Behind The Lies

Behind The Lies
Surprise Actually

Faran was about to drive, but the father took over. “You take care of Aruna, let father take the car.”

Faran nodded. Finally she replaced the mother in the back seat accompanying Aruna, Ayu moved to the front and sat next to her husband.

“Sayang.” Faran raised Aruna's head and placed it on her lap. Aruna's pale face and cold hands and feet made Aruna feel more guilty.

Along the way he checks Aruna's chest. Make sure his wife is still breathing. Suddenly Aruna's voice took a deep breath.

“Honey,” call Faran panic.

Aruna then coughed.

“Alhamdulillah,” sahut Faran give thanks.

The woman opened both eyes and immediately saw Faran's panicked face. “Honey, Mas sorry.”

“Mas,” hiss weak Aruna. His breath was breathless and tight.

“Alhamdulillah,” says Ayu.

“Then until,” said Faran while looking straight ahead and making sure that the father did not go the wrong way, then he compared it to the road directed maps.

The road was clear, so they could get to the hospital quickly. Arriving there, Faran immediately asked the hospital staff to prepare a gurney, it did not take long, Aruna was immediately taken to the ER and immediately got treatment.

Kamal was busy administering. While Faran was busy pacing in front of the ER door to block some people who were about to go in and out.

“Faran, sit down,” pinta Kamal while walking to the chair and sitting next to his wife. “Aruna will be fine. Yes, ‘kan, Bu?”

Ayu nodded, but Ayu herself panicked, afraid that anything would happen to her daughter-in-law.

Faran stopped his steps, then turned to his mother and father. “It's wrong me.”

“Nothing to blame. His name is also an accident,” said Ayu while getting up and taking him to sit.

“Yes, this accident is because of me, Bu.”

“Indeed you made the floor wet? Strange, when the husband who is clearly affectionate with his own wife even makes his wife like this, you,” Ayu's nag. Clearly here Ayu also felt guilty for leaving Aruna alone in the dining room.

Faran. “I scolded him last night.”

“Astaghfirullah. Just because he came home late and didn't tell you?” Ayu then looked at the husband while sighing.

“Family mother Aruna?” ask the nurse at the door of the ER room.

Faran got up and approached. “I am her husband, Sus.”

“Mother Aruna must be taken to the radiology room.”

“Oh.” Faran looked at his parents.

“Mother can accompany?”

Faran nodded.

Aruna had already been moved into a wheelchair and slowly she was taken out of the Emergency Unit room. Faran replaced the nurse pushing Aruna's wheelchair.

“We can come, Doc?” ask Ayu.

“Bby, Bu.”

The wheels on the chair that Aruna was sitting on continued to accelerate and stopped in front of the space they were heading to. “Pardon me, Father, Mother, only the husband can accompany the patient,” said Nurse.

Ayu nodded. He wanted to know the condition of his son-in-law.

Faran's heart rumbled more and more, he was afraid that the incident would be worse than imagined.

“Mother can stand?” ask nurse.

Aruna nodded.

“Pak, mom must remove clothes from the waist, we will do transvaginal Ultrasound, to know the bleeding that mother is experiencing,”, said Dr. Eka.

Faran nodded his head and following Doctor's direction, he helped Aruna take off her pants, then went up to the bed, both of Aruna's legs were opened wide and lifted so that they were slightly higher than the rest of her body.

“Pak, Yesterday after Bu Aruna got the lab results from Doctor Mirza, she was referred to the gynaecologist,” said Dr. Eka while preparing the tool.

“Kemarin is already in the USG as well, the age of the womb is on the sixth Sunday, now we will do a follow-up examination because the mother had fallen and there was a spot from the birth canal. Fear is dangerous, especially mothers have experienced miscarriages.”

“Hah?” Faran was flabbergasted to hear all the Doctor's explanations. “Miscarriage?” He looked at Aruna who looked so resigned.

“Hopefully nothing happened, sir, Mom. Try now mom take a breath,” pinta Doctor Eka on Aruna. “Bismillah.”

Aruna took a breath and grimaced as the Doctor inserted the transducer into her body through the birth canal.

Faran grew worried and clasped Aruna's hand while pecking at the top of her head.

The doctor explained one by one what was on the screen. Faran. He doesn't really listen to the doctor's explanation, but his mind is even bothered by the events of a month ago when Aruna asked him to stay longer in Germany. He usually takes only one week off. However, it was up to two weeks that she stayed there and she felt that she and Aruna were like they had just had their honeymoon.

“Alhamdulillah, good result, yes, Bu.” Doctor Eka looked at the old Aruna. “Mother don't be surprised.” He then looked at Faran. “Bapak also yes.”

Aruna looked at her husband who looked so shocked.

“We found two bags in the mother's womb, that means, most likely the mother is carrying twins.” Doctor Eka smiled. “After seven years of waiting, Mom, Thank God, God instantly love two. Congratulations yes.”

Aruna smiled and gave thanks.

Faran himself was even confused. He was like he was slapped in a row and kept being made aware that this was real.

“It's the first bag and it's the second bag.” Doctor Eka marked it on the monitor screen. “But we must continue to monitor its development, fearing that there is one that does not develop. Usually twin pregnancies will be seen at the age of ten or twelve weeks, but some are detected early like Aruna's mother.”

“Honey, you?”

Aruna nodded lethargicly.

“Iya, Sir. Wife's pregnant. I think Bu Aruna told me the results of yesterday's check.”

“My husband just came home, Doc,” bela Aruna.

“Ohh ...”

“Alhamdulillah.” Faran dropped his knees and made a prostration of gratitude on the floor. Then he got up and rained down on Aruna with a kiss.

Aruna smiled, after yesterday's misunderstanding, she could finally see Faran's happy face.

“Bu Aruna is still weak, need a lot of rest. The twin pregnancies were too risky, sir, Bu.” The doctor ended the examination. He pulled out the transducer slowly. The nurse then helped Aruna lower her legs, then got off the bed slowly and re-fitted her clothes.

“Bu Aruna needs a lot of rest, no stress. Fortunately, he was brought here quickly. The blood is still low, but this is common in pregnant women, although it should not be considered trivial because this has a big impact on the baby in the womb, let alone these two, the nutrition must be balanced, the nutrition must be balanced,” said Doctor Eka.

Aruna and Faran nodded simultaneously. Faran then helps Aruna back in a wheelchair.

“His bleeding, Doc?” ask Faran worried.

“God is fine, sir. Bu Aruna just needs a break.” Doctor Eka smiled. “Do regular checks yes, Mom. Next month we meet again. Can be here or in my clinic.”

“Iya, Doc,” said weak Aruna. “Can I go home?”

“Because Mom is still weak, you should first be treated here.”

“But, Doc, I have to attend my Brother's wedding.”

“Oh. When's the show?”

“Later tonight, Doc.”

“Oh, I guess now. If the show is later tonight, rest first here until afternoon. Let me monitor the progress.”

“But, Doc.”

“Honey already, you should follow the doctor, it's all also for the good of you and our baby.” Finally Faran made a sound.

Aruna looked up at her husband.

“Bu, the room is ready,” said the nurse.

Faran nodded, then got up. He held the wheelchair handle and pushed it. “Honey, Mas sorry for last night.”

Aruna looked up at her husband, then nodded. There's no point in arguing anymore, anyway now she has to focus on her baby.
