Behind The Lies

Behind The Lies
Inspiration

In the morning two dishes of fried rice are served on the table. Faran and Aruna enjoyed it casually.

“Mas, she is indeed my mother,” Aruna said after a long silence.

Faran's heart was piercing.

“The woman asked Dad to tell me that she was dead. He doesn't want me to look for him.”

“Keep now why is he looking for you?” ask Faran gently.

Aruna raised her shoulders. “Maybe want to atone for sins.”

“Then give him a chance.”

Aruna. “Mas, I'm afraid.”

“Iya Mas. If you want to meet, I can go with you. You better solve your problem soon. Or you can just let it all go.”

“Ikhlas,” murmured Aruna. “They are easy practices that are difficult.”

Faran smiled. “If it were easy, no one would come to a psychiatrist. All mental illness begins with a lack of sincerity. Whether it is sincerely accepting all that God has destined, or sincerely releasing those we love. Everyone will be at peace with the past if they already have that sense. Admit, forgive, forget, ikhlaskan.”

Aruna nodded. “Ikhlas is at the top of patience.”

“You were right,” said Faran agreed.

“My life is too much of a surprise.”

“Good, you've been trained for it.” Faran smiled.

“But, Mas, I so hate surprises,” whine Aruna.

“Iya, Mas know.” That's why Faran never gave him a surprise.

“Mas knows me more than myself,” praises Aruna.

Faran smiled. He then stroked the top of Aruna's head.

“Mas ...”

“Hm?”

“Maybe I am not yet worthy to be a mother,” thought Aruna.

Faran looked at his old wife.

"I'm afraid to disappoint my son."

“Ssttt .. don't ever think so. Instead you have to prove that you are worthy and worthy.”

Aruna pensive. Slowly, her tears came back down. Honestly, he didn't want to look back because he couldn't fix things without Faran.

At exactly nine, Aruna and Faran returned to the hospital. Faran had calmed her down last night and the man was already preparing to strengthen her again.

“Remember if the word Opa hurt you again, you just need to smile, do not be too taken care of. Look Edgar or Ashilla, they are very relaxed to face Opa,” said Faran in the hospital corridor.

Aruna nodded. “Maybe because I don't know my own grandfather. If Brother Edgar is with Ashilla, ‘kan is normal, they already know the character of Opa.”

“Then from now on you learn to understand Opa.”

Aruna nodded again, though she was not sure she could.

“Abony doesn't mean you lose. Precisely with you against you already won your ego.”

“Iya, Darling,” said Aruna while hugging Faran's arm.

Faran stared at the woman. Heart's floundering. This is the first time Aruna has called her darling after seven years of marriage.

“Thank you for all your patience,” continued Aruna.

Faran smiled. They finally arrived in front of Ganjar's nursery.

“Don't hear anything, other than a good thing,” Faran's advice.

“Iya, Darling.”

Again Faran smiled hearing Aruna call him dear again. Faran then opened the door and greeted Miranti.

“Finally you came,” said Miranti who was accompanying Ganjar watching television.

Slowly Aruna stepped in. There was a sense of raging within his chest until he felt the need to continue strengthening himself.

“Sorry Aruna just got here, Opa,” said Faran.

Aruna looked at Faran. Somehow he felt alien to his own family. Though usually feel alien are the daughters-in-law.

Faran turned to Aruna then nodded slowly.

“Opa.” Aruna approached and grabbed Ganjar's hand then, bringing the old man's back to his cheek. “Thank God, Opa is better?”

“Opa is healthy. You how are you?”

“Good, Opa.” Aruna then looked at Faran and the man smiled gently at his wife.

“Kata Faran you are sick?”

“Cannot be underestimated, wind is also dangerous,” said Anjar attention.

Aruna smiled stiffly. Unlike what he heard last night, this morning it seems Ganjar does not want to say bad words.

Aruna doesn't know how Miranti advised Ganjar last night. The old man finally realized that Aruna was also his granddaughter.

“How are you doing?”

“This month there is a plan to resign, Opa,” replied Aruna.

“Why?” ask Miranti quickly.

Aruna looked up, then smiled. “Mau join Mas Faran to Bali, Mommy.”

“Oh. Good though. Mother is also worried that you are alone in Germany. Poor Faran too, ‘kan?” Miranti patted Faran's shoulder. “If others where strong LDR-an.”

Faran smiled.

“Hm, Ayu must be happy. Every call he always stories, he said, pity Faran, loneliness, tired home no one ngurus.”

Aruna smiled awkwardly, even with Faran.

“If it is already round to stay in Bali. Frequently visit us here,” said Ganjar.

Aruna nodded.

Faran did not stop holding Aruna's hand. He could feel everything Aruna felt from the grasp of her hand. Aruna's emotions are stable. He hoped that Ganjar would keep his words from hurting his wife again.

“Tomorrow Opa you can go home. Thankfully Papa was finally able to be a guardian at Ashilla's wedding,” Miranti said.

Aruna smiled as she nodded.

“Ashilla is already in a panic, for fear that no guardian will marry her.”

“Can No Edgar,” says Ganjar.

“If there is still Papa, why should Edgar.” Miranti then looked at Aruna and Faran. “Iya, ‘kan?”

Both are compact nodding.

“Papa can be healed because of their prayers too,” Miranti continued.

Aruna and Faran smiled.

“After Papa comes home, we can focus on taking care of all the wedding preparations Ashilla and Angkasa.”

Faran gently patted the back of Angkasa's hand while smiling because he was relieved, finally Aruna no longer needed to hear hate speech from Ganjar.

“Opa, we say goodbye first. Aruna still needs rest,” Faran said. “Sorry can't take long.”

Ganjar.

“Delay between forwards.”

“Nevent gone, Bund. Mother, ‘kan must take care of Opa.”

Miranti smiled. “Opa you also have to rest.”

Ganjar shook his head when he saw Miranti leave his ward.

Miranti walked while embracing Aruna's arm. “Thank you for coming here. Mommy is actually tired of asking for your understanding Opa, but we all know his disposition, hopefully after this illness Opa changed.”

Aruna just nodded.

“Night Faran called and told me everything. Mother is sorry. You don't mind much, as long as there's a place to share, you're not alone. Mother supports your decision to resign.”

Aruna nodded again, but a second later she looked at her husband. He did not expect that Faran would tell Miranti the incident last night.

“Not wrong Faran. He only feels that you need time to come to terms with your past. Mommy agrees with Faran to bring you together with your mother.”

Aruna stopped walking.

“Why, Run?” asked Miranti in surprise.

“I don't think this is necessary, Bund.”

“Why?”

“Honey, Mas already said will accompany you, if necessary we can ask Mr. Yayan to come too,” said Faran.

“Down too. It's been delayed long enough. Mommy also initially felt that this was not necessary, but after Faran told you about your situation, Mommy thought there was indeed a time when you and the Goddess acknowledged each other. It's not good like this let alone you guys are bound by blood relations. Inevitably the Goddess is the woman who has given birth to you and Ashilla.”

“And Ashilla?” ask Aruna.

“Iya. He will come with you to meet the Goddess as well.”

Aruna then looked at Faran.

“We only need to set the time, and you just stay ready,” said Faran.

“As long as there is Mas, maybe I do not need to prepare anything.”

Faran smiled. “Not so, you still have to prepare yourself, because Mas can not promise anything if something happens later.”

“Faran is right,” says Miranti. “So far you have proven that you can live alone. You can achieve your dreams, now you should be able to show your stubbornness, never look weak. Mother knows you are strong.”

Aruna was pensive and Faran immediately kissed the top of his head. Consciously or not Aruna will depend on something that makes her comfortable and feel recognized. However, when he lives alone he does not need it because he is already quite sure of himself. He does feel more comfortable living away from people who will remind him of the past. Once again what Gusman applied has been transmitted to Aruna.
