Behind The Lies

Behind The Lies
Lecturer of English Literature

Last night Ashilla got a call from Asa. However, she chose not to answer him for fear that his mood would ruin his conversation with Asa. He knew that Asa sent him a message, however, he chose to read it in the morning.

[Mom, work or sleep?]

[Good morning's. Sorry, Sweety, I was tired last night, so I went to bed early.]

After replying to a message from Asa. Ashilla started her day feeling a little forced. He was really curious, but he could not rebel when God gave him this path.

Since last night Ashilla tried to remember her past, but failed, she suddenly forgot all the events in her past, however, she, even continue to remember with Aruna and connect with the story that was once assembled by friends of Angkasa at the reunion event. In his shadow it looked so real.

While that morning Ashilla and Ganjar fell silent in front of the morning meal. I stared at the cup of tea and the chocolate jam bread. Suddenly he remembered Iyash. Angkasa tells him that Iyash likes chocolate jam bread. That memory managed to disrupt all of yesterday's events. Instantly he threw a plate of bread wrapped in chocolate jam.

Ganjar. “Shilla, why you?” tanyanya half snapped. However, Ashilla instead ignored him and continued to stare at Bi Sumi who was just standing in front of him.

“Whose chocolate jam bread is who?” ask Ashilla annoyed.

“No, Non, but every morning Non Shilla always this breakfast,” Bi Sumi replied scared.

“Stay!” tell the woman quickly. “I want vegetable and fruit juices, carbohydrates from bananas enterin all.”

“Good, Non.”

“Do not forget the vegetables wash until clean.”

“Iya, Non.” Bi Sumi immediately crouched down to pick up the broken plate that was scattered on the floor.

As soon as Ashilla's eyes fumbled, inexplicably yesterday's events still damaged her mood this morning. Didn't he try to accept all this last night?

“Why you? Hm? Any problems?” ask Ganjar.

“Many,” replied Ashilla as she got up and left the dining table.

“Where are you going?”

“Depart.” Ashilla kept on taking steps.

“Bi, the vegetable juice is not so, Ashilla is gone,” Ganjar said to the assistant.

“Good, Mr.”

In the car while Ashilla was driving she heard her phone ringing on the dashboard. Call in from Space. The man may have made the call at an inappropriate time. Ashilla couldn't even divert yesterday's events.

The phone kept ringing and it made his head hurt. Ashilla immediately pulled over to receive the call.

“Honey, where are you?” angkasa asked without further ado, apparently he was worried that Ashilla was with Iyash this morning. Yesterday he couldn't even sleep because Ashilla didn't answer his call.

Ashilla took a deep breath as she closed her eyes, she couldn't possibly scold Angkasa, but she was still annoyed at the question of Angkasa. “Indeed you think I'm where?”

“Let me guess. In room?”

Ashilla took a deep breath. “On the road to the office.”

“Oh my goodness I forgot.”

“Yesterday you did not answer my call, even though I did not sleep to be able to contact you.”

“I'm here again there is a problem and I ask that you do not contact me first for some time.”

“Kok is?” Of course the sky is astonished. The problem with who and why should it be inflicted on him?

“I need time to make my own.”

“Ngak-no. Shilla.” Space tried to keep Ashilla from disconnecting her phone, however, Ashilla still did. “Sial!” Meaning annoyed. Ashilla really made him angry.

Ashilla herself drove back, but not to the office but to a mall. After getting a parking space he went straight in and headed to the bookstore. He really wants to be alone.

Two hours he went around looking for some fiction and non-fiction books he wanted to read. After he finished paying and stepped out of the shop, he suddenly felt someone pat him on the shoulder. “Aruna?”

“Aruna,” shouted a woman as she hugged her.

Ashilla almost fell. It was enough, he was tired of being called Aruna, but he was curious because this was the first time a woman called him Aruna, so he chose to be quiet and not say anything, even he did not rebel at all.

“Gosh, you are getting beautiful,” said the woman after breaking her arms and continued to look at Ashilla. With both hands holding Ashilla's cheeks. “Soath is very beautiful, now more managed, this must be because Iyash, yes, ‘kan?”

Ashilla remained silent and did not respond. I don't know what he meant, but he didn't want to ruin the happy look on her face, so once again, he chose to be quiet.

“You forgot me?” ask the woman later. “Ten years no see. This is Naya, Run. Time forgot. Ah, but naturally anyway, last week, I just filled my nose with my chin, how? Beautiful, ‘kan? Although still beautiful you.”

Ashilla tried to smile, although heavy, but she still did.

“Yeah, still love reading novels by Jane Austine?” Naya took the book from Ashilla's hand. “No bosen? You used to read it over and over again.”

Ashilla tried to smile back.

“When you go to Jakarta, I go to Malaysia, join Budeku work there. And last week I just got back. Didn't expect to be found here,” said Naya while returning the book to Ashilla.

Ashilla just nodded.

“Now I work here.” Naya turned the view. “Jagain books. Every day I wish I could meet you.”

Ashilla's heart is beating. Maybe the woman in front of him doesn't know that Aruna is dead.

“I'm sure we'll meet because you love books and you'll definitely come here, and you're right, every time I believe something will happen.”

Ashilla frowned.

“Iya, Run, you used to say that.”

“N-Naya?” Ashilla stammered calling out that name.

“Iya, Run?”

“I am also happy to meet you here,” Ashilla said not so friendly.

Naya is surprised by the tone and style of speech of the woman she considers Aruna. “Hm, Run, your appearance is different. You must be a successful person by now. So where are the Lecturers?”

“You know I'm a Lecturer?”

“Yes, I remember, you used to say that you were going to be an English Literature Lecturer.” Naya embraces Ashilla's shoulder. “I'm proud that you succeeded.

Ashilla's heart is beating. Why, what's wrong with him? What was a coincidence that he decided to become a Literature Lecturer in New York?

“Sama Iyash how? I'm waiting for your wedding invitations, but until the tenth year there's no news of the wedding? Still the same him, ‘kan?”

Ashilla shook her head.

Naya sighed. “I guess you're still the same him. She loves you very much. Why break up?”

Ashilla did not answer, apparently she wanted to hear more of Naya's rapport and unfortunately Naya was completely unaware that she was not Aruna.

“And you guys are very suitable. In the past when your school became a scramble and Iyash who managed to approach you, even though we had thought you guys were hostile, uh after the incident you went to Jakarta, you guys became close.” Naya laughed considering the incident. “Ah, ck, why break up anyway?”

“Ke Jakarta?” Ashilla's forehead frowned.

“Iya, at that time we all thought that you miss the same Kak Iqbal continued to follow him there.”

Ashilla shook her head. “I don't remember.”

“Well time forgot? If Iyash remembers.”

Ashilla just smiled. Suddenly his phone rang and a call came in from Asa. “Awhile I pick up the phone first.” Ashilla then took a few steps forward and turned her back
