Chapters 16. Goby Mountain

"Seline." Call Duke Ramon when he enters Queen Roseline's room.

Queen Roseline had already changed her clothes with the clothes she usually used to go out around the kingdom.

"Sister please state your intention. Goby Mountain is dangerous. Brother doesn't want anything to happen to you." Please Duke Ramon.

"We have no other choice, brother. We must immediately obtain the antidote to the poison and cure His Majesty the King." Answer Queen Roseline.

"Do you still love King Alec? Don't you want to get out of the palace? This is a good opportunity for you." Duke Ramon.

"Stop it. I did want to get out of the palace, but not in this way. I don't want to take advantage of the King's pain for my own benefit." Queen Roseline's.

Duke Ramon was silent.

"I'm sorry, Brother. King Alec must get well soon or something bad will come sooner. It is not only the royal family that will be the target of their crimes, but also our family. In my life as Alice, I've lost my Daddy and Mommy. And in my present life, I don't want to lose my father and brother." Inner Queen Roseline.

"Sister need not worry. Felix will come with me. I'll be fine, brother." Queen Roseline's words were reassuring.

Duke Ramon took a deep breath.

"Sincerely, Your Majesty. Miss Arabella has come." Report Marie.

A beautiful woman wearing a hood on her head went into Queen Roseline's room.

"Fine." Duke Ramon.

Arabella opened her hood and smiled. Arabella Benneth is the younger cousin of Duke Ramon and Queen Roseline, the daughter of Duchess Rosalia's younger sister Countess Almeera.

"Sister Ramon, Sister Seline." Sapa Arabella's.

"I asked Ara to come here and disguise myself as long as I wasn't in the palace. My posture and Ara are not much different. And Dean will go undercover to be Felix, so no one can get suspicious. I told Empress Dowager Helene. Ara will remain at the queen's court, on the grounds that the Queen is ill." The Bright Queen Roseline.

Duke Ramon nodded in agreement.

"Ara, thank you so much for helping me. And I'm sorry you had to turn your brown hair black to look like me." Queen Roseline.

"It's okay Her Majesty the Queen aka My dear sister. Your sister will do anything to help you." Answer Arabella.

Queen Roseline, Duke Ramon and Felix are already in King Alec's room. They used the secret passage shown by Marquess Filan.

"line. You bring the sword of His Majesty the King. This is not an ordinary sword and will help you to conquer the wild beasts in Goby Mountain. Just like my late husband, King Uther, did."

Queen Dowager Helene hands the King's sword to Queen Roseline. The queen was stunned to see a beautiful sword with a ruby decoration on its handle in her hand.

"Marquess Filan, give strict guard in the king's palace. I'm sure the mastermind of the King's illness is still wandering around this palace." Queen Roseline.

Marquess Filan nodded. Queen Roseline sat on the edge of King Alec's bed, then clasped his hands.

"Hold on. You have to stay alive and don't let your enemies win. I don't want to die silly in this world." Inner Queen Roseline.

"Marquess Filan will show you a secret passage that will take you to the edge of the forest that is west of the palace." Said Suri Helene's Mother.

"Good Mom. We went and prayed that we might get a black rose and bring it here." Roseline.

Marquess Filan escorts Queen Roseline, Duke Ramon and Felix through a secret passageway that leads them to the edge of the forest. Marquess Andry and his men were already there and preparing the horse they were about to ride. Queen Roseline with the help of Duke Ramon climbed on horseback, then they immediately began the journey to Mount Goby. Marquess Andry and some of his men escorted them.

While in the middle of the journey, there were some bandits who blocked the road and were about to rob their luggage. Marquess Andry and his men immediately cleaned up the bandits so that the Queen's journey went well.

After traveling for half a day, they finally arrived at the foot of Goby Mountain.

"We're just escorting up here Her Majesty the Queen. We will stand guard at this place and wait for Her Majesty the Queen, Duke Ramon and Felix to return." Marquess Andry said.

"Thank you Marquess Andry." Queen Roseline.

Queen Roseline, Duke Ramon and Felix continue their journey and enter the forest area of Mount Goby.

While in the king's palace, King Alec began to open his eyes slowly upon hearing the sound of crying. King Alec spread his gaze and saw that Empress Dowager Helene was sitting on the edge of her bed in tears. King Alec also saw Countess Sarah and Baroness Yolanda there. King Alec opened his mouth to make a sound, but could not.

"His Majesty the King is conscious." Exclaimed Marquess Filan who knew King Alec had already opened his eyes.

"My son. Thank goodness you're awake." Said Suri Helene's Mother.

Physician Ma immediately checked the condition of King Alec.

"Hamba is grateful that His Majesty has woken up from his stupor. But His Majesty's body is very weak. King Alec widened his eyes in surprise.

With a heavy heart Countess Sarah left the king's room with Baroness Yolanda. Countess Sarah wants to be near King Alec.

Back to the Goby Mountains. Once inside the forest, the three of them immediately felt the change in air pressure that was in the forest. Goby Forest is overgrown with thousands of tropical rain trees that have large stems and very leafy leaves, thus creating a gripping atmosphere.

Ggrr!!!

Queen Roseline stopped her horse from calming down.

"What's up, Your Majesty?" Ask Felix.

"We have guests." Answer Queen Roseline.

Duke Ramon and Felix were immediately on standby by taking their swords out of the scabbard. A white tiger appeared quite large of its normal size and walked up to them with a hungry look. The white tiger immediately jumped to attack Duke Ramon and Felix. Duke Ramon and Felix exert their strength to fight the white tiger, but none succeed in injuring him. Duke Ramon and Felix bounced off the tail of the white tiger and spewed fresh blood.

Queen Roseline descended from her horse, then unsheathed the King's sword. Without the slightest fear, Queen Roseline pointed the sword at the white tiger and looked at him sharply.

"Be careful, Seline." Shouted Duke Ramon.

Ohhhhawarrr!!! (The white tiger roars)

Slowly the white tiger sat down and its head lowered like it was saluting Queen Roseline. Duke Ramon and Felix were made in disbelief. Queen Roseline approached stroking the head of the white tiger gently.

"Please show me the way to the black rose." Queen Roseline.

The white tiger stood up and walked down a street. Queen Roseline, Duke Ramon and Felix followed her from behind and left their horses there. The further they went into the forest one by one the Goby forest guard beasts like wolves, bears, lions, panthers and pythons came out from their hiding places, then salute Queen Roseline. After a long walk, the white tiger stopped.

Queen Roseline saw a road on her right and left side overgrown with beautiful red roses. Queen Roseline immediately set her foot down that path. When Duke Ramon and

Felix would step in, the white tiger and the panther against them.

"Sister, Felix. You guys just wait here. Looks like I'm the only one allowed inside and take the black rose itself." Queen Roseline.

"Be careful, Seline. And remember the message of the physician Ma, lest you be struck by the thorn of the rose." Duke Ramon.

Queen Roseline nodded with a smile, then stepped her feet again until she found a garden of red roses. The Queen of Roseline was amazed by the sight of a red rose before her. Until the two beautiful eyeballs of Queen Roseline are fixed on a rose plant that is slightly different and located at the very center.

"Black rose flower." Queen Roseline muttered with a smile.

Queen Roseline immediately approached the black rose. There seemed to be only one black rose plant there with its stem and stalk filled with sharp thorns like blades and needles.

"I have to be careful when picking it and by using my own hands. And only a sincere heart can take this flower." Queen Roseline monologues.

Outside the park, Duke Ramon and Felix look very agitated.

"If it wasn't for the whereabouts of Her Majesty the Queen and the sword of Her Majesty the King, maybe we would have been their meal, sir." Felix.

"Your words are absolutely right, Felix. Look at the sharpness of their teeth and nails, making me goosebumps." Duke Ramon observed the sharp teeth of the beasts that were there.

After a long wait, Duke Ramon and Felix finally saw Queen Roseline come out of the garden with a black rose in her hand. Queen Roseline walked up to them with a triumphant smile. Duke Ramon and Felix are very happy.

"Finally we managed to get this black rose." Duke Ramon said excitedly. "Are you hurt, Seline?"

Queen Roseline shook her head.

"No Brother. I'm doing fine. We'd better get back to the palace and treat His Majesty the King." Answer Seline.

"Thank you white tiger and all of you." Said Queen Roseline while bowing in respect.

The white tiger immediately roared loudly and was followed by another star. After that the white tiger stomped one foot onto the ground. Suddenly Queen Roseline, Duke Ramon, Felix, and their three horses were at the foot of Mount Goby. Marquess Andry and his banished son came straight out of their hiding place.
