Chapter 4. The Taste That Has Changed

Early in the morning Roseline had made chicken porridge and delivered it directly to the Queen Mother. Roseline walks out of the Queen Mother's palace with Marie. Roseline plans to go to the palace library in search of a book.

And it turns out that from the opposite direction, King Alec was walking in tandem with Countess Sarah, looking a smile on the lips of both. And behind the two was Marquess Filan and Countess Sarah's servant.

"I saw you were walking towards the library. Then why did you immediately turn around when you saw us? Are you deliberately avoiding?" Ask King Alec cynically.

Roseline looked at King Alec sharply.

"Hamba just doesn't want to ruin the beauty of this bright morning with an eye-opening view." Answer Roseline.

King Alec scratched his forehead. There was a hateful look in Roseline's eyes.

"His Majesty the King and his entourage want to visit the Queen Mother, right? Please continue your journey. Please excuse me. Come on Marie." Roseline saluted, then left without waiting for an answer from King Alec.

King Alec hardened his jaw.

King Alec immediately set foot again to the Queen Mother's palace, followed by Countess Sarah, Marquess Filan and Countess Sarah's servant.

The Queen Mother's servant immediately reported, and shortly thereafter King Alec, Countess Sarah and Marquess Filan entered the Queen Mother's room.

"Greetings Mother." Greetings King Alec.

"How are you this morning, my son?" Ask the Queen Mother.

"Good, Mommy." Answer King Alec.

"Sincerely, Your Majesty the Queen Mother." Countess Sarah said softly and with a sweet smile.

"How are your arms, Countess Sarah?" Ask the Queen Mother.

"It's better, Your Majesty. All thanks to His Majesty the King and the treatment of the court physician." Countess Sarah replied as she glanced at King Alec and smiled.

The Queen Mother only smiled faintly.

"So I had a chance to meet with the Queen, and said if the Queen had visited Mother first." King Alec.

"Yes my Son. Queen Roseline kindly made chicken porridge for Mom and she herself delivered it to me." Said the Queen Mother.

"Chicken porridge? Queen's Made?" King Alec asked in disbelief.

"I'm fine, Nara. Most importantly His Majesty the King gave his attention to me." Countess Sarah answered while forcing her smile.

Countess Sarah and her maid, Nara, immediately returned to the guest pavilion.

"Is there anything my son wants to tell your mother?" Ask Queen Mother Helene.

"The Queen's attitude changed. He even courageously avoided me and ignored me." King Alec said in annoyance.

The Queen Mother smiled.

"Why do you have to upset my son? Weren't you always ignoring Roseline, and you never considered her presence in this palace." Said the Queen Mother.

King Alec's tongue felt faint to answer. The words of the Queen Mother seemed to punch her heart.

"Aren't you the one who asked the Queen not to intrude and interfere in your affairs, my Son? You must still remember and not forget it, right?"

King Alec was silent.

King Alec stiffened his jaw and clenched his hand. King Alec immediately left the Queen's palace with his broad strides and returned to his own palace. Marquess Filan soon followed him.

King Alec slammed the door of his private room hard.

"How dare he leave without asking me for permission first." King Alec's yelling is upset.

"Do you need to send a shadow warrior to find the Queen's whereabouts, Your Majesty?" Ask Marquess Filan.

Roseline already wears a more modest outfit and wears pants to disguise herself. Roseline tied her long hair like a ponytail. Currently Roseline is riding her favorite horse with Felix and Marie to the capital market.

Roseline went down in front of a small boutique. In the novel it is told that the boutique belongs to the husband and wife of Mr and Mrs Bernard. Mr. Bernard went into the boutique with a roll of cloth.

"Servant please forgive Her Majesty the Queen for not recognizing who you really are." Said Madame Bernard while looking down.

Roseline smiled.

"Wake up." Roseline.

Mr. Bernard and Mrs Bernard immediately got up and stood up.

"What an immeasurable gift Her Majesty the Queen deigns to come to our little boutique." Said Mr. Bernard.

"How can Mr Bernard recognize me?" Ask Roseline.

"Hamba had seen Miss several times come to the market with Mr. Sullivan, before His Majesty married His Majesty King Alec." Answer Mr. Bernard.

Roseline pursed her lips.

"If my dresses are ready, then my bodyguard will take them here. And here's his face money." Said Roseline while giving her a bag of gold coins.

"It's a lot Your Majesty." Said Mr. Bernard.

"I want you to buy me the best cloth for my dresses." Roseline Sahut.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Said Mrs Bernard.

"Thank you, Queen. May Her Majesty the Queen always be granted happiness and longevity." Said Mr. Bernard.

"Together, Mr. Bernard." Roseline.

Roseline and her servants soon left the boutique. In the middle of the road, Roseline stopped her horse. Roseline went down and met the farmers who were cultivating a vast wheat field but looked less fertile. Marie and Felix are coming down.

"Why do plants in the fields look infertile?" Ask Roseline.

"Because the seeds we got were not good and we didn't have the money to buy fertilizer, miss." Answer one farmer.

"What's your name?" Ask Roseline to the farmer.

"Gustav, Miss." The answer.

"Do you and the other farmers have livestock?" Ask Roseline.

"There's Miss." Answer the farmers.

"good. Gather your cattle dung. And tomorrow take it to this field. I'll bring you new wheat." Roseline.

The farmers scratched their foreheads.

"What's Miss cattle dung for?" Ask Gustav.

"Livestock manure can be used as natural fertilizer." Answer Roseline.

"Who is Miss really?" Ask Gustav.

"Only people want to help. Tomorrow morning I will come to this place again with a new grain of wheat. You guys just get the animal shit ready. Let's put these fields together." Roseline said, then climbed on the horse.

"None Miss. Thank you very much." Gustav and the other farmers.

"Felix, order your men to go to Duke Sullivan's residence and ask for grain. Tell my dad if I ask for it." Roseline Whisper.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Felix.

Roseline immediately pulled the strap of her horse and continued on towards the palace.

"Excuse me Marquess. In front was Countess Sarah wanting to meet Her Majesty the King." Report guard.

"Tell him if His Majesty the King is busy and cannot be disturbed." Marquess Filan.

The guard immediately met Countess Sarah.

"Your Majesty the King is busy and cannot be disturbed, Miss." Said the guard.

Countess Sarah's face looked very disappointed. He deliberately visited King Alec's private room because he wanted to invite King Alec to lunch together. Countess Sarah and her maid immediately returned to her room.

"Tell the guards, if the Queen returns, tell them to report immediately." The King of Alec.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Marquess Filan.
