Followed by the Chaotic Creature
Rain Chants And Ghost Hospital Part 6

Angga POV

Laila is the youngest member by age. His family is veterans of the organization. Almost all members of his family are active in the organization and he has been taught since childhood about his responsibilities and duties.

Once in Junior High he can naturally handle and control the subtle creatures in the school so as not to injure other students.

Although the incident that happened to Riri lowered his image in the eyes of the organization but did not reduce his charisma as a leader in the school.

Laila continued to throw the letter one by one bored.

"They're all the same! They complain about the city! Some say they're gonna get out of this town and move to another."

"That's why the human population in this city is shrinking. In addition to the deaths of some of the residents moved to other cities," Sandy said.

"Move to another city? Could that be a solution?" ask Laila.

"Some think like that" I replied.

"Is there no such thing as a ghost or spirit in other cities?"

"Some," I replied briefly.

"What if we get out of town we won't see ghosts?"

"Once you can see it forever you'll be able to see them wherever you go."

"Here we see a ghost, there we see a ghost. Here we meet them there, and we meet them. So where's the difference?"

"Most of us think if we get out of this city we'll be safe" I said.

Here those who have an inner eye like ours often get attacks from supernatural beings. Not a few died or disappeared without a trace. Because getting out of this city might save our lives.

"Are we not out there to die? Are we not gonna get hurt out there?"

Laila's question jolted us both. He's correct. Death belongs to whoever lives. Place is not the problem. Wherever we can die. The difference is only a matter of time. When will death come upon us and in what way will Death approach.

For a moment we were silent in each other's daydreams and only the sound of paper was heard back and forth.

"Hey look at this!" Laila showed us several sheets of mail with the same sender, Yana. That's the name of the second victim of the serial murder case we're dealing with.

November 15th

I accidentally saw her standing by the river, a girl in a white dress. His pale hands were holding umbrellas. I couldn't see his face but I knew he was watching me. From that day on he waited for me at the school gate and followed me home. He also watches my house. I don't know who he is but I know he's not human.

November 17th

Today at school I was attacked by an unknown person. I managed to escape and meet the girl again. He threatened me. He said I'd die if I saw him again. I was afraid to leave the house. Helpme!

My mom's dad who went out of town didn't come back. I contacted them but never picked up. They stopped giving me news. I don't think they'll come back to me. I've been locked up for three days. I don't care what happens to me out there anymore. No one cares about me anymore because my own family threw me away. This may be my last letter of request. Please bury me if you find my body. Because I don't think my family will ever return to this town.

Laila rummaged through the mail on the table.

"Nothing else. That's really the last."

I took the file sheet Hans gave me earlier. Yana was found dead on November 21. The day after he sent the letter. Then that day it really went out of the house and was killed.

The victim's parents went out of town on official grounds. Until the day of his son's funeral they could not be reached.

"What the fuck?! Why aren't they coming?! Do they really not care?!" grouse Laila was angry.

"Having a child with the ability to relate to subtle creatures is a heavy burden for parents. Even though they tried to accept it, it was very difficult. Many of them are scared and run away from their children in this city" Sandy said.

"Because of that, children are now more silent and shut up about their abilities. Because they don't want to be dumped by their parents?" Laila ascertained her opinion.

"Yes, you're right Laila," I replied as I reread Yana's letter. I feel something is strange.

"What's up, Angga? Did you find anything in the letter?" ask Laila.

"In the letter he said he threatened the rain girl. But he didn't say he was attacked by the rain girl. So the attacker was someone else. What if what he calls a threat is actually a warning" I explained.

"That means he knows about the perpetrator of this murder?" my word. Makes us all ask.

The sound of the ravens rumbling over this building is a sign of the coming danger. A bad feeling came upon me all of us while wondering in our hearts who else would die.

This hospital room is similar to a bedroom rather than an inpatient room. Alden, the young man who had gone back with a young male doctor. He greeted me and asked my sister about her condition and then checked on her. He wrote down the prescription and gave it to the young man next to him.

"Alden, go to our pharmacy and bring the medicine written there. Then ask Evania to prepare the food and all the needs of the patient."

"Good, doc."

After that he left the room. He's a pretty friendly doctor in my opinion even though he doesn't talk much. He's probably in his thirties.

The young man called Alden also left after reminding me not to go out of the room. I also had no intention of going out because it was impossible for me to leave my sister in a foreign place. I sat by his side and held my hands down. I hope it makes him a little better.

He half-awakened. Sometimes he was scared. The poor girl!

I don't know what scared him. The housekeeper said Jenny came home early and locked herself in her room. As soon as I checked she had a high fever. When I asked him he wouldn't answer.

I saw in the bathroom her school uniform was wet. Maybe it was raining because it was fever. He rarely talked about his school. Maybe he's afraid I'm worried about him.

Two female nurses came inside. One of the women pushed into a trolley filled with food. And another helped put the infusion together and check her body temperature.
