There is no word yet on where Edgar is. The originally crowded house looked so quiet. There will usually be Edgar's joking laugh at the dinner table and there will be the sound of Ganjar deheman to calm the chaotic atmosphere.
Asa will shout stir her Om pranks. “Mothers, Om Edgar Naughty. Now that Asa looks so limp, she is lazy and complains about not wanting to go to school.
Every meal that went into Miranti's mouth felt so bland, there was only bitterness she felt. Tears break down in every mouthful.
Ashilla sighed looking at Miranti like that. Previously Miranti had never been this sad.
“Bund, I'm the same Space will find Brother Edgar.”
“Where are you looking?” asked Miranti with a downcast face. “Sister you may not want to go back.”
“Sir Edgar is definitely back, Bund.”
“If he is indeed going home, he will tell us where he is now.”
“She is in Surabaya,” a voice in front of the door that is already open.
Everyone turned to the origin of the voice that had not been seen who the owner of the voice was.
A pair of feet stepped up and approached. “Overnight, I asked my friend who is a police officer to track down the whereabouts of Mr. Edgar,” Marissa said.
“Where?” Miranti got up and was about to get closer. However, Marissa had already gotten close to him by running, so as to hold Miranti to remain seated.
“Here, Bund.” Marissa showed me her phone screen.
Everyone was silent looking at Miranti and Marissa. The series on Miranti's face has returned and it makes Marissa feel she has become the antidote to the wound in Miranti's heart.
“He where, Bund?” ask Ashilla curiously.
Instead of answering. Miranti got up and left the dining table.
“Mother where to go?” ashilla asked and got up and went after her.
“Mother should follow your Brother. He's in Surabaya.”
“What's he doing there, what if it's just a bouquet, let Mommy be happy?”
“Mother is sure she is indeed there.”
“Why can Mommy be so sure?”
Miranti. He then looked at Aruna who had just been silent and not even gathered last night.
“Run,” call Miranti. He then gestured for Aruna to get closer to him.
Aruna turned to Faran, then got up and approached Miranti.
“You used to live in Surabaya, ‘kan?” ask Miranti.
Aruna nodded.
“You may know, address given Marissa.”
Aruna shakes.
“Cha,” call Miranti. “Show.”
Marissa quickly showed me her phone screen.
Aruna was instantly moved. His memories floated on that place again, a place that had many memories of him with his father. A place that made her realize she should have stayed. A place that makes him clueless about his father's wounds.
“You know, ‘kan?” ask Miranti to make sure.
“Jawab, Run,” says Ashilla.
Aruna rejected all her thoughts. “Create what Brother Edgar is there. Have what purpose? Marissa must have lied about this.”
“I don't know either, but, I believe that Brother Edgar is here because my friend cannot lie,” replied Marissa.
Marissa ignored Ashilla. He looked at Aruna and confirmed that Aruna knew the place. He's very sure. “You know that place, ‘kan, Run?”
Aruna. He knows, but he doesn't dare to say it. But he also cannot lie.
“Aruna answer!” ashilla's shout made everyone gasp. Actually Ashilla was annoyed because many times Miranti ignored him and did not even look at his face.
Faran and Angkasa instantly approached towards them.
“Create what Brother Edgar went to where I grew up. What's Edgar's business there?” Aruna's voice was shaking.
Everyone was surprised to hear that. Ashilla's question was answered with another question. However, there Miranti got an answer.
“What?” Ashilla frowned. He asked Miranti again. “Mother, what is this?” He was pretty sure Edgar wouldn't leave for no reason.
Miranti. He couldn't have said that Edgar had gone there to find his father's family. He knew that it was where Hasa came from. Actually he did not need to ask Aruna that, because he was also surprised that Gusman and Aruna had lived there.
The world is so narrow, everything is easy with friendship. It's just that everything becomes difficult when humans break with other humans. That's what happened.
“Cha, thanks for helping. Now you can go, want to work, ‘kan?” miranti.
Marissa nodded. “Sya, Bund. Then Icha pamit.” He also kissed the back of Miranti's hand. “Kak Aruna, Kak Ashilla, Icha leave first.”
Ashilla glared, while Aruna herself did not turn her head.
Marissa was aware of the tense atmosphere. He can't be there because he's nobody. He was just a person who happened to get to know the family.
“From now on, Mommy didn't answer my question, but I'm sure Mommy is hiding something. Brother Edgar can not go without news, let alone ignore us all here.”
Ashilla was still with her questions and her beliefs. Now he accuses Miranti, but he will not accuse her if nothing happened last night.
Miranti did not answer. She had intended to go to the room instead, but Ashilla held her back by saying, “Let me tell you everything.”
Miranti's footsteps were restrained.
“You never told me,” Ashilla said to Aruna, “if Iyash lives in Surabaya with his paternal grandparents.”
Aruna. Why would Ashilla have to say that in front of Faran.
“That's why Brother Edgar went there. I think he already knows who his real father is.”
Aruna cringing. “What do you mean?”
Space and Faran were no less surprised.
“Bund, if Mother does not say everything. Don't blame me if–”
“Ashilla's right,” says Miranti fast. “Edgar to there looking for his father.”
“What is his father Om Hasa?” guess Space.
“Not possible.” Aruna backwards. However, his back hit Faran's chest. And Faran quickly embraced it.
“Sorry, I was just guessing,” Space said.
“Say that Space is right, Bund,” forcibly Ashilla.
Miranti sighed. He then shook his head. “This is just a misunderstanding. He went to Surabaya to look for his father, but that does not mean it is the person Angkasa mentioned,” denied Miranti.
Ashilla clucked because Miranti didn't want to be honest. He was confused as to why everyone in his family was so heavy telling the truth. Both of his hands were clenched tightly. Her chest was turbulent and wanted to shout that she was honest and that Miranti was lying.
“You continue eating. Mother must go.”
“Let us intersect, Bund,” says Angkasa. “We can go there together, ‘kan?”
“Nothing, Mommy can be alone.” Miranti went to the room, while some people were stunned.
Aruna herself was confused by all this. He thought that Miranti was a female figure who always accepted the situation by telling the truth and it was always followed by Ashilla. But now they seem to be both different. He was pretty sure that Ashilla wasn't lying, maybe Miranti.
