"Alright, we have all made a mutual agreement if the construction of Queen Hotel should be completed immediately and certainly completed before the new year arrives. I thank you very much for your cooperation. Meeting on this day I closed and happy holiday weekend," said Alice firmly and straightforwardly.

"Well, Miss Quinn," said the meeting members, none other than Alice's business partner, nodding their heads with her compass.

Alice and her assistants immediately left the meeting room. One of the men who was also in the meeting immediately came out and chased after him.

"Alice!" call the guy.

Alice took a deep breath, and turned her body.

"What's Jason?" ask Alice coldly.

"I want to take you to lunch together" Jason replied with a smile.

"Sorry Jason, I can't. There's still other business to be done" Alice said.

"How about we enjoy the weekend together? I'll take you on vacation to a very beautiful place" Jason said still not giving up.

"I have my own agenda. Once again I'm sorry" Alice said with a faint smile.

Jason was very disappointed, it was very clear from the look on Jason's face. This was the umpteenth time Alice had refused his invitation.

Several other business associates came out of the meeting room. Jason immediately changed his face.

"Well then be careful and do not eat late. I don't want you to be sick" Jason said gently as he held Alice's shoulder.

Alice rounded her eyes as she looked at Jason's hand which boldly touched her shoulder. Alice's gaze grew colder.

Jason smiled cynically. Jason deliberately wants to show their business partners who are all men, that he and Alice have a close relationship more than just business partners outside of work.

Alice immediately shook Jason's hand, not wanting to be the subject of gossip in the businessmen's neighborhood. Alice immediately stepped on her feet and left the building where they were doing the meeting.

Alicia Alexandria Quinn, nicknamed Alice, is the CEO of the Quinn Company, succeeding her late father. Alice is 22 years old. Jacob immediately drove the boss to Quinn mansion, the mansion of Alice's late parents. Alice did not live there, but in her own mansion. Alice occasionally comes there if she misses her Daddy and Mommy very much.

The giant gate opened automatically and Alice's car entered the mansion.

"You two go home to rest. And for the next two days I give you time off work so you can spend your time with your family" said Alice.

"none. The maids here will meet all my needs" Alice replied.

"None Miss. Thank you very much" said Jacob and Bella.

Alice just nodded her head, then got out of the car and into the mansion.

Although Alice always showed a cold impression, but she had a good heart to the people who were nearby. Jacob and Bella are very loyal to him.

Jacob immediately drove out of the Quinn family mansion.

Alice immediately headed to her room to clean up. The maids had prepared lunch dishes for him at the dinner table. After finishing her lunch, Alice went into her parents' room.

The room looks clean and tidy. Alice smiled faintly, the maids have taken good care of her parents' room. Alice's hands touched one by one the belongings of her late parents. Alice opens the wardrobe and hugs her Daddy and Mommy clothes hanging there. Until Alice's eyes saw a black box hidden under the clothes.

Alice took the box and opened it. Alice scrunched her forehead when she saw that there was only an old book stored inside. Alice picks up the book entitled "The Weak Queen" (Queen of the Weak).

"This must be Mommy's old novel" Alice murmured with a smile.

Alice got into bed and read the novel. From the title it can be guessed if the novel tells about a queen named Roseline. She was a weak queen and was not considered by her beloved husband, the king. And at the end of the story the queen and her family were sentenced to death by the king for allegedly poisoning the king's concubine and causing her to miscarry.

"Sad. How could there be such a weak woman? Why survive with a man who does not love him and want to be bullied continuously?" grumbled Alice with her face.

Alice immediately put the book on the bed and laid down her body.

"The novel's story just pisses me off. Huhh... I'd better get some sleep now" said Alice.

It didn't take long, Alice's two beautiful eyes were already closed. But not long ago, he rested his eyes, there was a cry that disturbed him. When Alice opened her eyes, how shocked she was when she realized that she was in a foreign place that was far different from her parents' room.

"What's going on? Where am I now?" alice asked as she widened her eyes.
