Followed by the Chaotic Creature
Rain Chants And Ghost Hospital Part 5

Angga POV

"Rain girl ghosts often show themselves in the river and in front of your school when it rains, right? The victim was your schoolgirl and her body was always found washed up in the river after the rain. Is that not enough to prove that he's involved in this case?"

"I've met him. He looks calm and kind. I also did not feel any dark energy from him. So it doesn't feel like he's going to hurt our school students" Laila said.

"You've failed in spirit cases before. You said the spirit wouldn't hurt your school students. But what happened recently? Two students were almost victims. Are you still sure of your judgment?" hans.

"That-that's.." Laila seemed to have trouble defending herself. However, the school is his responsibility. Because for years his family had been guarding that school.

"It wasn't Laila's fault. The spirit rampage was triggered by a figure associated with memory during his life, making him aggressive. The problem has also been resolved, so there is no need to discuss it anymore" I said.

"That's what I want to say, Angga. We should not be fixated on our initial assessment of 'them' because their attitudes and actions tend to change depending on who they see or who they meet."

"Laila, have you ever met that rain girl? You must know what his abilities are?" ask Sika

"She sang every time she showed up. Probably sound. It's just a guess. I'm not sure yet" replied Laila.

"Arwahs that can use the ability of sound are more dangerous than normal, because the sound produced can affect the thoughts and emotions of people to hurt others."

"So you're saying, this spirit is influencing the perpetrator to wound his victims?" ask Sandy to Hans.

"True, this is my opinion on the case" Hans said.

"But this is just your guess. We have to prove it right or not before we go on a hunt and arrest" I said.

"How do I prove it? Do you know how?" hans said defiantly. We all fell silent. Even so we all know the answer.

Unseen attacks on humans have occurred repeatedly from year to year, eroding the number of people living in this city, but the perpetrators of the attack have never been revealed.

How hard we tried, we found no bright spot about who or what so wanted death, from people who had inner eyes like ours.

"The victims will continue to fall while we mess around looking for evidence we never found. When are we going to be like this? Shut up and just look without acting?" Hans.

"I agree with you, Hans," Sandy's words startled me and Laila. I thought he was on our side. "But the thing is that the ghost you're talking about is one of those people in the 'ghost hospital'. "

"A ghost hospital?"

"Hospitals that often appear and disappear suddenly. The people of this city call it that. So we call it that too. They handle supernatural things just like we do." Sika explained to Hans.

"My mother was in that hospital, that's when I met her. He stood by the doctor who examined my mother."

"What hospitals do they also handle humans?" ask Sika.

"Sometimes if it's an emergency. They also help our townspeople a lot too. It is not good if we provoke a dispute with them. Moreover, this is just a guess," said Sandy replied.

Hans looked unhappy. "Then, how now?"

"If it's true what Sandy said it's better to report this to the adults. They must know how to communicate with the people at the hospital, and in the meantime, we're handing the case over to the police. If the culprit is caught we can check it directly, whether he is under the influence of a subtle creature or not" I said.

"To avoid further casualties we will notify the school to tighten security around the school. And warn students not to do activities alone outside the home. We can also have some of our members go out in the field to directly monitor the point that is considered vulnerable" Laila added.

For a moment all was silent. From the beginning it was seen that we were divided into two camps. Gery, despite being silent today, always agreed with Hans and supported Hans' decision. And Sika too. Three against three, in the end this meeting only resulted in a debate.

"alright. We will agree in your ways. As long as there are no new victims. If a new victim appears, then we will take strong action!" Sika decided and ended the meeting.

"While you're here, you can help deal with some of those complaints. Perhaps you can find clues about this case," said Sika while pointing to a pile of letters that mount. "We'll go handle another case."

After that they left the three of us in the room with a stack of papers. In the end they just want to get us to work. Being the youngest member is no fun!

"Let's get to work!" laila encouraged herself. I know he's upset. Sandy doesn't want to complain anymore. He looks exhausted.

I don't know why I have such a bad feeling about this case. Hans does have a rough nature and likes it casually. But his intuition was sharp and his gut feeling was almost never wrong. I began to sort through the pile of letters. Sika may be right, I can get a hint from these letters.

"A few days ago I had a foreign guest who had suddenly entered my house without permission." Laila started reading the letters.

"He used to sit with us at the dinner table and watch tv with my family. Unfortunately, none of my family realized that. Then the next days the creature brought his friends into my house. And now my house is full of them. Please help me get them out of my house. I even had trouble getting out of my room."

Laila threw the letter as if the problem was over. Sandy and I looked at her with question marks.

"He got a new family member, why should he be expelled? Shouldn't he be throwing a welcoming party for the new members. And how long has the boy lived in this town? Shouldn't he already know what our city is like?" laila.

I can only smile at his words. Sandy shook her head.

Laila must also be tired and depressed even though she does not complain often. He was already preoccupied with schoolwork and assignments as a student council at school plus organizational tasks.
