I know that it is not just us who occupy this world, there are those who share a place with us. Fill the empty spaces left by humans. Living side by side with humans. Although not all humans can see them, but they really EXIST!
Most of them do not like to be disturbed. Therefore I think as long as we don't bother them then they won't bother us either.
But I was wrong! At least the creature in front of me was clearly different from what I was used to seeing.
The creature that appeared in the form of a woman today looked at me furiously as if I was bothering her.
It's strange! Normally I would run away in fear. Right now all my fear was gone, changing into uncontrollable anger.
"Hey, why are you the one who is angry, shouldn't I be the one who is angry here?!" I returned his gaze sharply.
I made my voice sound as cold as possible. I can't look weak. He's not a creature to talk to. He loved terrorizing and making people afraid. Just once he caught my fear, he would instantly attack me mercilessly.
"Bother!" He roared furiously at me
"Who's bothering here, huh? You're the one who showed up at our place! You pushed one of the workers here, falling down the stairs. You're also the one who hid one of my friends. So who's really bothering?"
"This is my place!" He shouted with his wide mouth, emitting an unpleasant scent from his mouth.
"This is not your place! This is our place!" my snapping.
"I've been living here longer than you" she protested.
"Occupying this floor before us, doesn't make you the owner of this place! Realize where you are! You've only been living here without the owner's permission. You're - a mere occupant - dark!" resolutely denied.
The creature's anger grew. He pushed me with a man-like strength.
"I just found out you're a transvestite!" my lips.
He was pressing me aggressively. I leaned against the wall to keep from falling. By resting on the wall behind me I resisted his attack.
I managed to catch both of her wrists as she was about to use her claws to strike my face.
He roared with his wide, smelly mouth. His face looked hideous with his eyes glaring at me. A wide black line wrapped around his eyes. And his long black hair fell out covering part of his face.
"Is that long hair you only use to cover his ugly face? Really am! You're horrible! Not beautiful at all! No man will come near you." I insinuated made him even more rampage. I held back the rampage while continuing to think, looking for a gap to knock this creature down.
Seeing how he showed his ugly appearance in front of my face I wanted to hit him in the face just once. But if I take off my grip, he will instantly use his claws to tear the skin off my face.
Quite unexpectedly, even though his strength was large his arms were thin like bones.
"You know, I've broken my opponent's arm a lot in fights. But I've never broken the arm of a creature like you. And your arms look so skinny. I'm afraid I could break it on purpose." I strengthened my grip and put all my strength into it. I pressed it backwards as if I would break it.
"It hurts!" his erang.
"I didn't know that creatures like you could feel pain either. Can weak humans like us actually hurt you? "
The look in his eyes that were challenging me just now shrunk.
He stopped pushing me. Now he's trying to get his hands out of my grip.
I remember the words of Angga. Subtle creatures like them tend to use their visible form. But there are times when they use their physical form when they are about to take, or touch something, then you can also touch them.
That's why at first I lured him to attack me, so I could catch him. He will not get away with it again like before.
He was struggling to get away from me. This creature could have disappeared as suddenly as that time. But right now he's trapped by something and can't escape. Is it because I am holding onto his physical form that he cannot disappear?
What am I supposed to do with this thing? Drag it or throw it out of this building. I haven't found Neni either.
"Where's my friend?" my many.
The woman pointed into the woman's toilet.
"What did you do to him? "
"none. I just scared him. "
"Mell! " Alea's voice called out to me. "Have you met?"
Spontaneously I removed my grip from the woman. He moved away hiding at the end of the dark passageway.
"It looks like he's in the toilet" I replied.
I glanced towards the woman who disappeared, before I went into the toilet. As if I was talking to the woman, I whispered softly and threatened.
"Make sure you don't bother anyone here anymore."
We both went into the ladies' room. The toilet light will not turn on. Looks broken. The door of the room is at the corner closed. Sayup-sayup I heard the sound of sobs.
"Master?" I'm Oba calling. He didn't say. I tried to open the door but it was locked from the inside.
"More! Neni!" I called again while banging on the door.
"Who?" Ask for a voice from within. His voice vibrates. Neni must be scared inside.
"It's me, Melya. Please open the door."
"lik! You're not him! You're the ghost of that woman! I won't be fooled again."
"It's me, Nen! Please open the door. I'm with Alea here. We want to help you."
"lik! Lied!" Neni still denies us. I have to persuade him immediately. The air here is very bad especially for him who is sick.
"A ghost may be able to imitate my voice. But they would not be able to imitate Alea's voice. You know Alea's the least talkative that even ghosts don't necessarily hear."
Alea glanced at me sharply, almost protesting against me but hearing Neni inside chuckling she undoes her intentions.
"That's right, Nen. Molly's worried you haven't come home. And ask us to find you. There are no ghosts here. If there was Melya would have thrown him out. He's the expert here." Alea said to strike me back.
"Hey!" I protested. Alea grinned.
Slowly the toilet door opened. Neni appeared with a messy appearance. Hair's messy. His face was shabby and wet with tears and sweat. He hugged us while sobbing.
"I'm afraid you're not looking for me. I'm afraid I'll hide here until morning. "
I patted her on the back to calm her down.
"Let's go."
"My pants are wet" he said shyly as he sobbed. "And my feet are still dark." For a moment the three of us were silent. Then laugh.
"I've got a copy of the clothes in the locker. I'll take it. "
Shortly afterwards Alea returned with a change of clothes. We helped her change her clothes, and cleaned her face. Then took her into our study room to calm down for a moment.
