Before continuing with the story of Melya's adventures at school, we retreat a little so that you understand Melya's plan. This is what happened a few hours before Melya saved Riri.

"A killer?!" Eli was so shocked that his voice rose.

"Shhh!" I hinted Eli to shut up and lower his voice.

I also don't know where this misunderstanding started. Reina as a victim of bullying at school because of a theft case believed to have died and become a curious spirit. But reality is different.

The fact that Reina is alive is known only to her family. This was done so that Reina could start her new life somewhere else.

"How do you know what the spirit is thinking? How can you be sure that it's Maiya's spirit?" eli asked confusedly.

"Because I saw him and I heard his voice" I replied. "I met the spirit on the first day I went to grade 1-6. He's sitting in my chair. At first I didn't know who he was. And think of him as a regular nosy ghost."

"But when I looked at the student yearbook and the photos of the alumni, I recognized his face. I'm sure she's Maiya, the spirit believed to be Reina's ghost."

"Why is she disguised as my aunt?!"

"He's not disguised as your aunt, Eli. But it is people who mistake it. No one knows the face of Reina or Maiya. They just hear the story word of mouth."

"Eli, I think Reina's ghost story came about because they didn't know your aunt was alive. Reinforced Maiya's death and locker key no 13 were found nailed Maiya's shirt. Your aunt's locker key first. That's why everyone thought that Reina's ghost had killed Maiya for revenge."

"And the reason why Riri was targeted by Maiya's spirit is also because of you, Eli."

"I? But why?"

"In exchange he's after the person you're with, which is Riri." Eli was stunned to hear my words.

"So you're saying Riri became like this because of me? Because that ghost is after me??"

I nodded, "Fine beings are usually like that. If he fails to reach his target then the people around the target will be affected. And it just so happened that the person who was near you back then was Riri."

"First the spirit possessed Riri's mind and made her hallucinate, spreading fear and anxiety, to make her mentally fall, then possessed her heart and made her stay away from people. Makes him doubt the people around him and stay away from his family. If left to hold the spirit it will rule Riri completely. And if it's like that we'll have a hard time expelling the creature from Riri's body because he thinks of Riri as his own."

"Then, how should we do?"

"We must keep Riri away from Maiya's spirit. And the only person who can calm Maiya down is your aunt, Reina. Reina is the reason she stays in this world."

"You mean you want my aunt to come to this town and meet Maiya's spirit? What if he hurt my aunt?"

"Your aunt doesn't have to come, I just want to borrow her voice. Your aunt just needs to talk on the phone. I'm gonna lure that spirit out to listen to your aunt's voice."
