?" eli asked puzzledly to see me still silent on the spot.

"none. Let's go!" take me up the stairs.

"We're not going down?"

"You want to see that thing again?"

"No! Nah! I don't want to!"

"Then let's go up! I don't want to see him anymore either."

Upstairs there are more rooms and everything is sealed shut. We peeked at it one by one. There are a lot of strange creatures I've never seen. Some rooms are locked.

"We try everything that's unlocked first."

We switched to another room door. The room we went to next was very dark. It seems empty too. I was about to close it back, but suddenly a pale, wrinkled corpse-like hand held my right hand. His hands are ice cold.

"Aakhhhh!" I screamed in surprise. The hand was trying to pull me inside. I held on with my left hand still holding the doorknob. Eli also helped pull me out. I tried to close the room again, but an old woman's head poked out of the door and blocked it.

"Die!"

"My child! Don't leave! I'll love you!" said the old woman's ghost.

"I'm not your son! You're the wrong guy!" I kept holding on but my legs started to drag.

"This is your mother, son! Don't leave! I'll sing you another sleep."

"I don't need that! Unhand me!" my yelling. Another hand appeared and held the ghost's hand. He cringed in pain and finally let go of my hand. The ghost went into his room again. We hurriedly closed it.

I looked to see who was helping us.

"Sister Angga?"

Apparently Angga. "What are you doing here?"

What do I have to answer? There's no way I said I secretly followed him earlier.

"Let's explain it at home! Now brother help me find Brother Jun and his sister."

"What do you mean?"

"He was swallowed up by a creature that stuck to the wall. Now I don't know how he is. We checked this room to look for her."

"Don't open these rooms. Because you don't know what's locked up in there."

"Now you must get out of this place! It's dangerous if you're here!"

"But what about Brother Jun?"

"Let me look for him" answered Angga.

"Give me my sister!" A voice echoed in the corridor. That's Jun sis' voice. I immediately rushed to find the origin of the voice regardless of Angga's call.

We found Brother Jun at the end of the hall arguing with the figure of the woman wearing the umbrella. Why is he still wearing an umbrella in here?

"Listen to me first. I didn't kidnap her so stop accusing me."

"Then where's my sister?"

"He's not with me right now. You saw that, right?"

"Sister was with him!" I shouted to interfere.

"So it was. I intended to take her home because her brother didn't come to pick her up. But since you've come, it's not so."

"Then why did you run away?!"

"So the elevator closed itself. I'm not the one who closed it!"

"Huhuh?? Is sister also gonna say her elevator went up by herself?"

"That's what happened."

"Then say, where is his brother Jun now?"

"I don't know."

"He ran away from me and hid between those rooms."

"Which room?"

"I told you I don't know!"

"Can't not know! Big brother must know which room brother Jun is in."

While the female ghost was just staring coldly at Brother Jun.

Seeing Brother Jun like that felt pity. I was angry at the ghost.

"Evenia!" a loud voice stopped him. I turned and saw Angga staring furiously at the woman.

"Even you, I won't forgive if I hurt him" Angga said threateningly. I immediately retreated away from the female ghost.

He looked towards the window, before finally saying, "Alright! Game over! One against four, I lose!

Suddenly one of the rooms nearby opened and the girl we saw came out.

"Jen!"

"Sister!" Jen rushed towards her brother and hugged him. Seeing them I was moved. They can finally be together again.

"I'm giving your sister back to you! Take good care of him!" said the woman.

We went home together, but Angga stayed there.
