Behind The Lies

Behind The Lies
All Are No Longer the Same

At exactly two in the afternoon, Aruna woke up from her sleep. This afternoon he was going to visit his grandfather in the hospital, lucky that Ashilla asked him to rest before going to the hospital because sure enough, he was very tired and his body felt sore.

After the shower, he felt fresher. After he finished preparing he came out of the room and went to the dining room, then opened the hood. The food available at the table did not interest him in the least. “Bi,” call Aruna on Bi Sumi.

“Iya, Non.” Bi Sumi quickly walked out of the room. He does not constantly take care of the work because if it is finished he can relax a little.

“I don't eat coconut milk soup, please auntie just make egg ceplok same pickled carrot, I'm hungry.”

“Good, Non.”

“Don't be too much, make it for lunch only, because I won't repeat the same menu."

"Yes, No."

"After that, I went to the hospital. Mr Yayan where?”

“Di mushola.”

“Ya already, quickly make, I wait in the living room.”

“Good, Non.” Bi Sumi walked over to the stove and started cooking.

While Aruna slowly went to the living room and sat down while checking the phone, when she was about to reply to some incoming messages, suddenly the bell clinked. The loose-fitting, sleeveless fluffy woman got up and walked to the door. Just holding the door knob, the bell rang again.

“Search ready–” his sentence faltered when he saw that face again.

Iyash stood at the door. He went to the hospital, but he did not find Aruna there, so he decided to come here.

Aruna himself is confused. The same is true with Iyash who looks confused to say what.

“Sorry,” said the two together after being both silent for a few seconds.

Aruna then bowed. “I ... hhhhh ..” He then took a deep breath and somehow in the second to how Iyash held him into his arms.

“I'm sorry, Run. Sorry for everything I did.”

Aruna's chest was tight to hear Iyash say that. Aruna didn't want Iyash to blame himself for what happened ten years ago, because it was her fault.

“This is all my fault, until I dare not show my face in front of you,” isak Aruna slowly.

Iyash. “Why should I go? Why?”

Aruna did not dare to answer the question, she pushed Iyash's body away and stopped hugging him.

“I'm always sure you'll be back. My heart always refuses the bad news.” Iyash clasped Aruna's cheek. “I'm glad you're okay.” He then pointed at his own chest. “I was sick when I heard you were dead.”

Aruna quickly bowed and kept shedding tears. He felt like it had just happened yesterday.

“Run, please, don't go again.”

Aruna took a breath and kept the face away from Iyash's hand. “I have no reason to stay here.”

“I. Make me an excuse,” pinta Iyash.

Aruna used to go for Iyash's happiness, now even the same thing he would do, especially Iyash already has a replacement for him.

Aruna took a breath. It felt as if the lump of stone was still squeezing his chest. It used to be Iyash who he had, even he put Iyash more than himself. He trusted Iyash more than his father. However, he realized that his shadow alone left when he was in the dark, then why would he have to rely on others? Because after Ira asked him to leave, he found his other life much better.

“You'd better go home. Suppose we never met.” Aruna's voice was choked. “Think you don't know me.”

Iyash. It was as if he had just been thrown into the edge of the sky. He expected this meeting, but Aruna did not.

“Why?” Iyash's voice shook.

“Sorry ...” Aruna was about to close the door, however, Iyash held her back.

“Give me one reason,” pinta Iyash. “Why should I pretend?”

“Because everything is no longer the same.”

“Ten years I waited for you.”

“Nobody asked for it. Your mother told me I was gone, why are you still waiting for me.”

“Your last letter!” Iyash held Aruna's hand, as she was about to close the door again. “The last sheet of your diary, which you wrote the day after we crashed, while my mother said you died on the way to the hospital.”

Aruna. He looked back for fear Bi Sumi heard Iyash's scream. He came out and closed the door. “Now want you what?”

“Cute me.” Iyash pulls Aruna's hand and opens the car door for her. However, Aruna did not understand the man's intentions.

“What do you mean?”

“Come in, I want to show you something.”

Aruna. He remembered the accident again. “I don't want.” Aruna shook her head while retreating.

“You must come with me, so that you know that I have kept my promise.”

Aruna nodded back. “I don't want.”

“You must want.” Iyash pulled Aruna's hand back.

“Why are you, Yash?!” aruna shouted while throwing Iyash's hand, but the man grabbed him firmly. “I said no, no. You can't force me because we're nobody anymore.” Tears fell touching both cheeks of Aruna.

Iyash was flabbergasted as he let go of his hand.

“I used to use you because I couldn't stand on my own. Now I can do without you. He opened both his hands wide. “You see. I'm not the Aruna I used to be.”

Iyash's heart is beating. He felt insulted by Aruna's words.

“Better now you go home and pretend you don't know me. Pretend that we never had any relationship.”

Iyash's eyes are both in a pattern. “I've wasted ten years of my time waiting for you. I hope to fix everything like I used to.”

“As it used to be which?” Aruna paused on his sentence. “You forgot that I once apologized and you swore you would never forgive me.” Aruna pointed at her own chest. “The fiery ground is stuck here.”

The thunderbolt was like it had just struck Iyash. If he could remember what happened before the accident, he probably wouldn't be as lost as he is now.

Aruna herself deliberately behaved like that because there are feelings that must be maintained. “Sorry,” says Aruna slowly. He then turned around and left in front of Iyash.

Aruna sobbed and ran to the room. His chest again felt tight, as if the incident had just happened yesterday. He should have healed, he was sincere, but why does it still feel so painful? Even many times more than he had felt before.

Iyash felt gambled, his mind was in turmoil, his head felt like it wanted to break. He walked lethargicly leaving the terrace of Ganjar's house. However, he suddenly regained his senses when he crossed paths with Ashilla.

Ashilla stopped stepping and looked at him. “Why?”

Iyash is approaching. “I don't know if you're two different people, I'm sorry for all my attitude all this time.”

Ashilla's stunned. Apparently Iyash had met with Aruna. “Terus?”

“Help me to be back with him.”

Ashilla frowned. “I can't.”

“At least once, I just want to know why she left me.”

Ashilla's heart is beating. Seeing the shimmering sadness in Iyash's eyes he felt unbearable. Let alone seeing his obsession all this time “What can I do?”

Asked like that Iyash was even confused. He was unable to think and make any plans at this time.

“You wait here,” Ashilla said. The woman then enters the house, but Iyash follows her.

“Can I come in?” ask Iyash.

Ashilla nodded. “Sign in and sit down. I'll call Aruna.”
