Behind The Lies

Behind The Lies
Get Punished

The next morning they set foot in the school building. Everyone stared at them, even as Iyash walked behind Aruna and walked into the classroom, everyone compactly cheered the two of them.

At that time one of their friends named Hambali immediately ran into the classroom and gave an announcement regarding the arrival of Iyash and Aruna. “Considerations, I tell the invited guests that the two bride-to-be will enter the reception hall, please give a lively welcome.”

The whole class cheered and clapped. Of course Aruna and Iyash were shocked to the point of being unable to say anything and the two just looked at each other.

“Include, I am Hambali, the guardian who will marry Iyash and Aruna,” cried Hambali in front of the class.

Slowly Aruna bowed and stepped to her seat followed by Iyash from behind. Aruna then sat down near Naya, while Iyash sat near Umam.

“I myself from KUA,” said Fahri as he advanced to dapan.

“I as a witness from the female side,” said Susan while rising.

“I too,” said Mutia, his countryman.

“While you are all witnesses of Iyash,” said Hambali.

Actually they are just mocking Iyash and Aruna because the news of their departure for the week in Jakarta has spread throughout the class.

Aruna could only bow in her chair. Naya, Dennis, Umam and Bagas compact silenced them. Sometimes Iyash looks at Aruna. He wanted to scold everyone who made fun of them, but he didn't want to make a fuss because he knew that his friends were just joking.

Hambali, Fahri, Susan and Mutia approached Iyash's table. “How is Yash, you are ready?” ask Fahri.

Iyash was silent while drenching his throat.

“Aruna seems to be impatient to marry you,” said Susan.

“Hm ...” Hambali cleared his throat, then grabbed Iyash's hand, while Iyash himself was silent and did not oppose the mockery. “I married Iyash Wiyahasa Ardhana to my only Princess Aruna Anastasya binti–”

Instantly Aruna got up and pushed the chair, she then waltzed away to get out of the classroom and it left the rest of the class flabbergasted. Hambali, Fahri, Susan and Mutia chuckled as they managed to make a very memorable joke for Aruna.

Iyash himself just stared intently at them.

“Wuuuu ..” The cheers of the whole class made Aruna's friends furious.

“Quietly, the groom is trying to convince the bride,” cried Fahri.

Susan and Mutia chuckled again, this time followed by another laugh. “Si Fahri same Hambali jago also make people upset,” said Susan.

The low noise of the entire class immediately turned silent due to the arrival of Mr. Rustam. “Ada Iyash and Aruna?” ask Mr. Rustam at the door. However, the entire class could only fall silent. “Why? I asked Iyash and Aruna there?”

“Out, Sir.”

Mr. Rustam is gone. Before long they hear the call through the speaker. “To Iyash and Aruna awaited in Pak Gusti's room.”

Iyash and Aruna who were sitting under the backyard tree were flabbergasted to hear the call.

“One more time, to Iyash and Aruna awaited in the room Mr. Gusti.”

Iyash took a breath. “Run,” call him on Aruna.

“I'm sorry for involving exemplary students into my troubles,” Aruna said as she rose.

Iyash did not give any response, instead he felt happy because of the many male friends Aruna, the girl chose herself.

Aruna quickly went to Pak Gusti's room and Iyash quickly followed him.

Arriving in that room. Without further ado Mr. Gusti immediately gave the punishment. “You're truant. Why only two days?”

Aruna sighed and bowed.

“You're naughty too, Yash. You think you're not going to break school rules? It's up to a lie, ck-ck-ck.” Gusti shook his head. “You will get a penalty.” Mr. Gusti believes that the advice they have received since yesterday.

“Cleaning ******. Aruna *****women and Iyash ****men.”  Now, quickly do.”

Iyash nodded, then went out first from Mr. Gusti's room followed by Aruna. All the students in the class are learning Indonesian.

“Iyash,” call Aruna half screaming. “I'm really sorry,” he said full of guilt.

“Not to think about, Run, I'm sorry you.”

“I forgot you exemplary student.”

“Not to be heard again. I'm also not as perfect as you think.”

“But, indeed yes, ‘kan?

“I have a target, Run.”

“I want to get a scholarship and study abroad,” replied Iyash while still brushing the floor.

Instantly Aruna fell silent and pegged in front of Iyash. Slowly Iyash raised his face and looked at her. “Why?” tanyanya.

“I'm amazed by you. You're a rich kid, you're a granddaughter of people, but you're still thinking about a scholarship for you to college.”

Iyash again brushed the floor, his lips flimsy because he had just been admired by Aruna. “Scholarship for children of achievement, not for children of people who do not have it, ‘kan?” Iyash said calmly.

Again Aruna was silent in front of Iyash. Somehow in a second, suddenly the girl crouched down in front of Iyash who again brushed the floor.

“Oath, Yash. I really did not expect, when you ngarahin camera to my calf,” Aruna tapped Iyash forehead with her finger joints, “I think your brain is empty, no contents.”

Iyash grieved and kept his head away from Aruna's hands while smiling cynically.

“Not expecting here.” Aruna knocked back Iyash's forehead. “Reacted to have its contents.” Then the girl got up and what she did left Iyash flabbergasted.

“Later to teach me to be a class champion, Yash,” added Aruna while looking to go to the bathroom next door.

“Do not pretender, we are rivals,” shouted Iyash.

“But for this year, I haven't been able to beat you. Like we can not compete, we should be partners, Yash,” shouted Aruna no less loudly.

Iyash's heart beats when Aruna asks him to be a partner. His hand movements suddenly slowed down as the thump behind his chest had just taken hold of him that morning.

“If you get a scholarship, where do you want to go to college?” ask Aruna.

“Valencia Spain. I want to be an architect,” replied Iyash.

“Hah? What, Yash? No wonder.”

“Valencia Spain. I want to be an architect,” cried Iyash.

“Wow. If you have succeeded as an architect, please make me a house and garden that can make me feel at home there, in the garden should be all white flowers, there should be no color other than white, white,” shouted Aruna.

“Hm, it's a small mah.” Iyash got up and flushed the floor he had brushed. “If you want to study in which country?” ask Iyash.

“I?” Aruna was silent for a moment. “Do not go abroad alone I am not sure can.”

Immediately Iyash dropped the dipper into the bucket and then went to Aruna. “Why not? Indeed, if you do not go to college, what do you want?”

“Nikah.”

“Loh, not working?”

Aruna turned around and straightened her body in front of Iyash. “Nikah aja yuk.”

Seeing the look on Aruna's face, Iyash was very sure that the girl was just joking, considering yesterday he said that he did not want to get married. “He does not want to,” said Iyash while thieving.

“If I want to be with you,” Goda Aruna.

Iyash laughed. However, his heart did not reject Aruna's invitation, regardless of a joke or not.

Aruna herself laughed, but her laughter seemed clumsy and forced. “If there is sustenance, I want to study English Literature, then I want to be a Lecturer in English Literature. I think that's impossible, Yash. I can't attribute dreams too high, fear disappointment.”

Aruna then turned back and bent down to flush the floor that was already on her brush.

“You are free to dream, Run. No one will ban and just hang your dreams as high as the sky.”

“You didn't hear me say that I was afraid of disappointment,” said Aruna without looking.

“Listen. Wish not to be equal to man, hang dreams as high as despair and hope to the Creator, then He will say kun, fayakun.”

Instantly Aruna fell silent and stopped flushing the floor, then turned to Iyash. “I am sorry because I have judesin you, when maybe from the first you can be my spiritual teacher.”

Iyash laughs at his jokes and returns to****man.

“Please take note, you and God will testify. I want to study literature in New York.”

“Yes. I've already noted.”

“Print in your heart, Yash.”

Iyash soaked his throat and looked at the girl's back.

They immediately finished the work as the break time was about to start. After much of what Iyash went through with Aruna, he didn't mind missing two hours of lessons today and four hours of lessons on Saturday because Iyash could learn a lot from Aruna. For him experience is the best teacher.
