Behind The Lies

Behind The Lies
Mused

Ashilla panicked at her own lies. “Where if we go tonight,” Ashilla pinta in Angkasa.

Space has been patient enough and does not interfere further, but Ashilla instead involves it.

“Please. Because Opa also do not know about this problem, from the start I help pregnant women to the end of the kayak gini tuh Opa do not know.”

“Why haven't you told me the same story from the beginning?”

“All the busyness really makes me forget.”

“Ah can-can you just, whereas every time you meet the baby or every time you are close to Iyash, you already remember the same me, well remember that why not say? Ask to break up, ask for your own. If you tell me everything I will also not be asked to ask for access to your social media. I'll try to understand you,” Little Sky is upset.

“Sorry, Dear.”

“Now you solve your own problems. I want to go home,” said Angkasa as he got up.

Ashilla scowled and held Space's hand. The man looked over and looked at the lover. “Nikah yuk,” take Space while sitting back next to Ashilla. Space is always serious when it comes to marriage. However, Ashilla instead laughed and considered it as a joke.

Space stumbled. He no longer knows how to convince Ashilla.

“I have to go home, Honey, from yesterday have not met Papa.”

Slowly Ashilla let go of her hand. Space bent down and pecked at the top of his head. “Bye.” The man then went and said goodbye to Asa and Pak Ganjar.

“Om, thank you, Asa likes his car,” Asa said while showing the remote car that was just bought by Angkasa.

Angkasa held up his thumb while smiling.

“Still the chessboard. Shilla must have said that Opa had broken.”

Space smile. “No one said, Opa,” whispered Space. “Before going to New York we will have time to play.”

Ganjar laughs. “Opa forgot.”

From a distance Ashilla just watched. He wanted to hold the man down because honestly he really wanted to stay with him longer. However, Space deliberately left him. It may be true that only marriage will keep Space with it.

“If marriage can keep you here, yes we are married,” cried Ashilla and it made everyone turn to her. However, he was surprised at his own words, especially when everyone looked at him in shock.

Angkasa was no less surprised, a few seconds ago Ashilla laughed with his invitation and suddenly the woman behaved so. This must be a joke, he thought. And do not hesitate to laugh loudly because they think Ashilla's words are just guyonan.

Ashilla scowled and ran to her room. It made the space even more shocked.

“Angkasa!” pekik Ganjar's.

“Opa, I thought he was kidding.” Space quickly followed Ashilla to the room, but the door to the room was already in the key. “Honey, I'm sorry, I thought you were kidding,” he said as he banged on the door. “Sayang.”

The door opened and Ashilla laughed. “I was joking. Back there home.”

The heart of Space instantly melted. Slowly both of her legs retreated as Ashilla was about to hug her. Ashilla was surprised because she thought Angkasa would not be as angry as before. As the man turned around and was about to step up, Ashilla quickly said, “I'm serious.”

Space Legs restrained. However, he still turned his back on Ashilla. She was afraid that Ashilla would laugh again and it felt creepy from before.

“Totally. I want to marry you.”

This time Angkasa turned around and smiled, then took a step and hugged Ashilla. But the woman laughed again, but Angkasa kept her in his arms.

Ganjar and Asa laughed happily.

“Light I thought of this,” whispered Ashilla.

Space continues to smile. “No application, marry directly,” whispered the man without letting go of hugs.

Iyash continued driving and stopped in front of his grandfather's orphanage. Without further ado she immediately asked the whereabouts of the baby that sister Rika had brought yesterday.

Sister Rika came out from behind the wall holding Lily. “Sorry, Sir.”

“Lily.” Iyash quickly takes over Lily from Sister Rika's embrace. “Why, Sus?”

“Sorry, Sir. It's better for Lily to be here because it looks like Ms. Ashilla doesn't want to take care of Lily. Even he who forced me to bring Lily here,” lied the woman.

“What?” Iyash. “Can-can he so.”

Sister Rika nodded. Iyash did not seem to have any suspicions about this.

“So all this time she just pretended?” muttered Iyash annoyed.

“As far as I can see it is indeed so, Sir,” is lying Sister Rika again. Though clearly he saw that Ashilla did not mind being Lily's adoptive mother, although initially forced to. However, the lies and slanders created by Sister Rika are so perfect, that Ashilla hates Iyash's actions and it seems that Iyash is also consumed with the game.

Iyash really felt lied to by Ashilla's gentle face and attitude towards Lily. Ashilla can act as if she is ready to take care of this poor baby. Ashilla is too selfish and does not think about her surroundings. In fact, it is faster to forget so that it seems to have no empathy.

“Yash, Lily will be healthier to stay here because there will be many who pay attention to it,” said Yani, wife of Marwan the caretaker of the house.

Iyash. “Then I leave him, lest anyone adopt him.”

Yani and Marwan nodded. “We will take care of her until you get married and bring Lily with your little family.”

Iyash smiled bitterly. “Married to whom?” thought.

“With women oruh, Nak,” says Yani.

“Many women, Mom. Iyash can even get four at a time if he wants,” kekeh Marwan.

Iyash returns the little baby to Sister Rika. He then sat on the sofa.

“Don't mind much, Son. There will also be a soul mate, as long as you are sure,” said Yani. “Mother wishes you the best.”

“Thank you, Ma.”

Iyash took a long breath. The woman he wants to marry is only Aruna, but now Aruna has changed. Aruna was no longer the woman he knew. Even the woman had forgotten all her memories.

Returning from the parlour, Iyash went home and along the way he pondered over this incident. He went into a room and sat down in front of a table while staring at a portrait of Aruna mounted on the wall. This time the smile she used to see was so sweet, it looked heart-wrenching. His love does not clap one hand, but more painful than that.

He opened Aruna's diary. The woman's last record has been her belief for the past ten years. That's why he never thought Aruna was dead.

Slowly Iyash put all his books and photo albums with Aruna into the cardboard and put them together. He had given up and perhaps Aruna had forgotten about it. Her belief with Ashilla became so thin. He doubts that Aruna still remembers him and that Aruna may have forgotten him since leaving ten years ago.
