Ashilla stood at the door of Aruna's room. “Run,” call it while tapping.
Aruna blinked and immediately rubbed her wet cheeks. Then he walked over and opened the door. “Ashilla.” Both cuddle.
Ashilla smiled. “Thank you for coming.”
Aruna shook her head while breaking her embrace. “I'll go home where I should be. Why do I stay in the country of people while my family is here.”
Ashilla smiled again. “You're crying?”
Aruna immediately wiped her cheeks. “I just remember dad.”
“I'm sure it's not about dad, ‘kan?”
“Means?”
Ashilla pulls Aruna by the hand and takes her to the living room which happens to be just a few steps away from the room that Aruna occupied.
Aruna's footsteps stopped when she saw Iyash sitting on the sofa.
“What do you mean, Shill?” asked Aruna without looking. “You think I cried because of her?”
“Run, please listen to me.”
Aruna stared at her twin sister. “I hope you don't interfere with my problems. You better focus on your wedding alone, I'm not here because of her, but because of you and Opa.”
Iyash's heart slipped and he immediately rose.
“You listen to me. I know my life has been complicated enough and I just want one of my problems to be done,” Ashilla said.
“What's your problem with Iyash?” ask Aruna.
Ashilla was silent for a few seconds, until finally Iyash came closer. “All that was my fault. I thought he was you. I often make Ashilla and Angkasa misunderstand.”
“Now you already know, so stop and stay away from us,” said Aruna firmly.
Iyash. “I can't, Run.”
“Why? After all you have also continued your life, yes, ‘kan?” Aruna gave a pause. And in that pause Iyash realized that the sentence that Aruna had thrown just now was calm Nadine.
“All is not as you think.”
“Yes, you are right. But I beg you. You better go.”
“I won't go!” yelled Iyash furiously. Because Aruna repeatedly threw himself out without giving any explanation.
“No need to shout!” peeking Aruna louder. “Last you yelled at me, your car hit a truck and we crash,” Aruna said.
Immediately Iyash was stirred. Suddenly he seemed to hear nothing more than Aruna's words just now that kept ringing in his ears.
Ashilla was flabbergasted staring at Aruna and Iyash alternately. He did not expect that the two would vent anger at each other like this. He thought they would express each other's feelings and forgive each other.
“Now you better go home,” pinta Aruna. However, Iyash was still staring and did not hear it. I don't know what makes Aruna this hard. He didn't even give Iyash the slightest chance.
“Run, why should you behave like this. Poor Iyash, he's like a madman waiting for you all this time.”
“He is crazy because he wasted his time on women like me,” said Aruna stuck.
Ashilla termangu's. Her forehead frowned at Aruna humbling herself in front of Iyash, considering that Aruna had been so proud of all her achievements and hard work.
“I–” Throat Iyash choked.
“Otherwhat are you waiting for? There's no point in you here, ” staunch Aruna.
“Explain everything, or I won't go an inch.”
Iyash turned his head and looked at Ashilla. The long-haired woman was wrong, of course Iyash wanted to live his old life with Aruna.
Aruna. He even forgot about it. He thought his last letter wouldn't make Iyash like this.
Aruna was startled as Iyash suddenly knelt in front of her. “The accident made me lose some of the memories I had. I can't even remember some of our memories.”
“Good,” tukas Aruna fast. He lost his empathy for Iyash, but his heart was wounded and did not expect everything to be like this. “You do not have to bother forgetting everything, even before you do, God has already granted your request.”
Iyash stared at Aruna. His head lifted and he saw how arrogant the woman was.
Ashilla herself was surprised to hear Aruna say so. He did not expect that his brother would behave this haughty. Before going to Jakarta Aruna asked him to keep it a secret that they were twins and Aruna even asked Ashilla to be part of her other self, just to make sure that Iyash still remembered her. Then what does all this mean?
“That's not an explanation,” said Iyash growled while crooked to his feet.
Aruna felt challenged. Perhaps if he explained everything, Iyash would go and stop approaching him.
Aruna pointed at her own chest. “I can what when your mom says I'm just a burden?” Both of Aruna's eyes were dewy and her voice was trembling violently.
“I can what when he blames me for everything that happened?” Finally the drop of dew fell from the corner of Aruna's eyes.
“I can what when your mother insulted me and asked me to leave your life?”
Iyash's heart is beating. Chest churned. He felt like he had been slapped a thousand times.
“Even God did not give me a chance to wait until you were human.” Finally Aruna succumbed to her own arrogance. He again pointed at his chest which had been feeling tight. “I .. I'm just a burden to you. I made you an accident. We had a fight and it was all because of me.”
Iyash shook his head and dragged his feet back.
Aruna took a deep breath, then looked at Ashilla. “I keep all that burden alone. Why did he forget?” aruna asked, pointing at Iyash. “Why did God just punish me? Trouble I tried to forget, but until this second–” Aruna pointed at her own head, “that bad memory still bothers my mind, my heart and even the life I've been living all this time.”
Ashilla shook her head and immediately hugged Aruna from the side. “Enough, Run. Enough.” He knows very well how Aruna struggles to rise from all the wounds she feels.
Why the bitter answer Iyash got? His brain is completely dead. He did not think that all this happened because of his own mother, it was fitting that no one knew where Gusman took Aruna. His mother even acts indifferent and considers that Aruna's death is not important.
“I'm sorry for forcing you to say everything. I'm sorry if you feel that wound again,” Ashilla regrets.
While Iyash lost thousands of sentences that he had prepared when he found out Aruna was back.
Ashilla takes Aruna back to the room. “Collect yourself. After you are really good, you can look at Opa at the hospital.”
Aruna sat on the bed, while Ashilla went out and went back to meet Iyash who was still sculpting.
“You've heard everything and you can go,” Ashilla said in front of Iyash.
“Shill, do I dream?” Iyash foolishly asked that.
“Please appreciate Aruna. Trouble he got up, even in the first year of his life after the accident, he was afraid to close his eyes and sleep, while I'm sure you can still sleep well.”
Iyash's heart is beating. Yes, Ashilla was right, even she kept sending letters to Surabaya for Aruna, all because she thought that Aruna was okay.
“Go, or later there will be angry,” pinta Ashilla.
Iyash was stunned and immediately he remembered Nadine, maybe Aruna thought that he had found a replacement for himself, but not at all. Aruna probably thinks that she and Nadine are not just friends.
“Listen, I want to repeat everything from scratch, I want to make up for Aruna's heartache. Tell Aruna I still love her.”
“From where do you know. Why are you sure that you still love her, is it because of the gallery in your room? All you felt was monkey love,” Ashilla said.
Ashilla is initially amazed by Iyash's long wait, but after learning that Iyash lost some of his memory and demands Aruna's explanation. He concluded that Iyash only wanted to collect the debris of his memory.
“You're right, for ten years I've never even felt lonely, other than there's only curiosity for the answers I want from all the questions in my life.”
Ashilla. Maybe Iyash just denied his own feelings. However, he could not guess, after all both Aruna and Iyash they had their own choices and paths to be happy in their own way.
