I'm Mina. I've dumped my family on the street since I was a kid. The master who found me and brought me home. Gave me a warm place to sleep, and good food to fill my stomach.
There are a lot of servants in the house. I work hard not to be a burden. My lord the first son of the great master. Soon he will inherit all of his family's wealth.
Master is not a greedy man. He wants to use his wealth for those in trouble. The more treasures he possessed the more he could share. He is a good man who cares about others.
Until the day he lost his mother, the master finally fell ill. He often hallucinated and acted strangely. Sometimes his emotions are out of control. He could suddenly rampage and attack those around him. Sometimes he shut himself up in his room.
When I went to his room, "I didn't want to die. They want me dead. They want to kill me." He was scared in his bed.
I see, in the house he once considered safe, it turned into a terrible place. His greedy and cunning brothers repeatedly tried to kill him. Although it failed, it managed to make him anxious and frightened at all times.
All this time the late madam was the only person protecting the master in this mansion. The master grew up in this house very protected. So that he does not know what danger, threat, and greed are. Where blood relations are meaningless. Without the late mistress the master became fragile. The mother could not face him alone.
Different from me and the other street kids. Ever since we dumped our parents onto a dirty road without protection, we were ready to die at any time. Die of hunger and sickness or die of stealing.
I held the hand of the sick master. I know I'm still a child, I can't protect master completely, but at least I want you to know there's still one person who cares about him. I swear in my heart I won't leave him no matter what.
The more days of pain the more severe the master. The master is finally paralyzed. People say he went crazy for losing his mother. The people around him stayed away from him. His family decided to throw him into the forest.
There is a belief about this forest that is believed long ago. If a sick person is thrown into this forest, he will be healed if this ranger is willing to heal him. Or he'll die as an offering of this forest.
Whatever it was I decided to go with him and take care of him. I was lucky to find an old house that we could both live in. I don't know who the owner is. The house is not locked. But his things remain intact and neatly arranged. From the dust that piled up I knew that this house had long been abandoned. Surprisingly the items inside were kept well preserved without anything being damaged.
There are five bedrooms with each having its own bathroom inside. In addition there is a kitchen, dining room, living room, and private library, as well as a music room.
Sometimes there are good people who give us food.
While taking care of him I looked for medicines that might cure him. I even met one of these rangers. I begged him to heal my master.
"Mina, your master can no longer be healed. The pain is not from his feet but his heart and mind. That's why I can't cure him. It would be better for you to leave him soon. He can hurt you sooner or later." After saying so the forest guard in the form of a woman left and never appeared again.
The master usually shut himself in the room. He probably thinks everyone has thrown him away. But ever since he found a large old book in the library room, he now spends a lot of time in the little library.
At first I was happy to see you leave the room. I was worried for a long time. The look on the master's face turned terrifying. I want to run away but I can't leave master.
If I had known what book you were reading, I would have directly distanced the book from you. But it's all too late.
Until one night I woke up from my sleep. I knew someone came into my room and stood by my bedside. As I opened my eyes, I saw a glistening sharp blade hovering above my body. And fell right on my neck without me avoiding it. My body twitched for a moment feeling pain. While the fresh red liquid soaked the white sheets on which I lay.
My head is rolling down to his feet. You stand without a wheelchair. I'm glad my death wasn't in vain. He lifted my head as if talking to me.
"If I could get another offering, I would live with a healthy body and not be able to die."
After that many other innocent children died at his hands. I kept watching him. I don't regret dying for him. Because without master I've been dead a long time. The only thing I regret is I couldn't stop his actions.
Sooner or later the punishment will come to her without me being able to help her again.

"I just want you to be happy. I want you to be healthy again like you used to." His crying words ended the story.
"Mina, you can be relieved now. Your master is already where he should be. He will no longer feel pain. So there's nothing more you have to regret." Muck persuaded him.
He wiped his tears, walked away leaving a grin.
"He's a good servant but got a poor master." Mumbles
After the girl's departure, a fox appeared. The creature stroked my legs and looked at me. Hinted at me to follow him.
From her eyes I knew she was no ordinary fox. I looked towards Alvin.
"Can I just take a minute? They might worry if I disappear all of a sudden."
The fox saw me for a moment and left.
"Can't ya?" I draw conclusions. Seeing the fox leave just like that meant he didn't want me to tell the others.
I rushed after him before losing the fox. After nearly dying last night in this forest, I'm now following the foxes. If Alvin and Haris found out, they'd shake their heads and think I was crazy.
But I don't feel a threat to the fox. That's why I decided to follow him. The fox led me to a deeper area of the forest. The deeper the darker. The thick trees make it difficult for sunlight to enter. The soil I plowed was more moist than the others.
The atmosphere is also quiet. Other than me and the fox in front of me, there was one more creature watching us from the tree branch.
I don't know what creatures are following us. The rustling sound of tree branches above me provoked my curiosity. As I looked up, something suddenly fell on me.
"Ohhhh!" My terrified screams echoed throughout the forest.
