Everything is complete and ready to eat the dishes that Aruna bought from the restaurant. Actually Bi Sumi had cooked some menu for dinner tonight, but Miranti asked that Bi Sumi not serve it because she wanted to appreciate Aruna.
“Enak yes, no need to go to a restaurant,” Miranti said. “Luck Bi Sumi is not yet cooked,” he added.
Ashilla stared at Miranti. She knew that she had lied to please Aruna.
Ayu smiled looking at Miranti. While Aruna did not lift her face at all, she continued to bow while enjoying her food. Faran himself seemed mediocre, even he chatted with Edgar and joked with laughter with Asa, as if everything was fine.
It seemed that everyone was enjoying the food he had bought, even though he himself seemed to be unappetizing with his dinner, when he had already imagined how delicious all the food would be, and yet, he had, he even felt that what he ate was stuck in the esophagus.
At first Aruna was fine, even after receiving the test results she felt very healthy, but this incident made her sick.
Slowly everyone dispersed after enjoying his dinner, even Faran did. Only Aruna and Ashilla are still sitting at the dinner table.
“I'm sorry,” said Ashilla opened the conversation.
“Nothing, I'm sorry too. Sorry for always troubling you.”
Ashilla nodded. He got up and left the dining table. Aruna herself was still sitting in her place. He was confused, what exactly happened until Ashilla also had to behave like that?
“Abibi keep the rest in the refrigerator yes, Non,” Bi Sumi said while carrying the food.
Aruna nodded. Slowly then he too got up and went to the kitchen carrying all the dirty dishes and washing them.
“Let Aunty aja, Non,” says Bi Sumi. “Non Runa must be tired.”
“No, Bi.” Aruna continued her work. Tears are not stopping. Never make Aruna cry because once she cries, she will have trouble stopping her tears that seem to never end. The more she cried, the more she felt pain.
Bi Sumi stared at that back that was moving up and down. “Non.” He approached worriedly. “Let Aunty aja.”
Aruna couldn't take it anymore, she wanted to go berserk and throw all the stuff. He wanted to scream and curse himself. However, Aruna unconsciously crumpled one glass made of thin glass until the glass broke in her own hand.
“Non,” scream Bi Sumi panic. “Astaghfirullah.” Bi Sumi quickly brought Aruna's hand under the flowing water. He washed the blood that kept pouring from the woman's palm, the broken glass even stuck to some parts. “Non, why, Non?”
Aruna was moving her legs worriedly. However, he managed to shift the tightness in his chest to the pain in his palm.
“Abibi get red medicine.” Bi Sumi was about to leave.
“No need, Bi,” hold Aruna.
Bi Sumi paused her steps and turned her head. He stared at the blood that kept pouring under the swift tap water, plates and other furniture submerged in red water.
“Then Auntie call Mas Faran.”
“Nevent gone.” The torn wound from the shard was nothing compared to the chest tightness he had felt before. “I can treat this myself. Please just get a bandage, Bi.”
Bi Sumi nodded. He quickly picked up the P3K box that happened to be in the kitchen. Bi Sumi put it on the table. “Sit first, Non.”
Aruna also needed a chair because she had a headache looking at the blood that kept pouring from her palm.
“Non, this should be cleaned first, afraid there is a bell that is still attached.” Bi Sumi poured the red medicine into the cotton.
“Non sure, how about infection?” tanyanya while treating the wound.
Aruna grimaced, at least the wound could forget his sadness, even if only a little. “No will, my antibodies are strong enough to ward off the virus.”
Bi Sumi stopped. “If it is like that, yesterday-yesterday Non will not hurt,” his scolding.
“Different again, Bi, yesterday I caught wind.”
“Sama aja anyway,” snorted Bi Sumi.
Aruna smiled, but again her eyes were wet. Everyone, including even Bi Sumi who had no blood relation to him was still worried.
“I know Aunt is worried, but I'm really okay, Bi.” Aruna did not mean to seek attention, she just wanted to forget her sadness, so that she hurt herself, so that she only focused on the pain in her hands, not in her heart.
“Nothing what, the wound is big, Non. Look, not to mention these small injuries.”
Aruna nodded and did not dare to look at her own injuries.
“Don't be a whiz, Bibi knows this is sick,” scolding Bi Sumi while dressing the wound with a bandage.
Aruna felt insinuated, Bi Sumi's words reminded him of Iyash, the man said that he was pretentious, even though he was whiny.
“Aibi ...” Aruna laughed bitterly while crying.
“Hm.”
“Runa Bay,” Aruna said as she closed her eyes.
“Aibi stinks of onions,” says Bi Sumi without looking at it. Though Bi Sumi took care of Ashilla from the baby, but now Aruna was even closer to her.
Aruna shook her head as she opened her hands and asked to be hugged. He wanted Faran to embrace him, or his mother-in-law, but at a time like this he couldn't ask them because he just didn't want everyone to know that he and Faran were in trouble.
Bi Sumi hugged Aruna tightly. Since the beginning of Aruna set foot in the house, Bi Sumi had felt very fond of him. He knew every difficulty Aruna faced. It's not easy being him. He even felt hurt when Gusman died and Ganjar blamed Aruna for it. Just like this time, Bi Sumilah had embraced Aruna for Gusman's departure. It was until that night that Aruna stayed at her father's grave, lamenting the departure of the man who had raised her. Faran also stood there accompanying Aruna who was reluctant to leave the tomb. Now Aruna feels Faran is far away and does not care about him.
“Still, Bi.” Aruna unraveled the hug she had gotten for thirty seconds. That was enough to make him feel relieved. “I want to sleep.” He then got up.
Bi Sumi nodded. “Goodnight, Non Runa.”
Aruna smiled, then nodded. He then walked away from the kitchen. No one gathered in the living room. Thank goodness he got through it without much question.
Faran was not in the room, so he could avoid it tonight and could hide the wound on his right hand.
Faran himself was in the backyard with Edgar. Both of his parents rested first because they were tired. Miranti had other jobs, as well as Ashilla, while Asa had to study in her room.
Aruna stretched out her body and pulled the blanket. He tried to shut up, but, unfortunately, he found it difficult to fall asleep. Maybe he was not sad anymore, but fret had taken his composure that night because he had not received an apology from Faran.
For almost an hour Aruna was laying down while enjoying the pain in her hands, but, not one bit, she was sleepy.
Before long Faran came and prepared to go to sleep. Immediately Aruna pretended to be closed while hiding her bandaged hand. The man got into bed and slept behind him. Aruna's chest hurt again, now even more because his hands also felt throbbing pain.
