Riri's Search

"Brains!" call Mr. Arya who was passing in front of the school guard house. He looked at me confused. "What are the nights here?"

I'm glad Mr. Arya passed at the right time.I explained briefly to Mr. Arya what happened to Riri. Fortunately he believed and managed to persuade the school guards. The three of us went to the school building.

We began to search the entire class on the first floor. There are six classes each level not including three practice rooms and one library as well as a teacher's room and archives. We decided to split up. Mr. Mong goes alone. I went with Arya sir. There were four classes that we checked, but the results were nil.

I tried calling Riri's phone again but she didn't pick up. I don't know what happened to him after I hung up. Is he hallucinating again? Or has the ghost taken her away from this place? I'm getting restless not calm. I repeatedly screamed for his name, he did not reply.

I tried to sense the evil aura of the creature from my strength. Yet futile. I was exhausted without success. Either because the building is spacious, or I can't concentrate because of panic.

From the middle of the field, I stared at the third floor. I suddenly realized something. I ran up the stairs to the third floor leaving Mr. Arya and Mr. Mong on the first floor. That locker, that ghost story, all came from grades 3-3. Maybe Riri was there.

"Relie!" I continued to browse the hallway while calling out his name. Class 3-3 doors are closed. I pushed the door and highlighted the entire room with a flashlight.

I stepped inside and checked the rows of tables and chairs one by one. Where's Riri? I checked into the usual closet in front of the class.

Riri is not in this class. Where's she? Ah shit! Should I ask him which class is he in? I need to calm down to find him. Think carefully Mel! If I were that ghost, where would I take Riri?

A bad feeling reached me, when I remembered the story told by Mr. Arya. I ran to another class. Class 3-5, the door opens as if to let me in.

I was stuck at the door. It is different from other classes. There's something evil hiding in it. I called Riri's phone again.

From inside the class I heard Riri's phone call. This time it was not wrong that Riri was inside. I ventured to step in. Just a few steps my chest felt tight. The air inside feels hot and stuffy.

I followed Riri's phone ringing. His voice came from the closet. The door opened a little. This cabinet is usually used to store items for class purposes. Is it possible that Riri is hiding inside?

"Sheaven..!" I called again while opening the closet.

"Bruck!" My gaze shifted towards the classroom door that was suddenly closed. That thing is going to lock me and Riri in here?

At the same time the figure hiding in the closet was lunging towards me. I fell to the floor because of that sudden attack. Both of his hands were strangling my neck. I tried hard to let go of the two hands that were clutching my neck firmly. Is this human energy? Definitely not normal. Sickness and tightness.

I'm overwhelmed I can't breathe. In the dark I saw the face of my assailant I could not believe when I recognized the figure above me and was oppressing me.

"RI...RI...??" With an angry look on his face he strangled me. The subtle-beings had already possessed her and used her to attack me.

I reached for the water bottle I carried on my jacket. Half the water has melted. I splashed the water on his face, hoping it was still useful. He screamed in pain covering his face with both hands.

As soon as it came off, I immediately jumped back away from it. My breath and heartbeat beat fast hunting each other. My body was shaking with fear. His body does belong to Riri but the energy used to attack me is not the energy of a 12-year-old girl.

If I failed to escape I would have been suffocated to death. So like this is the form of a subtle creature that has possessed humans. My tears my eyes melted seeing Riri thrashing on the floor. While I failed to overcome my fear.

Unlike the subtle-creatures I used to see all this time, they couldn't hurt me. I touched my neck. It still hurts. But my heart hurts more.

My fault. If only trust his words and help him early then none of this would have happened. He won't fall down like this.

I kept watching him for a while. He roared furiously while crying. I was confused what else to do to help her. Does the water not work?

Riri coughed and had difficulty breathing. He's starting to calm down. I ventured to approach him again. When I was sure it was Riri I immediately hugged her.

"Relie!" Called him. His eyes are still closed. His body was limp and his face was very pale. I rubbed his face with my jacket sleeve.

"I beg you, Riri! Open eyes! Don't scare me!" I said softly with a trembling voice holding back the cry. My eyes were hot with tears that kept on dripping.

I contacted Arya sir and gave her our location.

"Sir Arya, I've found Riri. We're in class 3-5. We can't get out because the door is locked."

Arya was in front of the class shortly.

"Brains!" Mr. Arya's voice called from behind the door. He and Mung tried to break down the door. When the door opened I felt relieved.

Mr. Arya holds Riri who is still unconscious. Then take him out of the room. Before going out I looked for the water bottle I was using. Half the water has been spilled but half is still frozen. I brought it back because I thought it might still be useful later.

I immediately ran after Arya and Mong sir down the stairs. But once I got to the first floor the terrace at the end of the stairs shifted suddenly before I could get outside.

"Brains!" exclaimed Mr. Arya panicked and surprised by the sudden incident. "Go to the other stairs!" Mr. Arya instructed to go to the other stairs.

I immediately ran to the other stairs, but not until the iron fence locked me again, and simultaneously the other stairs also experienced the same incident. I-i understand. The ghost wanted to lock me up at school alone in exchange for him letting Riri go.
