Followed by the Chaotic Creature
Mysterious Little Girl

"What?? You need me to open that locked room? Not to find those kids?" I made sure back that what I heard wasn't wrong.

"Right," Ello replied with a calm smile. I clutched his arm even stronger.

"How can you say that while smiling while Alvin and I were almost killed because of your plan." My grumbling.

"I know you're angry. I also know a lot of things you want to ask about what happened including about your brother coming here first. But this is not the right time to answer." He said, releasing my hand from her.

"I'll answer when we meet again. So sleep! Everything will improve when you wake up." He said back as he touched my forehead. For a moment I felt tired and sleepy, then fell asleep.

Before I lost consciousness I heard him talking to someone.

"How is he doing?"

"He's still unconscious. The wound must be treated immediately."

"Take them both! Soon the villagers who were looking for them would get here. I'll go to clean things up."

Just a moment ago he was playing a chase with the two boys. But now it was her turn to flee in fear. At first he thought the creature had appeared to save the two men. That's why he let them go.

But even though he had released the two people, the creature was still chasing him. The large body he possessed made him unable to run quickly. He finally stopped because he was out of breath.

"Finally, I found you." Say a child in front of him. He knelt in fear before the boy.

That five-year-old boy-like appearance was not his true form. He noticed the terrifying figure hidden behind the tiny body.

"It's like you're not as stupid as people think, but you realize who I am." Say that little boy again. But with the voice and tone of an adult.

All who were born and grew up in this village, including himself, knew the figure of a very powerful ethereal being, who had protected the forest for hundreds of years.

The guard, who had never meddled in human affairs and had always ignored him why now appeared all of a sudden. He had never set foot in the forbidden area. There was no reason for this creature to appear before him.

"It's my fault. I should have killed you long ago. Because of a stupid human like you, I had to lose him. This time I'll make sure you disappear." Said the little boy as he walked up to him.

"No! You can't kill me! You can't kill a human. You can't hurt me because I'm human."

"You're right. We are not allowed to hurt people. But look at you now! can you still be called a human?"

This time he retreated in fear while continuing to beg. "Don't kill me! I don't want to die!"

"The shameless. All your victims beg you too, right? But did you let go? No. You killed them all so cruelly. So now accept the punishment!" Said the guard in the form of a boy.

The sinful man tried to escape.

"Where are you going to run? Did you forget? this whole forest is in my power."

A moment later the entire ground shook and the wind blew fiercely. The little boy's body was transformed into a tall giant tree. The branch stuck out like a hand gripping the man's body well upwards.

'Aargh!" The sound of screams of pain echoed throughout the forest. The screams of death momentarily dimmed and disappeared.

When I woke up, it was already a day. I woke up at the house of one of the villagers. The bruises and blisters all over my body have been treated.

"Are you the one who took us out?" My toot.

"Yes, I found you along with the villagers who were looking for you." The answer.

"I heard from my mother you were looking for me. And the driver said that his master had been in the woods since morning. That's why I asked the villagers for help to find you." Haris explained again.

"I really didn't expect you to throw yourself into danger just to find out. Or is it a new way to kill yourself." Insinuations. I only responded with a small laugh.

"Alvin's? How's he doing?" My toot. I remember the last time he passed out and was dragged away by that criminal.

"She was taken to the hospital on time and has received intensive care. He even realized it first of all." Haris's answer relieved me.

"He is currently leading the way with the police, to inspect the house, and also to carry the bones that we have with you for further investigation."

"Please take me there." My love for Haris. Fortunately, he did not refuse.

The forest became very crowded. I saw the officers evacuating. They put the bones into the body bag and then brought out. Alvin watched nearby.

How she feels now, I wonder. Is he happy to find the body of his brother again who now only remains bones only? How does she feel knowing that her brother is a murder victim? He was almost killed by the same criminal.

"Alvin!" Call me near him.

"Mel, are you awake?" Alvin welcomes. His expression turned cheerful.

"How's it going here?" My toot.

"Almost all have been moved. Once the forensic team has been examined and investigated, their identities will be returned to their families. Those who reported losing family members have been contacted by police for DNA testing. Some of them also came here."

"Police didn't find the criminals who attacked us. The criminal disappeared without a trace. Weird, right?" Alvin said again.

"What attacks us is not human. Everything feels real to me. When he caught me, threw me, even attacked with an axe. "

"What about the axe?" Much

"The man was found at home. In the cellar. The axe on the tree trunk was also absent. Is it true that everything is just a matter of paying off. I doubt my own memory." Alvin was confused.

I don't know how to answer it. I also don't know what happens next after I'm unconscious. And what has been done the figure of the creature who borrowed the form of Ello. Who tricked me. Whatever it is I don't want to tell Alvin. I don't want to add to his mind burden anymore. Enough to get here I implicate him.

Haris also helped the police because he knew better about this forest. I remember before Ello passed out talking to someone near me. And Haris said he found us.

'Was he the one who spoke to Ello back then?' thought suspicious.

Instead of thinking about Haris, my eyes caught a familiar figure to me. He stood away from the crowd. I walked closer to him.

A little girl I was chasing the other day. Her age might be around ten years or so wearing a knee-length nightgown. Her straight hair was on her shoulders. With her gray eyes she looks beautiful.

expression sad. Tears fell from her pretty eyes. The little girl cried without a sound.

"What are you crying about? Your life is short? Or the death of your master whom you have served all this time?" I asked the little girl in front of me.

"The one who forcibly ended your life." My words touched the scar of a sharp wedge that coiled around his neck. Death trace.
