Behind The Lies

Behind The Lies
Request On Agreement

Exactly ten o'clock after a few minutes, Hasa, Ira and Rahma arrived in front of Juragan Hartanto's house. They were warmly welcomed by the owner.

While Rahma looked tired down from the car. “Mama is like dying,” Rahma said to her son.

Marissa laughed looking at her mother's messy expression and appearance.

“Ira asks Mama to last an hour and a half,” complained Rahma. For someone who has a phobia of heights, an hour and a half may feel very long and excruciating. However, Rahma must endure for the sake of her son.

“And Mama succeeded,” interrupted Marissa while hugging her mother's arm.

“Do not spindle, Cha, heavy, Mama limp.”

Ira laughs. “Sini.” He pulled Marissa's hand. “Same defection Aunt aja.”

Everyone laughed, except Iyash who looked so tense. She's probably afraid Marissa can't get into her plans.

Grandma Alma and Juragan Hartanto welcomed Rahma's presence. Rahma also told him many things, including when she had to raise Marissa alone after her husband went to the Divine Annunciation. Not to forget Rahma mentioned the services of Hasa and Ira in helping him finance school and Marissa needs.

While in the living room, Hasa and Ira were chatting with their youngest child.

“Where, Yash?” ask Hasa to the child. The words were overheard by Marissa. He didn't mean to eavesdrop just by chance as he turned his head, Hasa was asking that.

Iyash. “Originally you guys are not separated.”

Instantly, both of Marissa's eyes fumbled to hear what Iyash had just said. He thought maybe this was the reason Iyash left secretly from the hospital.

“Is Mama too bad until Papa could leave Mama?” ask Iyash.

“Icha,” call Rahma when Marissa is preoccupied with eavesdropping. “Where did you sleep? Mama wants a break.”

“Loh, is that okay? ‘And again chat with Grandma.”

“Udah kok,” replied Rahma.

“Iya, already. Poor Mama you are air drunk, better rest,” said Granny Alma.

Marissa nodded. “Yes, come on. Icha take Mama to room.” Marissa was forced to rise up leaving something that might be important to her.

“Mama is happy to hear, finally you want to get married.”

Iyash smiled in response to his mother.

“Om Rudi will be the marriage guardian of Icha. Papa has informed all family members, Bude Mirasih and Pakde Irwan will be gathered here with their children and grandchildren, including Mas Iqbal,”.

Iyash. What was drawn on his face at this moment was only tension.

“You are calm, Grandma pray everything is smooth.” Grandma Alma rubbed the grandchild's shoulder.

Iyash. He is still playing with his decision, but all this he did to save the marriage of his parents.

“As long as Papa keeps his promise, I will receive Marissa.”

“Treat him well,” says Hasa.

“As Papa treats Mama?” ask Iyash.

Hasa wet the throat. Hasa's treatment of Ira has not been bad, it's just not appropriate if throughout the household trip continue to expect other women. It's like Ira got Hasa's body, but his life was with the others.

“Marriage must be done whole soul. Do not expect him to repay everything you give, the most important thing is that you carry it out wholeheartedly and to the maximum extent possible,” advice Juragan Hartanto.

 Iyash.

“It is better before you establish a relationship with others, you have recovered from the old one,” added Juragan Hartanto.

“Already, sir, it's been ten years, there's no way Iyash is still expecting it,” Hasa said.

“Hopefully so. Mama hope you can keep your wife feeling.”

Iyash. However, he seemed to be not serious with his nod. He only remembered how the request could be a covenant. A few weeks ago when she heard that her parents were going to separate, she tried hard to unite them alone. Rasya did not help him in the least. Since Rasya knew what was really going on, that was also the reason Rasya decided not to join his father's company, he preferred to open his own business.

A few years ago, Iyash was betrothed to Adisty by his mother. However, Iyash refuses on the grounds of not having any feelings for Adisty. Then a few months ago, she brought Nadine as a girl friend, but again she had no intentions.

And a week ago, after Marissa finished her job designing the interior of her apartment. Suddenly Hasa conveyed her intention.

“Yash, your time to the furniture store Om Rudi. Papa can report that you went there with your future wife.”

Iyash. “Marissa means?”

“Iya. Papa, so think about it, how about you just marry him. After all, before Om Restu died, he had asked Papa to find a husband for Marissa someday. Papa thought, why look for the uncertain. Papa has a single child and now Marissa is an adult.”

Iyash did not immediately approve, he said, “If Papa wants to cancel Papa's divorce with Mama, maybe Iyash will consider.”

“Yash, this also makes your life. When are you going to be single? What do you want to find?”

“Don't say you're still expecting Aruna. You said it was too late yourself. Now is the time for you to seek your own happiness,” Ira said.

“Although in this world women only live Marissa, I still will not marry her, except, Papa the same Mama annul your divorce.”

Ira and Hasa are overwhelmed. It takes time for them to talk about this. Finally the night Iyash was injured protecting Marissa, they made their decision and they immediately told Iyash when Iyash had just finished surgery, if they were not going to get a divorce, iyash wants to marry Marissa. After hearing Iyash's approval, they then relayed it to Rahma.

Now that the decision had been made, Iyash felt unsure instead. He himself has a bad relationship with Marissa, although since yesterday Marissa has been trying to be nice to him.

“Yash, don't daydream, your brother came tuh,” said Ira. “Just like Grandma and Grandpa, she doesn't know about this agreement either, so Mama hopes you behave like you intend to marry Marissa for a long time,” Ira whispered as she patted Iyash on the shoulder.

“Why should that be so, instead of Iyash being betrothed?” ask Iyash.

“Reason you want, what? Didn't you always say that you didn't want to be betrothed?” ask Ira.

Iyash did not answer. He instead smiled at Rasya who had just finished chatting with his Grandpa and Grandma.

“Again sick, run here, apparently want to marry here, even though his woman is Jakarta,” Rasya told his sister.

Iyash just smiled, then he hugged the older brother. Although different fathers, in fact they only know it when they are both adults.

“Icha where?” asked Rasya while wailing. “Udah long time no see him.”

“There's inside again the same mother,” said Ira.

“Oh.” Rasya smiled, then looked at Iyash. While Iyash himself avoids the gaze of the Brother.
