Behind The Lies

“Why do we meet more often?” ask Iyash.

“You will only meet with who you want to meet and you will only see who you want to see.”

Iyash laughed at Ashilla's reply. But the woman had a point, because she just wanted to see it.

“If we meet people we don't want to meet? ask Iyash again.

“Dodge. That, ‘kan commonly done human?”

Since coming a few minutes ago, Ashilla did not immediately invite him in and instead chatted in the front garden enjoying the breeze of the night. Last night on the phone Ashilla asked Iyash to find a tutor for Asa, but instead Iyash was willing to become her child's tutor.

Ashilla shouldn't have done it. He could have looked for a tutoring teacher by asking the school, not Iyash.

“Lily nanyain you,” said Iyash, he then imitated the voice of a small child. “Why does my mom never come again, does she not love me anymore?”

Ashilla smiled. “You realize no heck,” then he bowed while scratching his eyebrows, “he is too far away and I can not take time there.”

“If he stays here, you don't mind?”

Ashilla looked at him. “I didn't, but, ‘kan this is Opa.”'s house

“Oh, then I'll tell Opa. Maybe Asa will be there for her friend?”

“It looks like it should be discussed, fear Asa also objected.”

“Not that kid should follow what the parents say? Asa should not refuse because you do not need to ask for approval?”

“Kok that? Asa is also human, we cannot act arbitrarily, even as parents. I don't want to be called authoritarian.”

“That's not authoritarian, you just explain and the final decision is on you, after all inevitably Lily is also your child and they will be brothers, ‘kan?”

Ashilla instantly nodded. However, that was not the real problem, but he was not ready to talk about Lily. “Eh but, no, it's better Lily stay there, let me go there later.”

“You say far?”

“Iya, but–” Ashilla paused her sentence. “I haven't talked about this same Angkasa.”

Iyash nodded and his ears were suddenly hot hearing that name.

“By the way how is it going?” ask Ashilla.

“What development?”

“Family Lily?”

“But.”

“How long? Don't-don't–”

“Mama,” calls Asa at the door, making Ashilla undo what she was supposed to tell Iyash.

“Hai .. knowin, tutor tutoring you.” Ashilla looked at Iyash.

“Mom?” Asa looked astonished. She asked Ashilla to bow because she wanted to whisper something to her mother. Of course Ashilla immediately fulfilled Asa's wish, while the boy moved one hand in front of the face while covering his mouth. “Why Om Iyash, there is nothing else?” whispered Asa.

Still in a stooped state Ashilla turned to look at the man standing upright next to her. “He's not a teacher, he's an architect, but you know he used to be a class champion and an Olympic champion three years in a row,” Ashilla said quietly instead of whispering so Iyash heard what Ashilla said to Asa.

Iyash smiled looking at the mother and the child. However, Asa's gaze showed that she did not like the presence of Iyash, because she thought that the arrival of the man was not to teach her to learn, but just wanted to approach her mother.

“Asa do not want to learn the same Om Iyash,” reject Asa.

“Why?” ask Ashilla who has been upholding the body since. “Yesterday you guys are quite familiar, ‘kan, it should be easier for Asa.”

“No! Om Iyash just want to deketin Mama,” replied Asa firmly.

Instantly Iyash frowned.

“As ...” Ashilla scowled. He was uncomfortable with what Asa said to Iyash. “Yash, on behalf of Asa I'm sorry.”

“Why? Anyway what Asa said is true,” replied Iyash blatantly.

Asa and Iyash looked at each other. “Why do you ask for help Om Iyash to ngajarin Asa?” ask the boy.

“Mama just ask caariin teacher tutoring and it turns out Om Iyash willing.”

“What because Mama didn't come out for money, I mean Asa this is free?”

Ashilla shook her head. “Gosh. It's not. Maybe more if there's anything good to say. If you need any help is easy because we already know, so, dear,” said Ashilla softly.

Asa sighed. “Ya already, Mama asked,” said Asa objected.

“So, how?” ashilla asked to make sure and for Asa to give a clear answer, not a forced answer like that. “Asa want to find another teacher?”

“Iya,” reply Asa firmly.

Ashilla took a breath and turned to Iyash. “Sorry, already wasted your time.”

“No,” says Iyash clumsy. Of course he wasted a lot of time. He's even willing to leave the project for tonight.

Asa tiptoed and stepped inside the house. He's upset not playing. For some reason, but it seems that he does not like it because Iyash aims to get close to his mother.

“Because you've come so far, I made you tea.” Ashilla took Iyash in and asked the man to sit on the sofa. “Wait a minute.”

Iyash. At least tonight he managed to get close, even though the other opportunity failed.

Before long Ashilla came and brought her tea. “Okay, I'm so not good,” said Ashilla while sitting down.

“Nothing, don't think about.”

From a distance Asa peeked at Iyash's closeness to his mother. He still remembers when Iyash said that Iyash liked his mother. And yesterday's incident was the most obvious thing before this.

“Please sample,” pinta Ashilla.

“Still.” Iyash took the cup and brought it closer to his mouth. Suddenly from far away Asa threw a ball right about the cup, until the water spilled over Iyash's thigh.

“Gosh!” This time Ashilla was angry. “Why are you, Asa?” he stood up and looked at Asa. “Mama has agreed that we are looking for another teacher, but you cannot behave like this!”

“Errgghh ..” Asa ran and went to the room. He's really upset.

Ashilla was about to catch up with the boy, but Iyash held him back.

“Nothing,” says Iyash despite the heat. “I know kok.”

Ashiilla sighed. “I'm sorry. I don't know why Asa became a gini, yesterday when I met you, he was all right, ‘kan?”

Iyash. “I think I'll go home aja.”

“Yakin?”

“Iya, how else.” Iyash looked at both of his thighs.

“Yeah I'm sorry.”

“Iya-iya, it's okay.

Ashilla took a breath again. He followed Iyash walking out of the house. The man got on the bike and his pants got wet. “You sure go home now?”

“Iya,” reply Iyash briefly.

“No longer going to catch wind?”

“There, I'm strong kok.”

“Thank you for coming and sorry for this incident.”

“Nothing, it is common if things happen out of control.”

Ashilla nodded. Iyash was quite heartened to accept what Asa had done to him.
