“Who wants to start?” Bagas then looked at Naya. “You, Nay?”

Naya took a breath. “Another first aja.”

“Den, you first?”

Dennis shakes.

“Umam?”

Umam is like that too. He thought it would be better if the one who had the idea had first started it.

“Aruna?”

Aruna also nodded.

“Perhaps you should first,” Iyash said on Bagas.

The others nodded too.

“Good.” Bagas rubbed both of his palms. “At first this friendship was formed because of me and Dennis neighbors, we went to school together from our Kindergarten together. Then Junior High we met Umam and we formed a friendship, Umam himself was already friends with Naya and Aruna, until finally we were together, like Upin, Ipin, Ehsan, Memey and Susanti.”

Umam smiled cynically as he shook his head. He already knew that Bagas would portray himself like Ehsan.

“I like Aruna because she's smart and even she's not as stingy as Dennis. If we don't understand, we'll ask Aruna to explain it again, and Dennis will never explain to us if we miss a lesson. That's what I like about Aruna, so if you think I want to date Aruna you're wrong. I just love that and I miss the old Aruna, before Iyash.”

Iyash soaked his throat and took a deep breath.

“I prefer the cheerful and slightly frontal Naya, but even that I like her as a friend because I do not like her when she imposes her wishes on others.”

Naya's heart is beating.

“While with Dennis and Umam, I have no problem, for me they are very pleasant to be friends. While you know I don't really like Iyash because of him,” Bagas looked at Iyash, “maaf, Yash.”

Iyash.

“Because I think he's arrogant, usually city people are arrogant if they live in the village, especially after getting a class champion and his cynical attitude to Aruna. But after the day I saw him give Aruna a cell phone to call Iqbal in the school backyard. I think I was wrong.”

Aruna looked at Iyash.

“I was curious and followed them to the cafe, it turns out they planned their departure to Jakarta and all night I could not sleep thinking about it, it turns out that tomorrow Iyash and Aruna really went to Jakarta, Jakarta, I think Iyash is big-spirited because he wants to take Aruna to meet Iqbal in Jakarta, but at the end of the day they are dating.”

Bagas then silently looked at Aruna. “Maybe it's just that. Now it's another turn.”

“I,” said Aruna as she straightened her body. As you said before, we were not so close at first and were just classmates. I could join because I thought only Naya would be friends with me.” Aruna looked at Naya.

“I'm glad to be of benefit to you, Gas.” Aruna smiled, then looked at Iyash at a glance.

“Actually I knew Iyash from a long time ago, before he entered High School, I knew he was his cousin Kak Iqbal and often vacationed here. Every time he comes here secretly I see him often. When he was in High School here, I was surprised, the night I could not sleep preparing the first day of school would be like what if there was Iyash.”

Iyash smiled slightly. He thought only he felt that way.

“When I asked for my introductory narrative paper, but Iyash instead pricked me by throwing his narrative paper, I actually wanted it to smile, because I didn't think he was doing this. However, when there was Dennis, I was embarrassed.”

Iyash smiled back at the incident, but he did not know that it was actually happening.

“I kept quiet, I pulled away and pulled away, not because Iqbal left, but I had my own life problems. I wanted to tell you that time, Nay, but I heard you talking about me if you wouldn't have met me if I hadn't pinter, I didn't, you are actually embarrassed to have a friend of a tea picker's child like me and you talked this to Umam, even though Umam did not respond at that time, but I was hurt.”

Naya fell down instantly.

“You said that by grouping with me, your grades are always good. I'm glad to be of use to you, Nay.”

Iyash clasped Aruna's hand.

“When I was alone and away, you guys just kept moving away and kept talking about me, you said I was sad because Iqbal left, but you never asked me what really happened.  Until I feel that the most sincere person is Iyash.” Aruna looked over and looked at the young man.

“Every morning, from her bedroom window she looked at my window to make sure I woke up refreshed. He'll look for me if my bedroom window's closed all day. He'll let me go to school first and stay behind me. You know what I was thinking at the time. She cares.”

Aruna then bowed. “He was the first to say a spicy sentence, but it didn't hurt me. That's why I asked him to take me to Jakarta to find my real mother, not to see Kak Iqbal, as you would expect.”

At once everyone was flabbergasted looking at the crying Aruna, while Iyash was still clasping his hands. Iyash knows every time Aruna uncovers about her mother, it will make her feel hurt.

“Since then I feel only Iyash is sincere. When I spent a lot of time with her, you guys quipped, not asking questions carefully and until this moment I realize one thing if I do not have friends because friends must be happy to see other friends happy.”

Aruna fell deeper and continued to cry. Even with Naya who also did not dare to raise her face.

“I've even heard that you guys say I only use Iyash for my benefit,” continued Aruna.

Iyash shook his head. He disagrees because he never felt that Aruna was using him.

“But, you need to know, I liked Iyash a long time ago. Before she moved and went to school here, I liked her a lot when we both graduated Elementary and she was on vacation here. I was picking tea and he took a picture of me, then gave me the shot. That's where I feel like I just liked someone,” Aruna said.

Iyash's heart is beating. He just found out that Aruna also liked it.

“Run, I'm sorry,” said Naya slowly.

“If you think I'm using Iyash. You guys are wrong, I just feel like I won it and I ..” Aruna turned to look at Iyash, “sayang with him. I wanted to marry her not because she was the son of a rich man, but because I was afraid of not getting a man as good as Iyash. Iyash is too good to be hurt.”

Iyash smiled looking at Aruna. He then grabbed the girl's shoulder.

Naya tried to raise her face and looked at Aruna. “Run, I previously apologized for not being able to be a good friend.”

Aruna smiled then rubbed Naya's shoulder. “Nothing. I'm not good either.”

“Naya want to respond?” ask Bagas.

Naya nodded.

“I know that Iyash liked you a long time ago, when I expressed my feelings for him, he said that he was having a crush on another girl. When I asked who, he said, a girl who made him unable to glance at another girl.” Naya then looked at Aruna. “And I'm sure it's you, Run.”

“Why can you be sure?” ask Aruna.

“I often find him stealing looks at you, I also often see him cleaning classes when your picket schedule. He often rests your bike on a tree when someone else accidentally drops it. He also secretly pumps your bike tires when it looks less wind.”

That detail Naya noticed Iyash. Everyone didn't think that Naya was holding back her jealousy to such a deep extent.

“Some Bagas knows how I feel, because he's the most neutral among the others, he's often cynical, but at least he never sided with you, Run. Sorry that I hurt you so much. Honestly I'm just jealous.”

Aruna nodded.

“There again, Nay?” ask Bagas.

“Udah.”

“Who else? You are free to talk about what is important after this you feel relieved and our relationship must be better than before.”

“I,” says Umam. “I did like Aruna from a long time ago, from Junior High, but I realized that I couldn't possibly be her boyfriend, Aruna knew because many times I revealed it, I felt it was natural that he was avoiding me because he might be uncomfortable, even though many times he said it was okay.”

Aruna closed her eyes. “It looks like all the problems are with me.”

Iyash shook his head while still holding the hand of the long-haired girl.

“The arrival of Iyash makes me even more sure that I and Aruna are like earth and sky.”

“You see, the problem is with me,” Iyash told Aruna.

“Udah, I have no problems with others,” added Umam.

“Iyash want to respond?” ask Bagas.

“Later, Dennis first, who knows much more important.”

Dennis smiles. “I have no problem, you are the same Aruna I have no problem, I am happy when Iyash joined our group. I didn't care when Iyash beat me and won my class, after all, that rank only happened when Junior High, while my grade school time dropped because I was stressed by the divorce of my parents. Bagas knows everything I've been through. I don't have time to think about your problems, Run, sorry.”

Aruna's heart is beating. He thought he was the hardest it turned out Dennis also had family problems, however, amazingly Dennis can still smile.

“Bagas story that Iyash drove Aruna to Jakarta because he heard himself when Aruna asked for it. I suspected it wasn't about Iqbal because I knew that Aruna wouldn't go after men that crazy, moreover, I know that in fact he has rejected Iqbal because I heard it myself when Iqbal spoke to his friend that he had just been rejected Aruna.”

Aruna smiled. He finally has a witness to this.

“There again, Den?” ask Iyash.

“Neither.”

Iyash smile. “I have to say what?” He sighed. “In addition, I am happy to be able to join you. I've talked a lot and Dennis was the most open, he asked directly what exactly I was doing in Jakarta with Aruna. I said, if in fact this is a personal matter and has nothing to do with Mas Iqbal.”

Dennis nodded.

“If only you cared more. Try to get used to asking questions, without having to guess because we do not know what problems our friends are facing.” Iyash instead gave advice as if he was an elder.

“I've told you that what I feel is out of my control. I liked Aruna the day I gave her first photo in the tea garden at the time, but unfortunately I didn't have the courage to get acquainted with her.”

Iyash looked at his four friends. “Just like Dennis, I don't have any problems with you either.” He looked at Aruna. “As for Aruna, everything I've revealed, but who knows you guys want to hear.”

Iyash paused and looked at his friends, then ended up at Aruna.

“So, why do I act cold or sometimes I look like I hate Aruna. It was all because I felt insecure about my own feelings, let alone looking at Aruna's judges look, I felt like I had no chance, but after he asked me to drive him to Jakarta I felt that I had just had the chance to get close to him. Aruna's smile at that time made me not want to see her gloomy face again.”

Aruna bowed and hid her red cheeks.

“So, I promise that I will try to make him smile as much as I can,” the young man added.

Suddenly there was applause from Bagas, followed by Dennis and Umam, while Naya did not follow them. Even though he was trying to accept the situation.
