Old House In The Forest

"Alvin!" Excruciate. I turned back and walked quickly towards Alvin's voice earlier. I'm afraid something bad happened to her.

It turns out Alvin mired a fairly steep descent. Although not too deep fall into there could cause injury.

"Are you okay?" Excited from above.

"Yes, I'm fine." Legally.

I look for roots or strong vines to hold on to as I go down.

I saw Alvin standing up. It seems like nothing was hurt.

"Thank God you're okay" I said in relief. "I thought I heard a girl scream." Sindirku.

"Sorry, I'm just surprised. Anyone can shout if it falls suddenly from up there." Answer reasons.

"How was your pursuit. I thought you were chasing something? Or someone?" Ask again.

"Thanks to you I lost her." Answer disappointed.

"Don't be disappointed. Let's see that." His word. My eyes follow the direction of her index.

That house is there?! It is not visible from above. It turns out it's down here.

"Is that really the house you saw in your dream?" Ask ensures.

"really. Let's go there!"

The mansion was lined with high iron walls and doors. Even though the iron looks rusty.

I picked up a big rock and hit the padlock that locked the iron door. I hit as hard as I could, hoping that the lock lock would come off or the chain would break.

Alvin was going around this fence, looking for a rat road that we might be able to get into. But our efforts were in vain. Alvin didn't find a gap to enter. While my hands started to hurt. The chain is strong.

"It's okay to enter without permission. This house seems to have an owner." Alvin was hesitant.

I understand Alvin's intention that our actions could be against the law.

"That's what we can think about later. Your brother's body might be in there. You don't want to take him out?" I told Alvin.

"of course. I want to find her."

"Then think about it later. The most important thing is we have to find your brother's body first. Anyway, see the condition of this house? How long do you think this house has been abandoned?" My word.

"Eitherway. I think it's been over ten years or so." Tympano Alvin.

"Then we're safe. This house has obviously been abandoned. The owner didn't expect to come back here." Say again.

I saw the fence hinge was a little loose. I thought of a plan to break into it.

"Now, get out of there!" I asked Alvin, stepping back to take the right position.

"What do you want?" Ask Alvin. He had already moved away from that iron door.

"I'll kick it." I answered while kicking the door in full force. Door's flinching. I felt pain in my feet. It's stronger than I expected. But at least my efforts were not in vain. Again the door must have collapsed.

On the other hand Alvin was dumbfounded to see my actions.

"Ah stop! I'll help you. I didn't think you were such a strong girl. It's worth it that you dare to enter this forest alone." Alvin.

"I'm sorry I'm not as weak as you think. My life has been pretty tough since I had this ability. So brother. Teach me martial techniques to take care of myself." My word.

"I'm more amazed by you." Said Alvin sincerely. "now, let's kick this iron fence together. I think it's more effective if we do it together."

Me and Alvin took up positions. And in a matter of three we threw a kick simultaneously towards the iron door. Finally the iron door collapsed. The hinges on both sides were removed.

Alvin and I went into the house. Although there is a lot of dust here and there, table chairs and other furniture are still well arranged. This house consists of many rooms. We searched the rooms one by one.

I walked to the back room. The room Ello showed me in my dream. My chest was beating fast until I could hear his voice.

Be calm! I said to myself. The kidnapper stopped his actions for more than ten years. Exactly 17 years. Which means there are only two possibilities.

First the kidnapper's gone from this place looking for his new headquarters target.

Second, something happened to the kidnapper, which made him no longer able to commit his crimes. In that case, he might have already been caught or died.

Either of those two things, the kidnapper is definitely not in this house anymore. So this should be safe.

I just need to find one clue or one piece of evidence that I can bring to the police so that this case can be investigated further. Regardless of whether the criminal lives or dies, justice must be obtained for the victims so that they can be calm.

I pushed the door of the room steadily. Everything was exactly like in a dream except for one thing. This room is clean and tidy. No traces of blood. I also did not find any weapons that the criminal used to execute the children.

Why don't I think that the criminal has cleared the evidence. There was no way he would leave a trace of his crimes here. I'm starting to be pessimistic. My efforts to get into this house might be in vain.

I came out of that room. In the living room I saw Alvin standing staring at the object in his palm with a strange expression. His eyes shook his expression sad and surprised.

"What is Alvin?" My toot. Alvin shows a bracelet that has a name engraved on its plate. "Ello"

"That's your brother's?" I asked again to make sure. Alvin nodded.

"Tell me the truth. In your dreams, what happened to my brother.

"Alvin, I think your brother was a murder victim. His arrival to this place was a mistake. This house has become the base of the killer. And your brother entered this house without knowing it." My answer.

Alvin came up to me and grabbed my shoulder. I knew he would be angry to hear this.

"Who? Who killed my brother? You saw his face, didn't you?" Ask me.

"I saw it but it's not so clear."

"Is he still here? We have to report it to the police. The killer must be arrested. I won't let him be free." Alvin was full of emotion.

"He's not here anymore. I want him to get caught, too. That's why I came here to look for evidence of his crimes. Unfortunately failed. I didn't find anything." Said disappointed.

Alvin took off his grip on my shoulder. "I remember I found it." He said and took me to follow him.

There was a small door on the floor. When I opened the stairs from the wood to the basement of the house.

Check it. The wood is still strong enough for a foothold. I went down first followed by Alvin. I highlighted the dark room with the flashlight I was carrying.

The space is quite spacious even though many unused items are scattered on the floor. It looks like this place was once used as a warehouse.

We found another room there. Alvin tried to open it but it was locked. Should I kick him again? I asked in my heart. I touched the door to check the strength of the door, whether it can be broken or not. But, that door instead ... is open?
