"Cellenne! Open door!" I kept calling from inside the room. But there is no outside authority. I doubt he's still there because I don't hear any outside noises. He must have left.
Huh! Should I wait in here until mom gets home.
The duarrr! Suddenly there was a loud explosion from below. Even the vibrations were felt at my feet.
"What's that sound?" I started to worry, thinking about the possibility. The room temperature rises to very hot. And as the smoke crept into the room, I started to panic.
"Cellenne! Open door! Uhuk! Huk!" I coughed as smoke was unintentionally inhaled as I shouted.
Celena must be careless again! I thought at the time. Now how should I? Shouting was futile if Celena was not home. Mom just got back in the afternoon. Screaming as loud as I could not my voice be heard until I left the house. I can only hope that someone/guard in front of the complex sees this fire and comes to my rescue soon.
Unfortunately our complex is too quiet, as almost everyone here leaves his house during the day and comes home at night. Likewise with children who play outside more often than at home.
While the guards often fell asleep or left the guard post, I couldn't expect it.
Our house was supposed to be equipped with a fire alarm, but it just so happened that the alarm was broken two days ago, and no officers have fixed it even though we have made a report.
You could say, I really was unlucky!
My body began to limp from lack of oxygen, unable to stand, I slumped and fell on the floor. That's when I heard the familiar laughter.
Damnit damnit! Apparently this was it. I should have guessed that. Rabbit can't just let me go.
So as the payday ends, he'll take my life? Fucking demons! I said before I fell unconscious for a while.
I gathered the energy to wake up. I used the chair to smash that window. The pieces flew up to scratch my cheeks.
Without caring anymore about the pain and heat that hit my face, I tried to get out through the window that was wrapped in fire. Then jump off without caring if my leg gets broken. Luckily I fell in the grass.
Apparently people were already crowded and trying to put out the fire. A man who saw me fall, tried to help me. I covered my face that felt like it was blistering, with my hand that was injured and covered in blood from broken glass.
While I was being treated, I would hear my mother's voice shouting my name and Celena.
"Cellins! Celena!" I saw the handak's mother barging inside but the neighbors blocked her by holding her hand.
"Let go! I have to go inside. My kids are in there."
"Calm down! The officer's trying to help them."
"How can I calm down..."
"Mother!" Seeing her panic like that, I immediately called out to her to calm her down. At least he knew I was out safely.
Mom turned around and immediately ran up to me.
"Celin, are you okay, son? You're okay, aren't you?" Ask me to check every inch of my body. And when he saw the wound on my face, the tear from before hung, immediately rolled down.
