Meet Ello back

Blood began to seep from my left palm. The palms I used to hold on to the branches of trees and plants around me. The wound due to friction during the attraction with the creature. It indicates that I have reached my limit.

"I won't let you run away again!" The criminal pulled the two of us down.

"Aackhh!" I'm not in power. As I thought about releasing my grip on the tree branch, the branches seemed to be moving in circles around my wrist. But I ignored that strangeness.

My focus was on something falling out of my shirt pocket, nudging Alvin on the shoulder. I forgot it was in my pocket. That's the thing Angga gave me the other day, and asked me to always carry it.

I don't know what's inside because I never opened it. Angga forbade me from opening it but he asked to keep it because maybe I would need it. Right now the bag is open and the contents are spilling right into the face of the creature. It contained some sort of powder but it was not clear what the powder was.

"Aaaaakhs!" The man screamed in pain. He let go of his grip holding his face. I used that to pull Alvin up.

I watched from above. His skin is blistered and broken.

"What was that?" Alvin was confused.

"I don't know. That bag was someone's gift." My answer.

"Akkhhh, that thing belongs to 'him'. Why would a brash kid like you have it?!" He roared and spoke indistinctly. Alvin and I left him.

After feeling far enough away, I decided to rest. I leaned Alvin on the trunk of a big tree. Alvin's condition during the trip was concerning.

Thick blood kept dripping from the wound on his forehead. It looks like the wound is deeper than it looks. If we force him to keep going he can bleed out when we get outside.

Not to mention the wound on his left leg. I knew from then on he forced his way by enduring the pain in his leg.

I don't have emergency medicine. So I tore part of his shirt into a long cloth to bandage the wound on his head. At least this could hold him for a while.

Alvin was attacked first for being behind me. He was thrown three meters away before finally hitting the wall violently. I thought the wound would be bad.

The only thing I'm grateful for is that he's still conscious. If he passes out, I'll have trouble taking him.

This forest is vast. I hope we're not unlucky enough to see him again. But still I have to be on guard. I'm looking for something that can be used as a weapon against him.

I took the broken tree branch.

"What's that for?" Alvin asked with a heavy breath. He seems to have trouble talking. His breathing is irregular.

"I'm gonna use this rod to beat up that gorilla. I'm sure it's pretty strong." My answer.

"Free! That thing will be slashed immediately with an axe." Alvin.

I walked closer to him. "Where did you know he was wearing an axe?" My toot. Alvin did not answer. But I feel a strong pressure. I looked back. Something was swinging towards me. But Alvin quickly pushed me far to the side.

When I turned to Alvin, I saw the gorilla-like man oppressing Alvin. He intended to attack with his axe but Alvin managed to dodge so that the axe was stuck in the tree trunk.

Alvin pushed the huge body with both feet away. The man fell to the ground. Alvin grimaced holding onto his injured leg.

The criminal is trying to wake up. I beat his body with wood. But just one blow the wooden rod broke. The man grabbed my hand and threw me. I felt my body drift for a moment before falling to the ground.

My body is sick and I have trouble waking up. I saw the man approaching Alvin and dragged Alvin unconscious.

What offering? Where's he taking Alvin? I'm trying to get up. But then my palm touched something. When I grabbed that thing to see it I couldn't believe what was in my hand.

A bone. It's not animal bones. But it's too small for an adult human bone. Don't-don't..

I dug into the ground with both hands. Many bones were buried in the ground where I was thrown. This is where the man dumped the children's bodies.

I felt the ground beneath me move. The small hands that were almost a skull came out from within the ground. Crawl up into my body. The horror I could not avoid caught me was like a fly falling on a spider's web.

"Our brother wants to go home!" The voices of the children call me. Ask me for help.

"Bring us!"

"Help us!"

"Take us out of here!"

Their voices asking for help overlapped with each other in my ears. While their feelings and memories flowed through my head. Sadness, hatred, anger and loneliness.

Without me knowing they were all standing around me. A child with two legs broken up crawled over to me.

"Sister, help me! I don't want to die!" The boy was crying.

"Pinjami our brother's body so we can get out!" Said the boy who grabbed me from behind.

"Akkhh! Nah! Stop that!" I screamed with all my might to reject them.

"Let us enter your body so we can kill that person. We'll free brother's friend!" Said another child. They were arguing about what they were going to do to my body.

My body can't move. My head hurts and feels heavy. I felt something enter me, taking over my consciousness.

I fell limp to the ground. My eyes began to blur. It was then that I vaguely saw the figure of Ello appear in front of me. Appearance is the same as usual. He wore shorts with a yellow sweater and a hood on his head.

"Stop! Are you going to hurt someone who's going to help you?" Ello said, but in a different voice. His voice sounds heavy. Like the voice of a grown man.

'Is that Ello I've known all along?' thought doubted.

The boys stopped crowding me and disappeared. It was as if they were afraid of the sudden appearance of Ello.

Ello walked over to me. Not just the sound, even his expression changed. Not as usual. A grin appeared on his face.

"I didn't think you'd come this fast." He said with a satisfied smile.

"Are you-the one who planned-all this?" I asked with difficulty.

"It's true that I fished you out. But I didn't force you. You came of your own accord and on your own two feet." The answer.

"Why are you doing this?" I grabbed his arm and grabbed him firmly. It brings out the anger I've been holding back since.

"Because I need you, to open that locked door" he replied smiling weightlessly.
